Abstract

Konsentrasi polutan di beberapa ruas jalan sangat bervariasi tergantung dari jumlah kepadatan kendaraan bermotor. Dari beberapa jenis emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan oleh kendaraan bermotor, karbon monoksida merupakan salah satu polutan yang paling dominan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsentrasi emisi gas buang karbon monoksida pada kendaraan bermotor khususnya di ruas jalan Metro Tanjung Bunga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis kuantitatif dengan melakukan observasi lapangan, analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pemodelan kualitas udara. Dalam menentukan persentase karbon monoksida yang dihasilkan oleh kendaraan bermotor yaitu dengan melakukan pengukuran lapangan dan membuat pemodelan dari hasil pengukuran udara ambien. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa besarnya konsentrasi gas karbon monoksida akibat lalulintas di ruas jalan Metro Tanjung Bunga berkisar 15580,90 ug/m3 sampai 55709,24 ug/m3 dan setelah dilakukan model prediksi penurunan karbon monoksida oleh vegetasi dengan luas ± 10.080 m2, didapatkan daya serap polutan karbon monoksida sebesar 53%. Pollutant concentrations on several roads vary greatly depending on the number of motorized vehicle densities. Of the several types of exhaust emissions produced by motorized vehicles, carbon monoxide is one of the most dominant pollutants. The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of carbon monoxide exhaust emissions in motorized vehicles, especially on the Tanjung Bunga Metro road. The method used in this study is quantitative analysis by conducting field observations, data analysis is carried out using air quality modeling. In determining the percentage of carbon monoxide produced by motorized vehicles, that is by conducting field measurements and modeling the results of ambient air measurements. The results showed that the concentration of carbon monoxide gas due to traffic on the Tanjung Bunga Metro road section ranged from 15580.90 ug/m3 to 55709.24 ug/m3 and after predicting the reduction of carbon monoxide by vegetation with an area of ± 10,080 m2, absorption capacity was obtained. carbon monoxide pollutant by 53%.

Abstract

Setiap Rumah Sakit baik negeri maupun swasta harus bertanggung jawab terhadap pengelolaan limbah yang dihasilkan dari kegiatannya. Pengelolaan limbah dapat dilakukan dengan membangun suatu IPAL (Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah) yang efektif dengan menyesuaikan pada karakteristik limbah dan beban pencemar. Sumber limbah cair untuk kegiatan Pembangunan RSIA Andi Hawang di Kabupaten Luwu Utara (Masamba) ini berasal dari aktivitas pegawai, pasien dan pengunjung. Adapun rencana penggunaan air bersih untuk pegawai sebanyak 3.000 liter/hari atau 3.0 m3/hari, pasien sebanyak 7.310 liter/hari atau 7.31 m3/hari, sedangkan pengunjung sebanyak 390 liter/hari atau 0.39 m3/hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah perancangan IPAL (Instalasi Pengelolaan Limbah) dengan kapasitas 10 m3, dengan menggunakan jenis IPAL biofilter septic tank. Hasil perancangan IPAL biofilter septic tank dengan kombinasi proses anaerob dan aerob tersebut dapat menurunkan zat organik (BOD, COD), amonia, padatan tersuspensi (SS), phospat dan lainnya dapat juga turun secara signifikan Every hospital, must be responsible for managing the waste generated from its activities. Waste management can be done by building an effective WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) by adjusting to the characteristics of the waste and pollutant load. The source of liquid waste for the construction of the Andi Hawang Mother And Child Hospital (RSIA) in North Luwu Regency (Masamba) comes from the activities of employees, patients and visitors. The plan is to use clean water for employees as much as 3,000 liters/day or 3.0 m3/day, patients as much as 7,310 liters/day or 7.31 m3/day, while visitors as much as 390 liters/day or 0.39 m3/day. The aim of this research is to design an WWTP (Waste Management Installation) with a capacity of 10 m3, using a biofilter septic tank WWTP type. The results of the WWTP biofilter septic tank design with a combination of anaerobic and aerobic processes can reduce organic matter (BOD, COD), ammonia, suspended solids (SS), phosphate and others can also decrease significantly

