Abstract

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) is a key government body in Indonesia that oversees the insurance sector and all other financial service providers by creating a unified regulatory and supervisory framework. The OJK has the authority to initiate insolvency actions against insurance businesses as part of its insurance sector regulation. Insuring policyholders' interests is the primary goal of these procedures. The purpose of this research is to examine how the OJK protects policyholders' rights when insurance firms declare bankruptcy. In order to provide a thorough analysis and in-depth understanding of the topic, the study employs a qualitative, descriptive-analytical methodology. The study employs secondary data, which encompasses both primary and secondary legal sources, in line with the normative legal research technique. The findings indicate that the OJK's efforts to provide legal protection for policyholders, particularly in cases of insurance claim rejections, are guided by key principles such as transparency, fair treatment, justice, confidentiality, data security, and effective complaint handling. The OJK's role in legal protection encompasses both preventive and repressive measures. Preventive actions include regulation, supervision, guidance, socialization, and complaint services, while repressive measures involve litigation, non-litigation resolution, and the imposition of administrative sanctions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan adopsi e-banking di masyarakat pedesaan, khususnya di wilayah Batang Kuis. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa keuntungan dan keamanan yang dirasakan merupakan faktor dominan yang mendorong adopsi e-banking di kalangan masyarakat pedesaan di Batang Kuis. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur yang ada dengan menyelaraskan dengan Teori Utilitas, yang menyatakan bahwa manfaat yang dirasakan dan manfaat aktual merupakan pendorong utama adopsi teknologi individu. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan ini, studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan langkah-langkah keamanan, peningkatan literasi keuangan melalui program-program pendidikan, dan peningkatan infrastruktur di daerah pedesaan untuk mendorong adopsi e-banking yang lebih besar. Hal ini memerlukan kolaborasi antara lembaga keuangan dan lembaga pemerintah. Namun, penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan, termasuk ukuran sampel yang terbatas dan cakupan variabel yang terbatas. Penelitian di masa mendatang dapat memperluas sampel dan menggabungkan rentang variabel yang lebih luas untuk pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang adopsi e-banking di lingkungan pedesaan.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the determinants that affect decision-making processes among MSMEs in choosing a source of financing, both from formal institutions such as banks and non-formal institutions such as cooperatives and individual loans. The result is based on the research conducted, MSMEs’ decisions in selecting sources of business capital financing are more influenced by factors such as ease of access, speed of disbursement, and low administrative requirements than by rational considerations regarding profit margins. Although non-bank financial institutions such as cooperatives, fintech lending, and community loans offer higher profit margins, MSMEs still tend to choose them due to the simpler and less bureaucratic application process. This indicates that MSMEs’ decisions are pragmatic, prioritizing immediate benefits in business operations over long-term cost efficiency. This finding aligns with decision theory and pecking order theory, where business actors choose the most accessible financing option first, even though it carries greater risk.

Abstract

Technology has made life more comfortable and efficient for people today. The use of QRIS and other innovative payment systems is influenced by technological developments in all areas, including the banking industry. One of the technological advancements that are in demand today is the use of QRIS as a non-financial payment mechanism. The use of QRIS has become one of the alternative payments in mosques in addition to being used for shopping payments. The Ar-Rahman Mosque is one of the mosques that uses QRIS to raise funds for infacts. This research is intended to study the variables that affect the decision of the Mosque of Ar-Rahman to inflate using QRIS.Ketua BKM Mosque and Jamaah Mosque Ar- Rahman became the main source of data in this research, which is carried out with qualitative descriptive methodology. Secondary data sources come from literature surveys. The percentage of Ar-Rahman Mosque jamaahs using QRIS is currently around 20%; however, as the BKM of the mosque continues to socialize, this number will probably continue to increase. Awareness of QRIS, the ease of using QRIS and the satisfaction of the QRIS users are factors that influence the decision of the Masjid Ar-Rahman to inflate through QRIS.

