Abstract

One of the cultural heritages in West Nusa Tenggara, especially Lombok, is takepan (ancient lontar manuscripts). Takepan written on Lontar leaf sheets (Duntan leaf in Sasak language) is known as the jejawan script (derived from ancient Javanese language). According to [1] in his research on image segmentation of Javanese script, the adaptive thresholding value was obtained based on the variation in the sensitivity of each local windows. The process of determining the thresholding value works on blocks in the image. Images that have high contrast and high lighting variations are very difficult to classify as background or foreground because there are a lot of pixels, you should use Local Adaptive Thresholding. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that adaptive thresholding and morphology with dilation approach really help maximize image readability with the highest Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) value reaching 34,107 dBDOI : 10.29408/jit.v3i2.2304

Abstract

The online Lontar (Takepan) Sasak manuscripts currently available are not sufficient to be a reference for those who want to learn Sangsekerta because of the limited contribution and stagnation of their contributions. On the other hand, active speakers of Lontar (Takepan) Sasak manuscripts exposed to the internet are available in sufficient quantities. The wisdom of crowds-based crowdsourcing mechanism is expected to be a solution to the problem. This paper presents a draft framework of the Sasak Lontar (Takepan) online crowdsourcing dictionary system. Abstract

The development of the world's technology is growing rapidly, especially in the field of health in the form of detection tools of various objects, including disease objects. The technology in point is part of artificial intelligence that is able to recognize a set of imagery and classify automatically with deep learning techniques. One of the deep learning networks widely used is convolutional neural network with computer vision technology. One of the problems with computer vision that is still developing is object detection as a useful technology to recognize objects in the image as if humans knew the object of the image. In this case, a computer machine is trained in learning using artificial neural networks. One of the sub types of artificial neural networks that are able to handle computer vision problems is by using deep learning techniques with convolutional neural network algorithms. The purpose of this research is to find out how to design the system, the network architecture used for COVID-19 infection detection. The system cannot perform detection of other objects. The results of COVID-19 infection detection with convolutional neural network algorithm show unlimited accuracy value that ranges from 60-99%

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi merupakan kelanjutan pendidikan menengah yang diselenggarakan untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik untuk memiliki kemampuan akademis dan profesional yang dapat menerapkan, mengembangkan dan menciptakan IPTEK. Melihat fenomena seperti itu membuat banyak perguruan tinggi dari berbagai penjuru di indonesia berlomba untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan berbagai macam cara, salah satunya adalah dengan menawarkan program pendidikan yang memiliki kompetensi di dunia kerja. Fakultas Teknik Universitas Hamzanwadi merupakan salah satu Universitas Swasta yang bernaung dibawah Yayasan Pendidikan Darul Nahdlaitain NW Pancor Lombok Timur Nusa Tenggara Barat yang dari awal berdiri berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan kualitas masyarakat dengan memberikan pilihan program pendidikan yang kompeten di bidangnya, yang tentunya dipersiapkan untuk dunia kerja. Fakultas Teknik Universitas Hamzanwadi telah memiliki lulusan yang tersebar di Nusa Tenggara Barat ataupun di kota-kota lain dengan berbagai bidang pekerjaan yang beragam. Jumlah pekerjaan yang beragam dan sulitnya mencari lowongan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan kompetensi keahlian sehingga menjadi suatu permasalahan yang harus segera dipecahkan oleh para pimpinan Perguruan Tinggi. Oleh karena itu perlu dibangunnya sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat mengumpulkan data pengelola serta menyajikan data secara akurat dari para alumni yang ada. Maka dari itu peneliti berinisiatif melakukan suatu terobosan dengan melakukan penelitian yang berhubungan dengan kualitas kompetensi lulusan dengan kesesuaian lowongan pekerjaan yang ada saat ini. Tracer Study merupakan suatu bentuk penelitian mengenai situasi alumni khususnya dalam hal pencarian kerja, situasi kerja, dan pemanfaatan pemerolehan kompetensi selama kuliah di perguruan tinggi. Tracer Study tidaklah terbatas pada Perguruan Tinggi saja, tetapi  lebih jauh lagi dapat memberikan informasi penting mengenai hubungan (link) antara dunia Pendidikan Tinggi dengan dunia kerja. Abstract