Abstract

Fungsi kawasan perkotaan salah satunya adalah sebagai pusat pendidikan. Kota Makassar merupakan salah satu kota dengan jumlah kampus terbanyak di Indonesia. Aktifitas pendidikan secara langsung turut berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan emisi yang berasal dari mobilitas mahasiswa, dosen dan pegawai. Emisi yang dihasilkan menjadi salah satu penyebab pemanasan global sehingga untuk mengurangi laju emisi yang dihasilkan maka diperlukan ruang terbuka hijau. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kemampuan tanaman dalam menyerap emisi Karbon Dioksida di areal kampus. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah melakukan perbandingan jumlah beban emisi Karbon Dioksida yang dihasilkan dengan kemampuan daya serap ruang terbuka hijau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) eksisting Universitas Negeri Makassar kampus Parangtambung dalam menyerap emisi CO2 yang dihasilkan dari semua jenis kendaraan baik kendaraan roda dua (motor) maupun kendaraan roda empat (mobil) di semua zona akses masuk dapat di serap secara keseluruhan oleh vegetasi dimana total emisi CO2 yang dihasilkan adalah 47.822.4 g/jam sedangkan jumlah emisi CO2 yang dapat diserap oleh tanaman adalah 652.855.1 g/jam yang berarti masih terdapat 605.032.7 g/jam emisi CO2 yang mampu diserap sehingga kajian selanjutnya adalah prediksi jumlah emisi yang dihasilkan di tahun mendatang agar rekomendasi pengelolaan dapat dilakukan agar daya serap tanaman tetap mencukupi.

Abstract

Keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam menentukan lokasi tanam ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas L.) yang banyak dilakukan oleh para petani masih belum sesuai dengan kaidah dasar karakteristik dan kesesuaian lahan yang sudah ditentukan berdasarkan beberapa penelitian terdahulu sehingga salah satu akibatnya adalah produktivitas yang tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi kepada para petani dalam menetukan lokasi areal tanam ubi jalar dengan menerapkan metode alternatif pendukung keputusan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dengan memberikan bobot preferensi pada kriteria pilihan, kemudian dari output metode tersebut menjelaskan rangking nilai tertinggi hingga terendah yang dapat dijadikan rekomendasi dalam menentukan lokasi tanam. Hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai menggunakan metode SAW memberikan informasi bahwa kriteria lahan terbaik dalam penanaman ubi jalar tertinggi ditemukan di Kecamatan Camba dengan nilai sebesar 89,8 sedangkan terendah ditemukan di Kecamatan Mandai dengan nilai sebesar 30. Oleh sebab itu, keberhasilan produktivitas yang paling optimal dan sesuai dengan kesesuaian lahan, sangat dianjurkan untuk dikembangkan pada areal intensitas curah hujan yang tinggi yang ditemukan pada Kecamatan Camba, Kabupaten Maros.

Abstract

This research aims to find out an overview of the prototype solar power-based Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), the component requirements of the PLTS system as an energy source for the WWTP, and level of efficiency in using solar power plants in IPAL operations. The type of research used is experimental research. Based on the research results a prototype solar power-based IPAL system has been produced with a capacity of 800 liters per hour or 11,200 liters per day (14 operational hours) with a Biotech/biofilter type modified by adding a water filter after the chloronization process. Besides of that, a source of electrical energy for all electrical components of the WWTP with a solar panel and battery capacity of 200 wattpeak and 100 Ah respectively. The efficiency level of the solar panels used reached 88.36% at 12.00 (very sunny weather conditions) with input power above output power in the range 09.00-16.00. With this efficiency, electrical energy can be stored to operate the WWTP at night.

Abstract

PT. Bosowa Isuma as a partner in the Kedaireka 2022 Matching Fund Program has not diversified commodities and production results in carrying out cultivation activities. The purpose of this activity is to carry out the cultivation of white snapper (Lates calcarifer) in order to diversify the cultivation business. The method of implementation by training and application of white snapper farming in a 5,000 m2 fish pond owned by PT. Bosowa Isuma. The stages of implementation in the form of training and application of pond cultivation include: 1) Preparation of ponds; 2) Seed stocking; 3) Feeding; 4) Sampling and Grading; 5) Water quality measurement; 6) Pest and disease control; 7) Harvesting. The results obtained were in the form of increased understanding, knowledge and insight into white snapper farming and harvesting 1,005 white snapper weighing between 90-200 grams within 80 days of maintenance. The expected output is training and white snapper farming, students get enough knowledge and skills about white snapper farming technology to get a job and entrepreneurship with sufficient income, and get 20 credits of experience outside the campus. This activity can help pond farmers in increasing income and welfare.

