Abstract

Memes have become an inevitable digital cultural phenomenon on social media, serving not only as a source of entertainment but also as powerful communication tools. In the context of news, the use of memes provides not just additional visual elements but also the potential to influence public perception of the issues presented. This article proposes a semiotic analysis approach to understand how memes are utilized in news contexts. By considering the visual structure, iconography, and symbolism embedded within memes, semiotic analysis enables the uncovering of hidden meanings that reflect the social, political, and cultural contexts at the time of their creation. Through this study, the article aims to illustrate how memes can play a role in shaping public narratives and reflecting power dynamics and ideological conflicts within the realm of digital news.

Abstract

Hoaxes as fake news trigger various debates and misunderstandings in society. The purpose of this research is to detect the receptive level of the Bakaru Village community who are new users of internet services. Before the community is easily influenced by false discourses that are difficult to control, the community must have the insight that not all writings or utterances on the internet, especially social media, are facts. This research method was carried out in conjunction with community service in Bakaru Village, namely in the Literacy Village activity. The results of this research are the level of trust of the Bakaru Village community in responding to hoaxes and introducing insights into hate speech. Despite being an underdeveloped and remote village, based on the results of the review, the Bakaru Village community has a foundation of belief not to easily believe in every new thing without confirmation from the hoax victim. Hoax news is not easily spread in this village because of the difficulty in interacting through social media, as well as hate speech that is not easily produced because the forum for expressing opinions on news is only through direct interaction.

Abstract

Dementia is a disorder that occurs in the elderly as a result of physiological changes in the form of cognitive decline. Dementia affects about 10% of those over 65 years and 47% over 85 years. In Indonesia, the prevalence of dementia in elderly people aged 65 years is 5% of the elderly population. This prevalence increases to 20% in elderly people aged 85 years and over. The purpose of writing a proposal for the implementation of nursing care in patients with dementia with altered thought processes. This research is a descriptive study with a case study design, respondents consisted of one respondent carried out on August 4-6, 2020. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research after giving nursing care, the authors carried out the appropriate nursing actions in the action plan until the third day. For more accurate results it is advisable to further study the elderly with dementia, especially for diagnostic tests, and pay attention to the management of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies, as well as complete documentation.Keywords: Gerontic Nursing Care, Dementia, Thought Process Disorders

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Effect of Convenience, Service Quality and Product Features on Livin By Mandiri Mobile Banking User Satisfaction (Case Study of PT Bank Mandiri Kcp Sumbawa Besar). This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. Determination of the sample in this study using the Paul Leddy formula through non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method and obtained a total of 96 research samples. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression analysis and the analysis tool used was the application of the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) 25 for Windows. The results of the analysis in this study showed that convenience did not have a significant effect while service quality partially had a positive effect and significant and product features partially have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction

Abstract

Pneumonia is responsible for nearly 20 percent of these deaths and is the leading cause of death from infectious diseases for the under-five age group. Based on the Profil Kesehatan Indonesia (2022), pneumonia is still a major problem causing 73.9% of deaths. Pneumonia in Batam City received 4,762 toddlers, and the highest data was obtained in the Kibing sub-district of 175 cases in the working area of ​​the Batu Aji Health Center, Batam City. One of the factors that cause pneumonia is exclusive breastfeeding and low vitamin A. This research aims to see the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and vitamin A with the incidence of pneumonia in toddlers in the Kibing subdistrict, Batu Aji Health Center Working Area, Batam City in 2022. This research is an analytical study with a cross sectional design. To 62 respondents with a sampling technique with cluster random sampling technique. The results of the chi-square statistical test were obtained (p = 0.005 <0.05), meaning that there was a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of pneumonia, in Vitamin A (p = 0.003 <0.05), meaning that there was a significant relationship between vitamin A and pneumoniae. The head of the Batu Aji Health Center is expected to be able to create a work program by increasing IEC for exclusive breastfeeding of infants and vitamin A to toddlers.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the plot and analyse the Islamic values in the Korean drama Memories Of The AlHambra and how they are displayed in the drama. The study method applies descriptive qualitative, with a semiotic analysis approach from Roland Barthes. The study results show that the drama Memories Of The AlHambra in denotation meaning, which tells a game created to find the lost game master with various conflicts. The connotation meaning is that these two characters have their own habits, a very high ambitious spirit related to the development of their company, J-One Holdings. The myth in this scene is very pro and con because many say religion should not be "dramatised". There is no theory that Fatima's hand is the key to heaven but in the drama Muslims believe Fatima's hand is the key to heaven, therefore there is a legend about the gate of justice on the day the key to heaven meets Fatima's hand, the gate will be opened and the AlHambra palace will collapse. As for Islamic values, they are found in the drama, namely, the value of worship, moral values, sharia values, moral values, and local wisdom values. There are plot principles in this drama, namely plot of actions, plot of characters and plot of though.

