Abstract

Abstract

Healthcare providers have made various efforts to increase patient and community satisfaction with health services. However, large sample size studies have not been conducted to investigate the determinants of community stratification in Indonesia. This research aimed to analyze determinant factors affecting patient satisfaction in a type B hospital. A cross-sectional with an online survey was used and analyzed with path analysis. A total of 884 participants were recruited with the criteria that all respondents were patients aged 17 years and over who visited the inpatient and outpatient hospital. Overall, the value service satisfaction was very good (scored 87.44 score). Moreover, online service directly increased by age (b = 0.68; 95% CI = 0.08 to 1.27; p = 0.026), gender (b = 0.82; 95% CI = 0.15 up to 1.49; p = 0.016), and education level (b = 1.76; 95% CI = 0.86 to 2.66; p <0.001). Moreover, service costs are directly affected by employment (b = 0.67; 95% CI = 0.92 to 1.26; p = 0.023); and product-specific services were directly affected by age (b = 0.74; 95% CI = 0.20 to 1.29; p = 0.008). These findings suggest that education, gender, and age directly affect online services as an indicator of satisfaction.

Abstract

Background: Breastfeeding is essential for providing newborns with necessary nutrients crucial for growth and development. Lactation management involves preparing mothers and families to support successful breastfeeding. Self-efficacy, or a mother's confidence in her ability to breastfeed, influences her decision to breastfeed and her response to challenges.Method: This study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design, focusing on third-trimester primigravida mothers in the Tarus Community Health Center working area, Kupang Regency, with a population of 67. Using purposive sampling, the study evaluated the impact of education on lactation management and family support on breastfeeding self-efficacy.Result: The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant improvement in self-efficacy after the intervention (Asym.Sig = 0.000, p < 0.05).Conclusion: These findings suggest that providing education on lactation management and family support can significantly enhance breastfeeding self-efficacy in expectant mothers, thereby promoting successful breastfeeding practices.

Abstract

Background: Organizational change is the embodiment of changing organizational environments, structures, cultures, technologies, or people. Changes are planned to make the organization more effective and efficient, but there is still resistance from members of the organization. Negative reactions arise because changes provide pressure, stress, and uncertainty for employees. The goal in the study was to analyze employees' perceptions of commitment, readiness, and resistance during times of change to the implementation of the "MARMER" program.Subjects and Method: The study was conducted at Dr. Iskak Tulungagung Hospital. The selected hospital organization is a hospital that has a program preventing antimicrobial resistance through restriction efficiency (MARMER) for the control of antibiotic resistance. Research design uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study is all health workers at Dr. Iskak Tulungagung Hospital. Data collection through questionnaires. Multivariate data analysis using SEM with SmartPLS.Results: Commitment to change has a significant direct influence on the readiness for change (t-values= 9.95 > 1.96; Standard Coefficiency= 0.53). Commitment to change does not significantly affect change resistance (t-values = 1.22< 1.96; Standard Coefficiency= 0.13). Readiness for change has a negative effect on change resistance (t-values= -5.30 >1.96; Standard Coefficiency= -0.60). Commitment to change negatively and significantly affects resistance to change through readiness to change (t-values = -4.24 > 1.96; Standard Coefficiency= -0.36).Conclusion: Commitment directly affects the readiness of change. Commitment and readiness affect the resistance of change. Commitment has a significant effect on resistance through readiness for change. Keywords: MARMER, antibiotik, commitment, readiness, resistanceCorrespondence: Asruria Sani Fajriah, IIK Strada Indonesia, Jl. This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of the family and the role of midwives in decision making for referrals for maternal complications in the Kuprik Community Health Center working area. This research uses an analytical observational research design with a cross sectional approach. Using the accidental sampling technique, a sample of 30 respondents was obtained, the independent variable (family role and midwife's role) and the dependent variable (referral decision making) using a questionnaire. The Chi-Square statistical test was used to determine the relationship between the two variables. The research results showed that the majority of respondents had families who did not play a role in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications, namely 17 respondents (56.7%), the majority of respondents had a role for midwives in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications, namely 27 respondents (90%) , and the majority of respondents refused to be referred, namely 16 respondents (53.3%).Chi-Square statistical test analysis found that there was a relationship between the role of the family in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications (p value = 0.000 < 0.05), and there was no relationship between the role of midwives in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications (p value = 0.088 > 0, 05).The need for a good family role in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications through the role of the husband, wife's parents and in-laws.
