Abstract

The phenomenon of the shackles of people with mental disorders is still common in society. The rights of people with mental disorders are still often ignored. People with mental disorders need the support of a caregiver to live a normal life as usual. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause shackles for people with mental disorders and forms of caregiver support to restore the health of people with mental disorders. The research location is in the Bima district. The type of research used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Collecting data using in-depth interviews and participatory observation. Informants in this study are caregivers who treat people with mental disorders. The results showed that the cause of being shackled was because people with mental disorders often roamed around, often resorted to violence, often did the damage, and often carried sharp weapons. The purpose of the shackles is to keep the person with the disorder safe and others around him. Caregiver support in restoring the health of people with mental disorders has not been maximized. Caregiver only feeds and drinks. No medical action is taken to restore the mental health of people with mental disorders. Most of the actions still use the traditional approach, which is taken to a shaman or psychic.

Abstract

Background: Age is considered important because it determines the prognosis in childbirth, because it can cause pain (complications) for both mother and fetus. Pregnancy At the age of less than 20 years will be easier to experience complications, in the age group over 35 years is 3 times higher than the healthy reproductive age group (20-35 years). Methods: This research design is a cross sectional study. The population of this study were all mothers who gave birth at the Patut Patuh Patju Hospital, West Lombok for the period of January 1 to June 30 in 2020 as many as 2,503 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, with a total sample of 345 people. Data analysis using Chi Square analysis.Results: The age of the mother who gave birth at the Patut Patuh Patju Hospital, West Lombok, was mostly of healthy reproductive age, ie 20-35 years by 72.8%. The type of delivery in the mothers who gave birth at the Patut Patuh Patju Hospital, West Lombok, the majority of mothers who gave birth normally, amounted to 60.6%. The results of the analysis obtained that the value of X2count is smaller than X2tabe1 (2.360<5.591) and the p-value of 0.307 The contingency coefficient (t) is 0.08. Conclusion: There is no relationship between maternal age and type of delivery in mothers who give birth at Patut Patuh Patju Hospital, West Lombok for the period January 1 to June 30 2016..

Abstract

The increasing visits of patients from outside the area to Terara Public Health Center constitute a phenomenon of growing significance within the context of healthcare provision in the region. This necessitates an understanding of the impact of these external patient visits on healthcare service delivery at Terara Public Health Center, encompassing aspects such as resource availability, operational efficiency, and service management. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the management perspective regarding the influence of external patient visits on healthcare provision at Terara Public Health Center. This research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection takes the form of words or images, thus not focusing on numerical data. The intention of this study is to provide an overview, elucidate, and interpret the current situation regarding the impact of external visits on healthcare services at Terara Public Health Center from a service management perspective. This research was conducted at Terara Public Health Center. The findings indicate that the high influx of patients from outside the area to Terara Public Health Center has a significant impact on service management, including increased patient queues, maintenance costs of medical equipment, availability of medications, and the need for more adequate facilities and infrastructure. Management at Terara Public Health Center has taken steps to address these impacts, such as increasing the procurement of medications and enhancing facilities and infrastructure.
