Abstract

In higher education, where it is required to create superior human resources, digitalization is a challenge that must be overcome both administratively and in, terms of learning functions. The occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic seems to encourage and force the implementation of digital education, one of the implementations of which is an online learning system. The online learning system should not be an obstacle that discourages the pursuit of knowledge. The academic community of Universitas Putra Indonesia (UNPI) Cianjur in collaboration with the Faculty of Psychology, Jayabaya University is trying to answer all the challenges above in the form of Community Service activities with the Short Class – Influencer Academy program. Through the Short Class – Influencer Academy program. This activity uses the Service-Learning or SL method, which is an activity that involves practical experience, academic learning, and community involvement. Activities will take place from 20 December 2022 to 20 January 2023. From the activities that have been carried out, it is concluded that this activity can not only be carried out for disaster survivors but can become an annual program to prepare advanced students to enter higher education.

Abstract

The earthquake that occurred in Cianjur in November 2022 had an impact on all aspects. As a result of the accompanying team's observations and interviews with the children and those closest to them, it was found that the earthquake had an impact on the children's psychological condition. Among other things, they lose the fun and enjoyment of playing with their peers. They experience anxiety and fear and lack self-confidence. Childhood is a golden period in a series of developmental stages. During this period, almost all children's potential experiences rapid growth. This period is important because during this period various physical and psychological aspects develop. Considering this, in community service activities, one of the activities carried out is providing intervention for earthquake survivor children in the form of play therapy as a form of social support so that children can escape psychological trauma and return to age-appropriate developmental stages, such as being able to feel the fun of playing with his friends and exploring. After the intervention was carried out and re-observed, there were visible changes in the behavior shown by the children while playing. Those who were initially quiet, unhappy, and always wanted to be near their mother became active, laughed, and no longer worried after participating in play therapy activities.

Abstract

The large number of students accessing the internet every year causes changes in behavior that occur during adolescence, one of which is narcissistic behavior that focuses on oneself when publishing oneself by displaying video content that is considered quite interesting. As technology develops, many digital applications emerge. The background to this research is the researcher's interest in the social phenomenon that is currently occurring, namely the use of social media TikTok among class XI students at Cimenteng Pagelaran High School. Likewise, the phenomenon of narcissistic behavior among teenagers has become commonplace. There are quite a lot of TikTok social media users at Cimenteng Pagelaran High School, TikTok social media is used as a medium to express self-confidence through video content. Therefore, researchers want to know whether the social media TikTok has a role in building self-confidence, thereby giving rise to students' narcissistic behavior. The research aims to determine the role of TikTok social media on students' narcissistic behavior. The subjects of this research consisted of 3 students who were active users of the social media TikTok in class XI Science at Cimenteng Pagelaran High School. The theoretical basis used was New Media from Pierre Levy. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection activities used were interviews and documentation. The research results show that social media has a role in shaping students' narcissistic behavior, because students who use TikTok social media become more confident because they are used to creating content that shows the special side of the informant, one of which is showing physicality and beauty.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Construction of Song MeaningImagine John Lennon's work as a Social Criticism Communication Media for John Lennon Fans at Putra Indonesia University, Cianjur". The objectives of this research include how to construct the meaning of songsImagine John Lennon's work in the semiotics of Roland Barthes and how social criticism forms in songsImagine. The theory used in this research is Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. This research uses qualitative research methods with a semiotic approach. The data collection methods used in this research include observation, interviews, documentation, literature study, online data, and data triangulation. The results of this research show that from a denotative level analysis, songsImagine tells the story of John Lennon's anxiety about what happened in the world in 1971 when the conflict between Vietnam and America occurred. Then, in the connotative level analysis, songsImagine are John Lennon's dreams for the world and wrap his idealism into the song. In the analysis at the myth level, there is an ideology that is very often mentioned by John Lennon, namely "peace". John Lennon imagined several things in these lyrics which aimed to achieve a life full of peace without conflict.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the concept of Islamic leadership of school principals improves teacher communication ethics in education units. The type of research used in this discussion is using library research or literature review which includes: systematic identification, analysis of documents containing information related to the study problem. In this study, the data collection method that researchers used was the documentation method, namely finding data about things or variables in the form of books, newspapers, journals, and so on. The results of the study show that in Arabic it is known as alAl-Imamu khodimul ummah, which means a leader is a servant for the people he leads. The application of al-Imamu khodimul is carried out by means of the heart, head and hands of the serving principal. Ultimately, the Islamic leadership of the principal is expected to become a role model or role model for teachers in serving students, in particular the ethical communication skills of teachers in serving students in education units. At least 6 concepts of Islamic communication ethics are known based on the Qur'an as described