Abstract

PT. Bosowa Isuma has a pond area of 157 ha and has been carrying out operational activities since 2010. Pond cultivation that is carried out continuously results in a decrease in land carrying capacity and will ultimately have an impact on the productivity of pond cultivation. The purpose of this activity is to maintain and improve the carrying capacity of pond land by planting mangroves along the river mouth of Borimasunggu Village. The implementation method is by conducting counseling and planting mangroves along the river mouth of Borimasunggu Village. The organizers of the activity were lecturers from the University of Bosowa, technicians from PT. Bosowa Isuma and 7 students of the MBKM Program. The result of the activity was counseling and planting of 500 Rhizopora apiculata mangrove seedlings along the river mouth of Borimasunggu Village. The resulting output is the planting of 500 Rhizopora apiculata mangrove seedlings along the river mouth of Borimasunggu Village, students gain sufficient knowledge and skills about planting mangrove plants and gain experience of 20 credits outside the campus and lecturers can carry out Tri dharma activities, namely carrying out community service. Mangrove planting can provide dual benefits both in terms of economy and environment, in the sense that production can increase and benefit farmers and the balance of the carrying capacity of pond land can be created/maintained.

Abstract

PT. Bosowa Isuma which has problems with suboptimal shrimp pond productivity (traditional aquaculture system), water quality monitoring is still manual, manual feeding, and does not understand the standards of Good Fish Farming Methods (CBIB). The goal of kedaireka 2022 is to improve pond governance that is more systematic, productive, environmentally friendly and sustainable and implement the Good Fish Farming Method (CBIB) standard. The implementation method with the application of intensive cultivation system technology and CBIB standards is planted with shrimp covering an area of 5,000 m2 owned by PT. Bosowa Isuma. Vanname shrimp farming in a controlled environment so as to provide food guarantees from cultivation by paying attention to sanitation, shrimp and fish feed and chemicals and biological materials. The executors of the activities are lecturers, technicians of PT. Bosowa Isuma and 7 students of the MBKM. The result of the activity is the application of Vanname shrimp farming technology Intensive System using mill technology, automatic feeder feed and IoT-based monitoring applications is an engineering of sustainable appropriate technology capable of solving the problems of farmers in Majannang Village, especially PT. Bosowa Isuma. Supporting factors in carrying out activities are the availability of land for Vanname Shrimp cultivation and the high work ethic of the cultivator community in carrying out cultivation as well as economic encouragement in running a shrimp farming business to meet family needs, while the inhibiting factor of activities is still the lack of assistance and training in shrimp farming in improving human resources in Majjanang Village

From the training activities, it can be concluded that through starup training, students get enough knowledge to run a business. Starup's knowledge must be immediately implemented and accompanied periodically to the business plan that has been made.

Abstract

Desa Lara sebagai salah satu desa di Kecamatan Baebunta Selatan Kabupaten Luwu Utara. Menerapkan pengelolaan sampah dengan pola 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), yang memberikan manfaat secara ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan pada masyarakat. Disamping berperan mereduksi volume sampah ke Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir (TPA). Namun kegiatan ini masih menghadapi masalah, yaitu perlunya optimalisasi pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab kurangnya optimalisasi pengelolaan sampah tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif-deskriptif, pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi yang dilakukan, sebagian besar masyarakat masih kurang peduli tentang pentingnya kebersihan lingkungan. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya edukasi dan terbatasnya sosialisasi terkait proyek pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat. Perbaikan fasilitas dan peningkatan keterlibatan tokoh masyarakat dalam mensosialisasikan dan memfasilitasi pelaksanaan program adalah dua hal yang perlu dilakukan. Usaha meningkatkan manfaat sampah secara ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan kepada masyarakat perlu dilanjutkan agar optimalisasi pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat dapat tercapai akibat peran serta masyarakat secara aktif Lara Village as one of the villages in Baebunta Selatan Sub District on Luwu Utara Region. Waste management with the 3R pattern (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), provides economic, social, and environmental benefits, in addition to playing a role in reducing the volume of waste to Final Disposal Sites (TPA). However, this activity still faces problems, namely the need to optimize community-based waste management. This study aims to analyze the factors causing the lack of optimization of waste management. This type of research is qualitative-descriptive, research data collection is carried out using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Based on interviews and observations made, most of the community still does not care about the importance of environmental cleanliness. This is influenced by the lack of education and limited socialization related to community-based waste management projects. Improvement of facilities and increasing involvement of community leaders in socializing and facilitating program implementation are two things that need to be done. Efforts to increase the benefits of waste economically, socially and environmentally to the community need to be continued so that the optimization of community-based waste management can be achieved due to active community participation