Abstract

Community service (PKM) with the title of Jarimatika Training for Nine Multiplications was motivated by the assumption of some students that mathematics, especially multiplication, is a scary subject because it is difficult to understand. Actually, there are many fun learning methods where students find it easy to understand multiplication. One of them is by using the jarimatika method where the fingers are used as a calculation tool. The purpose of this training is to make multiplication calculations fun, where students learn to count while playing their fingers as if they were playing a game. The target subjects of the PKM activity were fourth grade students at Calengka Elementary School, Bumiwangi Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency. The method used was PAR (Participatory Action Research) which was divided into five stages, namely: to know; b. to understand; c. to plan; d. to act; e. to change. The results of the activity showed that through this training, students' ability to perform calculations by multiplying nine became faster and more fun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendalami fenomena representasi islam pada masa kampanye Pilpres 2019 melalui media Twiiter dengan pendekatan semiotika komunikasi politik. Teori sekaligus kerangka metode analisis semiotika yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah semiotika Roland Barthes. Semiotika Barthes menggunakan dua tingkat penandaan (two levels of signification). Tingkat penandaan pertama (first level of signification ) juga disebut dengan pemaknaan denotatif. Sedangkan tingkat penandaan kedua (second level of signification) disebut juga dengan pemaknaan konotatif. Data primer bersumber dari media sosial twitter yang dimiliki oleh empat peserta Pilpres 2019, yaitu berupa data visual hasil screenshoot yang berisi pesan verbal dan nonverbal. Adapun data sekunder berupa kajian literatur dan dokumentasi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasangan Joko Widodo dan Maruf Amin di Twitter merepresentasikan identitas Islam Nusantara beraliran moderat yang identik dengan kelompok organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama. Di sisi lain, Kampanye pasangan Prabowo Subianto dan Sandiaga Uno di Twitter merepresentasikan identitas Islam Konservatif yang identik dengan kelompok alumni aksi 212 dan organisasi Front Pembela Islam. Nahdlatul Ulama adalah representasi kelompok Islam pro satus quo, sedangkan kelompok 212, Habib Rizieq dan FPI adalah representasi Islam oposisi.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam berbasis kearifan lokal di Indonesia dan Filipina menawarkan solusi yang relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi era kontemporer. Dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai lokal, pendidikan Islam dapat memberikan bekal bagi generasi muda menghadapi perubahan dan tantangan zaman tanpa melupakan identitas budaya. Pendekatan ini juga dapat memperkuat kohesivitas sosial dan memperkaya khazanah pendidikan di kedua negara. Di Indonesia pendidikan Islam telah berhasil mengimplementasikan model pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dengan kearifan lokal secara efektif. Pola pembelajaran holistik dan berbasis praktik telah menghasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya memiliki pengetahuan agama yang kuat, tetapi juga memiliki karakter yang mulia, keterampilan beragam, dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan masyarakat. Sedangkan pendidikan Islam di Filipina telah mengalami transformasi cukup besar. Di mana integrasi Madrasah dalam sistem Pendidikan Nasional merupakan langkah penting bagi umat Islam Filipina untuk mengakses pendidikan berkualitas dan pengembangan budaya kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan unit terkecil dalam masyarakat yang berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan kesehatan setiap anggotanya. Sebagai pilar utama dalam keluarga, ibu memiliki tanggung jawab besar dalam menciptakan lingkungan keluarga yang sehat melalui pemenuhan gizi, kebersihan, serta dukungan kesehatan mental dan emosional. Artikel ini membahas peran ibu dalam memenuhi kebutuhan gizi keluarga, menjaga kebersihan dan sanitasi, serta mengelola kesehatan mental anggota keluarga. Para ahli sepakat bahwa ibu memiliki peran yang krusial dalam mendukung kesehatan fisik dan mental keluarga melalui berbagai tanggung jawab, mulai dari perencanaan makanan sehat hingga memberikan dukungan emosional yang positif. Dengan optimalisasi peran ibu dalam keluarga, tercipta lingkungan yang sehat, harmonis, dan sejahtera, yang secara tidak langsung berkontribusi pada kesehatan masyarakat yang lebih luas.
