Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cultural characteristics, commitment, and organizational communication on the performance of employees of the Independent Cendekia Insan Educational Institution. The analytical tool used is tabulating the questionnaire, collecting data in the form of validity testing and reliability testing. The hypotheses in this study were tested using classical assumption analysis, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination (R2), partial correlation coefficient, t test, F test and test using SPSS software for Windows version 18. The results of this study resulted in several conclusions, namely: ( 1) There is a simultaneous influence of organizational culture characteristics, Commitment, and Communication on employee performance (2) There is a partial influence of organizational culture, Commitment, and Communication characteristics on managerial performance (3) Among the characteristics of organizational culture, Commitment, and Communication, cultural characteristics organization has the most significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style on employee performance, the effect of work motivation on employee performance, the effect of loyalty on employee performance, and the simultaneous influence of leadership style, work motivation, and loyalty on employee performance at Alfamart Buduran branch. This research is a type of quantitative research. The population used is all Alfamart employees, totaling 40 employees. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was classical assumption test, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. This study concludes that leadership style has an effect and is significant on employee performance, while work motivation has no effect and is not significant on employee performance, and loyalty has an effect on employee performance. And simultaneously Leadership Style, Work Motivation and Loyalty affect the Employee Performance of Alfamart Buduran branch.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of leadership, supervision and work motivation on work effectiveness with work discipline as an intervening variable at UD. Ridzil Jaya Utama. The research uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were all UD employees. Ridzil Jaya Utama with a total of 60 people. Collecting data in this study in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique was carried out using path analysis using partial hypothesis testing, simultaneous testing, multiple correlation coefficient tests and multiple determination coefficients. The results showed that: 1) Leadership had an effect on work effectiveness, 2) Leadership had an effect on work effectiveness with work discipline as an intervening variable, 3) Supervision had an effect on work effectiveness with work discipline as an intervening variable, 4) Supervision had an effect on work effectiveness with discipline. work as an intervening variable, 5) work motivation affects work effectiveness, 6) motivation affects work effectiveness with work discipline as an intervening variable, and 7) work discipline affects work effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate how workload, physical work environment, and work conflict affect job satisfaction, with job stress as a moderating variable, among bus crew employees at PO Pratama Putra. The research design used was quantitative, with a population of 52 employees and a non-probability sampling technique called saturated sampling. Smart PLS 3.2.8 software was used for data analysis. The results showed that workload and physical work environment did not have a significant effect on job satisfaction, while work conflict had a significant effect. However, workload and physical work environment did not have a significant effect on job satisfaction through job stress as a moderating variable, but work conflict did. Furthermore, job stress had a significant effect on job satisfaction. The implications of this study are that employers should prioritize conflict management strategies to enhance job satisfaction, and employees should focus on managing job stress to improve their job satisfaction. Highlights: Work conflict had a significant effect on job satisfaction among bus crew employees, highlighting the importance of conflict management strategies in the workplace. Job stress was found to have a significant effect on job satisfaction, emphasizing the need for employees to focus on managing their stress levels to improve their overall job satisfaction. Workload and physical work environment were not significant predictors of job satisfaction, indicating that employers may need to focus on other factors to improve their employees' job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of information technology use, innovative behavior, and motivation on employee performance at PT KAI Daop 8 Surabaya. Using quantitative methods, a sample of 103 employees was selected from a population of 159 through simple random sampling. Data were collected via structured questionnaires. Results indicate that information technology use, innovative behavior, and motivation each significantly enhance employee performance, with motivation being the most influential factor. These findings suggest that investing in technology, fostering innovation, and boosting motivation are key strategies for improving employee performance at PT KAI Daop 8 Surabaya. Highlight: Sample: 103 employees selected through simple random sampling. Significant Factors: Technology, innovation, and motivation improve performance. Abstract

This study examines the impact of job involvement, perceived organizational support, and competency on job satisfaction and employee performance among 165 employees of PT. Harapan Sejahtera Karya Utama. Using questionnaires and path analysis with SPSS version 24, the research found that job involvement, organizational support, and competency positively affect employee performance directly and indirectly through job satisfaction. The study suggests organizations enhance job involvement, provide better supervisor support, offer training to improve competencies, and regularly evaluate salaries and reward systems to boost job satisfaction and performance. Highligt: Direct Impact: Job involvement, support, and competency enhance employee performance. Mediating Role: Job satisfaction mediates the factors' effects on performance. Abstract

This study explores the impact of leadership, compensation, and organizational culture on employee productivity at PT. Romi Violeta in Sidoarjo, East Java. Using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis via SPSS version 25, data from 95 randomly sampled employees were analyzed. The results indicate that while leadership does not significantly affect productivity, compensation and organizational culture positively and significantly do. Additionally, these variables collectively enhance employee productivity, with compensation being the most influential. These findings suggest that improving compensation and fostering a strong organizational culture are crucial for boosting productivity. Highlight: Leadership does not significantly impact employee productivity. Compensation and organizational culture positively affect productivity. Abstract

Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (HRM) adalah komponen kunci dalam setiap organisasi yang bertujuan untuk mencapai produktivitas tinggi dan keunggulan bersaing. Dalam era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang efektif menjadi semakin penting. Artikel ilmiah ini membahas konsep pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dalam bekerja. Kami akan menguraikan peran HRM dalam pencapaian tujuan organisasi, menjelaskan berbagai aspek pengembangan HRM, serta menguraikan manfaatnya terhadap produktivitas dan kinerja organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan wawancara dan kusioner sebanyak 57 koresponden. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa mayoritas responden (skor 5) sangat mendukung penggunaan Reward dan Crowdfunding sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan produktivitas di PT Swadharma Sarana Informatika, sementara pandangan mereka tentang penggunaan Punishment cenderung bervariasi (skor 3), memerlukan pendekatan yang hati-hati dalam implementasinya. Program manajemen sumber daya manusia dengan pendekatan Reward, Punishment, dan Crowdfunding di PT Swadharma Sarana Informatika berhasil meningkatkan kenyamanan bekerja, komunikasi, kinerja, dan produktivitas karyawan. Abstract

The background of this research is the decrease in employee job satisfaction due to a mismatch of compensation obtained with what has been done. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture, education level, and compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT. Indonesia Post Office Surabaya This research uses quantitative research by testing the hypothesis. The analytical tool used is a questionnaire. The population in this study were 300 employees of PT. Indonesia Post Office Surabaya. The sample in this study was 75 respondents. The analytical tool in this study uses the SPSS application. The results show that (1) Organizational Culture has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. (2) Education level has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction. (3) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (4) Organizational Culture, Education Level and Compensation have a significant effect simultaneously on Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of skills, work experience, and education level on employee performance at the Fifa Jaya Leather SME bag in Kedensari Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency and to determine the skills, work experience, and level of education simultaneously affect employee performance at Fifa Jaya Leather bag UKM in Kedensari. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The total population and sample in this study were 47 employees using a saturated sample where the entire population was sampled. The data obtained using a questionnaire with testing using various instruments measured using the SPSS version 22 software application. The results of this study indicate that skills have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work experience has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. And the level of education has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously skills, work experience, and education level have a significant effect.
