Abstract

This study aims to obtain a description of the errors made by students of class XI MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sojol in solving Quadratic Function questions. This type of research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach that describes the mistakes of class XI MIA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Sojol in solving quadratic function questions. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sojol consisting of two students. Data collection was carried out by assignments and interviews. The results showed that the mistakes made by students according to the Castolean Stages analysis method contained three types of errors, namely (1) Conceptual errors made by students in the form of students not being able to use the rules correctly in determining or writing the intersection point of the graph with the y axis where to write the answer y = (0,-12) which should be written is the intersection point with the y axis is (0,-12), (2) the procedural error made by the student in the form of the student being wrong in writing the coordinates of the intersection point with the x axes where to write the final result (-6,6) and (2,0) who should write answers (-6,0) and (2,0) and write answers (-6,2) who should write answers (-6,0) and (2 , 0) and the student could not solve the problem, (3) a technical error was made in the form of an error in performing arithmetic operations in determining the peak point.

Abstract

This community service research aims to empower santri at the As'adiyah Islamic Boarding School Lapai Branch through an integrative approach that synergizes Indonesian language literacy, Islamic economic law, character education, and entrepreneurship. The implementation method uses a participatory approach with stages of preparation, needs identification, collaborative planning, scientific aspect integration, and student bazaar implementation. Results show significant improvements in santri capabilities, with 18 out of 25 business groups achieving sales targets. Program impacts include institutional transformation of the pesantren, improved literacy, understanding of Islamic economics, and Islamic character formation. The research conclusion affirms the effectiveness of a holistic approach in empowering santri and the potential of pesantren as an adaptive educational institution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pemberdayaan generasi muda pesisir Danau Tempe dalam mengembangkan usaha ekonomi kreatif berbasis sumber daya lokal. Dengan potensi perikanan, kerajinan tangan, dan pariwisata, kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas generasi muda melalui pelatihan, pengembangan produk kreatif, serta penguatan ekosistem ekonomi kreatif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan generasi muda dalam pengolahan hasil sumber daya alam, pemasaran, dan kesadaran pelestarian lingkungan. Kesimpulan menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara masyarakat, pemerintah, dan akademisi untuk keberlanjutan program pemberdayaan.

Abstract

Audiovisual media can help students in improving their mastery of mufrodat. Mufrodat learning is a process of delivering learning in the form of words or vocabulary in Arabic learning. This study aims to improve the mastery of Mufrodat through the application of teaching materials based on audiovisual media. The study involved an Arabic teacher and 27 learners. This research uses classroom action research with the Kemmis & McTaggart model, which has four cycle stages: planning, implementation, observation or observation, and reflection. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The results of this study show that: 1) The application of Audiovisual media in improving the mastery of mufrodat students of grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School Palopo can be carried out correctly. The results of observations of student learning activities during the learning process evidence it. 2) The mastery of mufrodat students in grade VII of SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School Palopo before and after the application of audiovisual media has increased with each cycle.

Abstract

This research discusses Islamic Religious Education teachers' strategies to overcome student delinquency at SMA Negeri 3 North Luwu.  This research aims to find out (1) the forms of student delinquency, (2) the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in handling student delinquency, and (3) the obstacles faced by teachers in the process.  This research methodology is descriptive and qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.  The data were analysed with data reduction, presentation, and verification stages.  The results showed that: (1) The forms of student delinquency in SMA Negeri 3 North Luwu are quite varied.  These behaviours include being late, leaving class, skipping class, fighting, using electronic devices that violate the rules, and fighting teachers.  (2) The strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers include preventive and curative measures, such as activating religious activities at school, providing motivation, collaborating with various parties, providing guidance and direction, and imposing punishment.  (3) The obstacles teachers face include the large number of students, the lack of cooperation between principals, teachers, and students, and students' uncontrolled use of social media.  This research contributes to providing an overview of how in turn, it can provide valuable information for the improvement of education in the future.

