Abstract

Most Tejo village residents are Muslim but do not participate in many Islamic activities in their daily lives. In this case, a problem arises regarding caring for corpses because some residents still have little knowledge of corpse care, which is very important for society. One small example of caring for a corpse is praying, washing, shrouding, and burying, and this problem must be resolved through community service activities. The objectives of this service include: a) Increase the understanding of youth members of the Darul Jalal Mosque and religious organizations in Tejo village regarding the care of corpses. b) Growing a generation of teenagers who understand the care of corpses. This service activity was carried out at the Darul Jalal Mosque, Tejo Village, Mojoagung District on September 9, 2023. 23 participants attended this activity. This service activity used discussion and training methods. Data collection via questionnaire after socialization regarding participant enthusiasm. The results of community service activities showed that the level of enthusiasm among teenagers at the Darul Jalal Mosque increased by around 95.6% because after this socialization was held, many of the participants understood the material presented by the resource person and many of the participants were also active in discussion forums during the socialization

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu lansia di Desa Cupak melalui upaya pemberantasan buta huruf Al-Qur'an dengan kegiatan Baca Tulis Qur'an (BTQ). Program dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 dan 22 Agustus 2024, dengan melibatkan 25 peserta lansia. Sebelum pelatihan dimulai, dilakukan pre-test untuk mengukur kemampuan awal peserta dalam membaca Al-Qur'an, termasuk huruf hijaiyah, tanda baca (mad, waqaf, qolqolah), dan tajwid (izhar, ikhfa, idgham, iklab). Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pemahaman peserta hanya mencapai 66%, yang mencerminkan rendahnya literasi Al-Qur'an di kalangan ibu lansia. Setelah pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode partisipatif dan berbasis komunitas, hasil post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan rata-rata pemahaman mencapai 85%, memperlihatkan peningkatan sebesar 19%. Pendekatan partisipatif yang digunakan berhasil menciptakan suasana belajar yang interaktif, dengan peserta aktif berlatih dan saling mendukung dalam kelompok kecil. Selain peningkatan kemampuan teknis dalam membaca Al-Qur'an, program ini juga berdampak positif pada aspek sosial dan spiritual. Ibu-ibu lansia menjadi lebih percaya diri dan lebih terlibat dalam kegiatan keagamaan seperti pengajian dan tahlilan setelah pelatihan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendidikan berbasis komunitas yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan literasi dan memberdayakan masyarakat secara spiritual. Beberapa tantangan, seperti kesulitan dalam memahami tajwid yang lebih kompleks, diatasi melalui bimbingan tambahan dan pendampingan intensif.

Abstract

Community service in Kromong Ngusikan Jombang Village was carried out to provide TPQ children with a deeper understanding of ablution procedures in accordance with the guidance of Islamic law and the practice of daily prayers. Through the lecture method, to provide basic insight, as well as educational games to make it easier for children to understand the material. This activity focuses on the process of direct understanding and practice. The results of the questionnaire data show that the average knowledge of TPQ Al Islamiyah children regarding the practice of ablution is at 39%, meaning that there are still many who do not properly understand the ablution procedures according to the guidelines. However, after the implementation of practice and guidance there was a jump to 82%, which reflects the effectiveness of this program in increasing children's abilities and awareness of the importance of performing ablution correctly. This increase not only shows the success of the learning method used, but also emphasizes the importance of repetition and direct practice. in understanding daily worship. The impacts include increasing children's knowledge, teacher innovation, and increasing enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of religious activities, analyze their contribution to strengthening the Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering these values at Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School. The subjects of this study consisted of 8 students and 3 teachers (ustadz/ustadzah) who were directly involved in the boarding school’s religious activities. Purposive sampling was used to select participants based on criteria of active student participation in religious activities and teachers supervising these activities. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that religious activities at the boarding school are carried out in a structured manner through daily, weekly, and seasonal activities, such as congregational prayers, Quran recitation, study of classical Islamic texts, istighotsah, tahlil, manaqib, maulid celebrations, and social activities such as communal work. These activities contribute to strengthening students’ religiosity, cooperation, independence, discipline, tolerance, and responsibility, which align with the six dimensions of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Supporting factors include the exemplary role of the kyai and teachers, the boarding school’s religious culture, and an integrated educational system. In contrast, inhibiting factors include differences in students’ understanding of Pancasila values and a densely packed activity schedule.

Abstract

Village government faces signiticant challenges in information dissemination and transparency implentation du to limited digital infrastructure and human resources capacity. This community service aimed to develop a village website as an information medium and transparency tool for Jogoloyo Village government. The participatory development method was employed, involving needs assessment, codesign, capacity building, and community engagement. The developed website (https://desajogoloyo.com) features 18 main paes including administrative services, budget transparency modules, MSME (Micro, Small Medium Enterprise) directories, and public complaint systems. Result showed improved information accessbility, enhanced operational efficiency trough digitization of administrative processes, increased public satisfaction from 3.2 to 4.2 (scale 5), and enhanced government trasparency. The website successfully facilitates two-way communication between village government and community, supporting good governance principles. This initiative demonstrates the potential of digital technology in transforming rural governance and can serve as a replication model for other villages.

Abstract

Developing learning media at the junior high school level is the focus of this research. The importance of information and communication technology is to support students in learning activities and create interesting media for learning. This teaching module discusses the importance of maintaining human behavior to live in harmony with nature. By instilling the nature of caring for the environment in students, it will grow a sense of mutual care and prevent damage to the natural environment. This study aims to develop a teaching module for the Pancasila Student Profile for educators implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum includes 6C skills which is an addition to the role of skills 21st century. The teaching module developed by this researcher is differentiated, namely PAI with IPA. The method used is the R&D research and development method. This research is used to validate and develop a learning media that adapts the 4D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate by distributing learning media feasibility questionnaires. This research involved biology lecturers, PAI teachers, and biology teachers. The evaluation of the Islamic science technology-based environmental management module resulted in high feasibility percentages of 90%, 96.25%, and 98.75%. With a very feasible category, this teaching module can be used as an attractive learning media to support the learning process, thereby improving student learning outcomes. Therefore, the author recommends this development research be used as a reference for further research related to learning media in the form of teaching modules for the Merdeka Curriculum.