Abstract

Strategy is a unified, comprehensive and integrated plan that links the advantages of corporate strategy with environmental challenges and that is designed to ensure that the company's main objectives can be achieved through proper execution by the company.  The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply the leadership strategy of leaders in developing marketers to increase competitive advantage at PT. Prudential Sharia Binjai. And to find out the success rate of a leader or leader in developing marketers. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Research is written using descriptive where research related to questions through interviews with leaders in a company to obtain results by observing and managing data. The results of this study show the success or success of a leader or leader seen from several factors, namely, agents have increased income, achievement of contests, achievement of travel trips and achievement of MDRT. The strategy used by leaders to develop marketers to increase competitive advantage in the company is to use a communication strategy, where communication is a very important role in increasing competitiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and assess the impact of Halal Label on purchasing decisions, and the impact of the quality of production materials on purchasing decisions of Mochi produced by UMKM Mochi Chuwi Lingkungan III, Karya Jaya Village, Tebing Tinggi City, using a case study of the Tebing Tinggi City community. Quantitative techniques are applied in this study. The population in this study consists of the people of Tebing Tinggi City who usually shop at UMKM Mochi Chuwi Lingkungan III, Karya Jaya Village, Tebing Tinggi City, totaling 133 buyers per day, using the Slovin formula, a sample of 100 people was taken. In this study, data was collected through the use of questionnaires. Normality tests, validity tests, reliability tests, multiple regression tests, hypothesis tests (t-test and F-test), and coefficients of determination were all used in the data analysis approach of this study, which also included a literature review. Halal labels have a major impact on purchasing decisions. The quality of product materials has a major impact on purchasing decisions. Halal labels and the quality of production materials both have a major impact on purchasing decisions of Mochi produced by UMKM Mochi Chuwi Lingkungan III, Karya Jaya Village, Tebing Tinggi City.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key element in increasing the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), especially in the halal culinary sector, which faces challenges adapting to technology and digital market dynamics. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital transformation in the Makcik Cam MSME, to understand its impact on increasing competitiveness and the strategies implemented in facing the challenges of digitalization. Using a qualitative approach with a strategic case study on the Digital Transformation of Halal Food, data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the business. This study used inductive thematic analysis. The results show that the digitalization process is carried out gradually through the use of social media, online platforms, and social network-based promotions. However, limited digital literacy, technological infrastructure, and marketing data management are key challenges. This research demonstrates that halal values ​​are appropriate because they ensure that the entire production, distribution, and marketing processes of a product or service meet halal standards established by Islamic law and provide added value to consumers and businesses. This study provides theoretical contributions in developing the concept of locally-based digital transformation and halal values, and offers effectiveness for halal culinary MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) continues to strengthen the people's economy by empowering MSME customers fostered by PNM Mekaar. Financing provided by PNM Mekaar is distributed in groups from the beginning, agreed upon by each member. This research was conducted at Medan City. This research was conducted to determine and analyze the implementation of the joint liability financing system on customers, the socio-economic impacts experienced by customers related to the implementation of the joint liability financing system, as well as the perspective of Islamic economics on the impact of the joint liability financing system on PNM Mekaar Medan City customers. The approach in this research applies descriptive qualitative research using primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study show that: 1). The implementation of the joint liability financing system on PNM Mekaar Medan City customers shows that this mechanism does not only function as a financial instrument, but also as a means of strengthening solidarity, togetherness and collective responsibility among group members. 2). The socio-economic impacts experienced by customers related to the implementation of the PNM Mekaar Medan City joint financing system show the benefits and challenges directly felt by group members. This system has been proven to encourage increased business capital, increased income and improved family economic conditions through the sustainability of more stable micro-business activities. In addition, the group-based mechanism is able to strengthen solidarity, togetherness, discipline and collective responsibility among members, as well as open up opportunities for business independence that were previously difficult to achieve. 3). The Islamic economic perspective on the impact of the joint financing system on PNM Mekaar Medan City customers can be seen as aligned with Islamic principles because it emphasizes the values of justice, togetherness, transparency of contracts, prohibition of usury, freedom from coercion and the application of the principle of ta'?wun (mutual assistance).

Abstract

UMKM memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, termasuk dalam sektor fashion muslimdi kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara yang terus berkembang. Di era digital, penggunaan media sosial menjadi strategis dalam meningkatkan eksistensi dan keberlanjutan usaha. Media sosial seperti Instagram, Facebook, dan WhatsApp tidak hanya digunakan untuk pemasaran tetapi juga untuk membangun hubungan dengan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi media sosial terhadap keberlanjutan usaha dengan pendapatan sebagai variabel intervening. Studi kasus dilakukan pada UMKM fashion Muslim di Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan, yang pada gilirannya berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan usaha. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi para pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan media sosial untuk meningkatkan kinerja bisnis mereka.

Abstract

Profitability is a company's expertise in generating margins or profits as long as the company operates. Financing at Bank Sumut Syariah can be considered as one of the driving factors for increasing the profitability of a bank. It's just that the financing contained in Bank Sumut Syariah does not fully affect profitability, but other factors that most affect the profitability of the bank. The purpose of this research is to show whether Operational Costs (X1), Profit Sharing of Third Party Funds (X2) and also Cash Ratio (X3) have an influence on profits or profit (Y) with Murabahah Financing (Z) as a moderating variables. For this reason, the researchers here used the SEM analysis research method and Bootstrapping using SMARTPLS with secondary data and the nature of the quantitative research used in testing the data that had been obtained at Bank Sumut Syariah. In this study, the results obtained were that the variables BOPO (X1), DPK (X2), CR (X3) and also Murabahah Financing (Z) did not have a relevant impact on Profitability (Y) of PT Bank Sumut Syariah which had been processed and conclusions drawn from several tests that have been carried out. Then it was also obtained from the research that the Murabahah Financing itself weakened the relationship between DPK and ROA. And also Murabaha financing weakens the relationship between CR and ROA. However, Murabahah Financing strengthens the relationship between BOPO and ROA. So it can be said that Murabahah Financing moderates the effect of BOPO on ROA. However, Murabahah Financing cannot moderate the effect of TPF on ROA nor can it moderate the effect of CR on ROA.