Abstract

Pergerakan harga Bitcoin yang bersifat volatil serta dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal menjadikan proses prediksi harga sebagai tantangan yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi harga Bitcoin secara multivariat menggunakan variabel Open, High, Low, dan Close (OHLC) dengan menerapkan model hybrid Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) dan Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU), serta mengintegrasikan data sentimen berita cryptocurrency sebagai variabel eksternal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemanfaatan data historis harga Bitcoin dan berita cryptocurrency yang telah melalui tahap prapemrosesan, analisis sentimen, normalisasi data, serta pembentukan deret waktu menggunakan teknik sliding window. Dataset kemudian dibagi menjadi data latih dan data uji berdasarkan urutan waktu untuk menjaga karakteristik time series. Evaluasi kinerja model dilakukan menggunakan metrik Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), serta koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model hybrid LSTM–GRU mampu menghasilkan prediksi harga Bitcoin yang akurat dan stabil pada seluruh variabel OHLC, dengan nilai MAPE di bawah 3% dan nilai R² di atas 0,98. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan prediksi multivariat dengan integrasi sentimen berita efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan model untuk menangkap pola pergerakan harga Bitcoin secara lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency markets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana exhibit high volatility, making price forecasting difficult when relying solely on conventional technical analysis. This study aims to analyze cryptocurrency candlestick patterns by utilizing Gramian Angular Field (GAF) representations and to evaluate the performance of a hybrid deep learning model combining CNN–LSTM–Transformer to support investment decision-making. The proposed method involves processing daily historical Open, High, Low, and Close (OHLC) data from three major cryptocurrency assets: Bitcoin (BTC-USD), Ethereum (ETH-USD), and Solana (SOL-USD), covering the period from January 1, 2020, to September 30, 2024, obtained from Yahoo Finance. The time-series data were transformed into 64×64 pixel GAF images and used to train a baseline CNN model as well as a hybrid CNN–LSTM–Transformer model. Model evaluation was conducted across multiple forecasting horizons, including 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 180 days, and 1 year, and was further complemented by real-time testing using the CoinGecko API in March 2025. The results indicate that the hybrid model achieved the best performance at different horizons for each asset: BTC-USD at the 30-day horizon with an R² of 0.971 and an SMAPE of 0.77%, ETH-USD at the 1-year horizon with an R² of 0.948 and an SMAPE of 0.81%, and SOL-USD at the 1-year horizon with an R² of 0.910 and an SMAPE of 4.72%. Real-time testing demonstrated that the model consistently captured the overall price movement trends despite high market volatility. It can be concluded that the integration of GAF representations and the hybrid CNN–LSTM–Transformer model has strong potential to enhance cryptocurrency candlestick analysis and can be utilized as a component of a Decision Support System for digital asset investment.

Abstract

Arabic language learning among students of the Arabic Language Education Program at UIN Palopo often faces challenges, particularly in mastering grammatical rules. This study aims to investigate the effect of the Nadwah Usbu’iyyah program on students’ Arabic grammar proficiency. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and pretest and posttest instruments. The sample consisted of 19 students from the Arabic Language Education Department who actively participated in the Nadwah Usbu’iyyah program. The results revealed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores, with a calculated t-value of 11.25, which exceeds the critical value of 1.734. This indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Furthermore, the average post-test score (78) was higher than the pre-test score (61), demonstrating a notable improvement. These findings suggest that the Nadwah Usbu’iyyah program has a significant positive effect on enhancing students’ mastery of Arabic grammar. Therefore, it is recommended as an effective supplementary learning strategy in Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada pentingnya mengevaluasi kesesuaian sistem penilaian PAI dengan standar Kurikulum Merdeka guna mengidentifikasi kesenjangan, meningkatkan kualitas asesmen, serta memastikan capaian pembelajaran optimal dan autentik. Penilaian PAI seharusnya mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, namun praktik di sekolah ini masih lebih menekankan aspek kognitif dan belum sepenuhnya sesuai standar yang ditetapkan. Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara standar kurikulum dan praktik di lapangan sehingga penting dilakukan evaluasi sebagai dasar perbaikan sistem penilaian agar lebih autentik dan holistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan sistem penilaian Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di UPT SMP Negeri 7 Satap Masamba dan menilai sejauh mana program tersebut mencerminkan capaian kompetensi peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah evaluasi program dengan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods). Penelitian dilaksanakan di UPT SMP Negeri 7 Satap Masamba pada tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, guru PAI, dan peserta didik, sedangkan objek penelitian adalah program sistem penilaian PAI. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar angket, pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen melalui validasi ahli (expert judgment). Keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik serta member check. Data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan analisis kesenjangan (Discrepancy), sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan sistem penilaian PAI berada pada kategori baik dengan kesenjangan yang relatif kecil. Pada tahap desain, guru telah menyusun perangkat dan instrumen dasar, meskipun belum sepenuhnya sesuai prinsip penilaian autentik. Tahap instalasi menunjukkan kompetensi guru memadai, namun sarana dan prasarana perlu penguatan. Pada tahap proses, penilaian berlangsung aktif dan interaktif, meskipun pemanfaatan hasil untuk tindak lanjut masih terbatas. Sedangkan pada tahap produk, capaian kognitif peserta didik baik, sementara aspek afektif dan psikomotorik belum optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) kelas VII MTs SA Patimanjawari Malangke Barat. Proses pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang inovatif menyebabkan peserta didik cenderung pasif dan hasil belajar yang belum optimal. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Bagaimana implementasi model pembelajaran Visual, Auditory, dan Kinesthetic (VAK) dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik? (2) Apakah model pembelajaran VAK efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik? (3) Bagaimana hasil belajar peserta didik setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran VAK? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses implementasi model pembelajaran VAK, efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan minat belajar, serta dampaknya terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 peserta didik kelas VII. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik dari kategori “cukup” pada siklus I menjadi “sangat baik” pada siklus II. Hasil belajar peserta didik juga meningkat signifikan, di mana seluruh peserta didik mencapai nilai di atas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Visual, Auditory, dan Kinesthetic (VAK) terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran SKI. Pendekatan ini mampu mengakomodasi gaya belajar yang beragam sehingga menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna. Model ini direkomendasikan untuk digunakan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran di sekolah.
