Abstract

This study aims to examine the toponyms located in Pasaman and Tanah Datar Regencies based on the Tambo Tuanku Imam Bonjol Manuscript. This manuscript is an authentic historical record of important events in Minangkabau, particularly during the Padri War. The focus of this study is to identify toponyms in Pasaman and Tanah Datar Regencies based on their geographical location and their connection to archaeological remains. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, which includes data collection, data processing (analysis), interpretation, and drawing conclusions from the issues. The theory used refers to Agus Aris Munandar's theory, which is divided into three aspects: 1) The meaning of the place name, 2) The current existence of the location, 3) The role of contemporary culture. The results of the study indicate that there are 43 toponyms in Pasaman Regency and 11 toponyms in Tanah Datar Regency. Out of the 54 toponyms, only 9 were selected as the focus of the study. These toponyms are still in use today and are associated with the figure of Tuanku Imam Bonjol and the Padri War. This is also supported by contemporary archaeological remains in the areas mentioned in the manuscripts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi media sosial terhadap perubahan kepribadian di kalangan Generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional yang melibatkan 500 responden. Dimensi kepribadian diukur menggunakan Big Five Personality Test (BFPT), dan data dikumpulkan melalui survei online yang mencakup durasi penggunaan dan jenis konten yang dikonsumsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa durasi penggunaan media sosial yang lebih lama berhubungan dengan peningkatan Neurotisisme dan penurunan Ekstraversi, serta penurunan Kewaspadaan. Jenis konten yang berfokus pada citra diri dan standar sosial yang tinggi memiliki dampak negatif terhadap kepribadian, sementara konsumsi konten edukatif cenderung meningkatkan Keterbukaan. Platform media sosial yang lebih visual seperti Instagram dan TikTok memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan platform berbasis teks seperti Twitter dan Facebook. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting tentang pengaruh media sosial terhadap kesehatan mental dan perkembangan kepribadian, serta perlunya intervensi untuk mengurangi dampak negatif pada Generasi Z.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of climate change mitigation strategies and media exposure on the publication of sustainability reports in mineral mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual reports, sustainability reports, and official company websites. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to test both partial and simultaneous effects. The results are expected to provide insight into the role of climate change mitigation strategies and media exposure in enhancing sustainability report publication among mineral mining companies in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the associative effect of solvency ratios and operational cost efficiency on the profitability of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) during the 2018–2023 period. A quantitative approach using multiple linear regression was applied, with secondary data obtained from the company’s annual financial reports published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The independent variables include solvency ratios (measured by Debt to Equity Ratio/DER and Debt to Asset. Ratio/DAR) and operational cost efficiency (measured by Operating Expense Ratio/OER), while the dependent variable is profitability (measured by Return on Assets/ROA).The results indicate that solvency ratios have a significant negative effect on profitability (regression coefficients: DER: -0.245, p<0.05; DAR: -0.312, p<0.01), whereas operational cost efficiency has a significant positive effect (OER coefficient: 0.418, p<0.01). Simultaneously, both independent variables explain 72.5% of the variation in profitability (R² = 0.725).These findings imply that prudent debt management and optimization of operational costs are crucial for improving PGAS profitability amid global gas price fluctuations. Recommendations include diversifying financial strategies and enhancing supply chain efficiency to ensure sustainable financial performance.