Exams based on the Big Indonesian Dictionary can mean something that is used to test the quality of something (intelligence, ability, learning outcomes, etc.). In addition to being carried out in writing and orally, the exam can also be carried out using computer aids. The purpose of the examination is aimed at assessing the achievement of graduate competency standards for all subjects. Exams are carried out according to the curriculum used by the education unit, and can be carried out in even and/or odd semesters by each education unit. If the exam using a computer is carried out in a computer network, be it an intranet or the internet, it can be categorized as an online exam. In the form of the research method used is in the form of engineering research which in preparation is carried out in the form of a plan, design, or the results of the development of a system or product model. In the research, the process of software engineering for online exam applications based on client server was carried out. The outputs of this research are needs analysis, application design and implementation in the online exam.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a method of planting without using soil media by utilizing water. The problem occurs when the farmer cannot control the water used in hydroponic. Therefore, we need a system to monitor the amount of water used in the hydroponic planting system. This service activity aims to develop and implement a hydroponic monitoring system based on IoT. This activity was carried out by students, followed by several accompanying lecturers. It aims to assist partners in measuring water content, temperature, and water pH in hydroponic plants. One of the business unit partners for this activity is SMEs engaged in hydroponic agricultural cultivation at the Science Technology & Industrial Park (STIPARK) NTB. This community service activity was held for four months. From the process of analyzing partner problems, they were testing the STIPARK management and hydroponic SME business partners and the community who later needed a hydroponic monitoring system based on the Internet of Things so that information could be received in real-time. This product can help hydroponic SME business partners know the level of water levels or nutrients, monitoring water temperature and water pH to help farmers increase crop yields from hydroponic cultivation

Abstract

Nurul Haramain NWDI is a boarding school founded by TGKH. Djuaini Muchtar (late) in 1991, which is located in Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. Santri do not only come from the islands of Lombok or West Nusa Tenggara, but also come from various regions in Indonesia, as the years go on, more and more students enter Islamic boarding schools and of course, every year there are always students who finish their education. The lack of information about alumni that is published every year makes it difficult for students and the outside community to get information. Alumni are an important part of an educational institution, so to overcome this problem, an alumni information system is needed, to make it easier to get to know each other. Based on the results of the research that has been done by the author in the form of an information system for alumni of the Nurul Haramain Islamic Boarding School NWDI Narmada web-based, where in building this system used system development tools in the form of software used, such as data flow diagrams (DFD), PHP, which is a programming language. and My SQL for the database.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping, and Sharing) model on students' higher order thinking skills. This type of research is a quasi experimental. The population in this study were students of class XI MIA program at SMA Negeri 1 Sigli, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Class XI MIA 2 as the experimental class and class XI MIA 3 as the control class, this research was conducted with the material temperature and heat. The instrument given to measure students' higher-order thinking skills was tested in the form of an essay totaling 8 questions. The independent t-test was used to determine the difference in students' higher-order thinking skills between using the RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping, and Sharing) model with the conventional model. From the results of the research analysis, it is stated that there are differences in higher order thinking skills between students who are treated using the RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping, and Sharing) model and students who are not given treatment or use conventional models. This is evident from the obtained sig value of 0.000, which means the sig value <0.05, it can be concluded that learning Physics using the RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping, and Sharing) model is quite effective on students' higher-order thinking skills. The effectiveness of the RMS model can also be seen in the effect size test which obtains a value of 2.07 which is included in the high category. It can be interpreted that the RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping, and Sharing) model has a high enough effect on the high-level thinking skills of class XI students of the MIA program at SMA Negeri 1 Sigli in the field of physics subjects.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, SMA Negeri 3 Selong changed learning activities from what was originally face-to-face, but currently learning is being transferred to the Online Learning System (SPADA) using several existing platforms. Judging from the level of plurality of students' thinking patterns during the implementation of online learning there are many problems that arise, one of which is the instability of the internet network, the various hendpone media devices owned by students and the lack of student knowledge in using online platforms. The purpose of this study was to determine the indicator of the problem in the predicate of student learning completeness of class XII SMAN 3 Selong during the post-COVID-19 pandemic. The method used to solve this problem is the Naïve Bayes algorithm. Naive Bayes is a method of probabilistic reasoning. And in the future the results of this study are expected to be able to provide the right solution in solving problems in online learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negri 3 Selong and became the focus of students in class XI IPA and Social Studies. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. This study aims to describe the extent to which the level of completeness of students during post-covid-19 pandemic learning with online media. This study uses a classification algorithm that functions to find a model that distinguishes data classes or data concepts, with the specific objective of determining the class of unknown object labels. The method used is the PSO-based Naïve Bayes and Naïve Bayes Comparison Algorithms. The results of this study indicate that the use of online media during online learning using the naïve Bayes algorithm is 83.91%, and the PSO-based naïve Bayes algorithm is 91.98%, from the experimental results and testing of the two algorithms, the results of the confusion matrix and AUC testing can be obtained which can be determined the best accuracy value is the PSO-based Naïve Bayes algorithm. As for the comparison of the results in the form of an accuracy value obtained by the Naïve Bayes Algorithm of 83.91% and the PSO-Based Naïve Bayes Algorithm of 91.98% and the difference in the level of accuracy of 8.07%, so it can be concluded that the algorithm that is suitable for classifying student learning completeness during the covid 19 pandemic is Naive Bayes based on particle swarm optimization.
