Abstract

This research is based on the mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students which are still low in terms of student learning outcomes. The current study reveals that as many as 66.67% of students have not been able to achieve the minimum requirements, especially in the section of geometry; reflecting a need to improve mathematics learning outcomes. This gap in learning outcome is due to the fact that a majority of students tended to be passive during learning. The STAD learning model is a learning model that emphasizes student activities and interactions for learning mathematics in the classroom. The research design used in this study is a one group pretest posttest design. The sampling method used in the study was purposive sampling from a class of thirty elementary school students with issues related to mathematical abilities. Data collection techniques consist of primary sources in the form of tests, interviews, and observations, while secondary sources include documentation and literature studies. The data analysis technique used is the t-test (or using the Wilcoxon test if the data is not normally distributed), and the Gain Test. The results showed that there is a positive influence of STAD model on learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory (TeFa)  dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran fisika. Pembelajaran fisika di sekolah masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang cenderung berpusat pada guru. Pengelolaan KIT di sekolah yang kurang optimal juga menjadi salah satu faktor yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory ini, diharapkan pembelajaran fisika dapat lebih melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam pembelajaran, juga dapat menjadi alternatif solusi untuk masalah rendahnya optimalisasi KIT yang ada di sekolah. Sehingga pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran fisika, juga dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran fisika yang meliputi hasil belajar meningkat baik pada Domain proses, Domain kreativitas dan Domain sikap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-DKV sebanyak 31 siswa sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan X-DPIB sebagai kelas Kontrol sebanyak 30 siswa di salah satu SMK Negeri 1 Buer di kabupaten Sumbawa semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 . Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada domain pengetahuan/knowledge domain diketahui dengan menghitung skor pretes dan postes. Perolehan rata-rata N-gain Score untuk pengetahuan adalah sebesar 64,36 % dengan kategori Cukup Efektif. Sedangkan profil hasil belajar siswa pada domain proses sains/process of science domain dengan rata-rata IPK sebesar 77,26 % dengan kategori terampil, profil hasil belajar pada domain kreativitas/creativity domain dengan rata-rata IPK sebesar 81,44 % dengan kategori terampil, dan profil hasil belajar pada domain sikap/attitudinal domain dengan rata-rata IPK sebesar 81,67 % dengan kategori baik.. Kata kunci: materi energy dan perubahan; model pembelajaran Teaching Factory. ABSTRACTThe research on the application of the Teaching Factory (TeFa) learning model in physics learning to improve student learning outcomes is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in physics subjects.Physics learning in schools still uses conventional methods that tend to be teacher-centered. The management of KIT in schools that is less than optimal is also one of the factors behind this research. Through the application of the Teaching Factory learning model, it is hoped that physics learning can involve students more actively in learning, and can also be an alternative solution to the problem of the low optimization of KIT in schools. So that in the end it can improve student learning outcomes in physics lessons, can also achieve physics learning goals which include increased learning outcomes both in the process domain, creativity domain and attitude domain. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a research design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.The subjects of this study were 31 students in class X-DKV as Experiment class and X-DPIB as control class as many as 30 students at one Buer State Vocational School in Sumbawa district in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The increase in student learning outcomes in the knowledge domain is known by calculating the pretest and posttest scores. The average N-gain score for knowledge is 64.36% with the category of Quite Effective. While the profile of student learning outcomes in the domain of the process of science / process of science domain with an average GPA of 77.26% in the skilled category, the profile of learning outcomes in the domain of creativity / creativity domain with an average GPA of 81.44% in the skilled category , and the profile of learning outcomes in the attitude domain/attitudinal domain with an average GPA of 81.67 % with a good category. Keywords: energy and change material; Teaching Factory learning model.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi di beberapa titik jalan Dusun yang ada didesa Bencoyterdapat beberapa kerusakan jalan yang perlu diperbaiki dan dibutuhkan beberapa plakat atau papan penunjuk jalan keluar masuk desa, plakat petunjuk kantor dan kediaman RT/RW, serta kelurahan serta papan petunjuk tempat ibadah dan fasilitas umum lainnya, plakat batas kecepatan pengendara jalan, dan peta atau denah desa perlu juga dibuat untuk mempermudah warga pendatang ketika masuk ke Desa Bencoy. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dimulai dengan mengadakan survey lapangan atau tempat-tempat yang akan dipasang papan petunjuk. Setelah menemukan lokasi yang akan dipasang papan maka langkah selanjutnya adalah membuat plakat atau papan dengan membeli alat serta bahan yang diperlukan. Setelah selesai pembuatan plakat maka dilanjutkan dengan pengecatan yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemasangan plakat yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dibantu oleh masyarakat setempat. Papan atau plakat dibuat berjumlah 4 buah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Bencoy Kecamatan Cireunghas di 4 dusun yakni Dusun Cilubang, Dusun Cikaso, Dusun Limbangan, dan Dusun Cireunghas ini terlaksana dengan baik atas dukungan dan bantuan warga desa karena hal ini menyangkut kepentingan orang banyak. Tidak ada hambatan yang cukup berarti dalam proses persiapan, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasi kegiatan ini hanya saja proses pengerjaannya membutuhkan waktu yang lumayan lama. Pembuatan dan pemasangan papan atau plakat penunjuk jalan ini adalah sebagai bentuk partisipasi, koordinasi dan keterlibatan aktif baik mahasiswa, dosen dan warga desa sekitar.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are one of the important aspects in the learning process because it is used as a determining factor for the success of a learning process. The factors that influence student learning outcomes are divided into two, namely internal factors (learning interests, talents, motivation, self-regulation, etc.) and external factors (school environment, family environment, etc.). Self-regulation and learning interest were the focus of discussion in this research. This study aims to determine the positive and significant influence between independence and interest in learning on mathematics learning outcomes for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 24 Muaro Jambi. This type of research is associative quantitative research. The results showed that partially independence had a positive but not significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes with tcount = 1,323 and correlation coefficient 0,202, while interest in learning had a positive and significant effect mathematics learning outcomes with tcount = 4,193 and correlation coefficient 0,548. Simultaneously, independence and interest in learning have a positive and significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 24 Muaro Jambi as shown by the Fcount = 41,196, with an effect of 66,8% and 33,2% influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Sangrawayang Village is one of the villages located in Sukabumi Regency and has a development direction as a tourist village, nowadays the development of the village into a tourist village is one alternative for local economic development. Sangrawayang village has many interesting natural resources, rich in Sundanese cultural values and religious culture which is the main focus of this research, and various historical places are found around it. In addition, Sangrawayang Village has excellent development potential when viewed from the geographical and accessibility aspects because this village is also an access road to the Geopark tourism destination area, Ciletuh. The purpose of this research is to analyze the tourism potentials that can be developed in Sangrawayang village, Sukabumi Regency. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach where primary data is obtained by conducting interviews with elders and managers as local communities and also direct observation. Meanwhile, secondary data were obtained from Sangrawayang Village, journals and also supporting books. The results obtained from this study are the discovery of the potential for the development of religious tourism, namely the Cibeas and Kwan-im cultural villages. Cibeas village is a cultural village that is thick with religious traditions such as: village celebration on 03 month 03 of 1993 which is held every year, Super Semar, and the existence of the Rabbi Mosque. Meanwhile, Kwan-im itself is a place of worship for Buddhism.

Abstract

Discovery learning merupakan metode yang sangat baik dalam menstimulus peningkatan daya nalar siswa dalam belajar, sehingga jurnal ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui lebih spesifik tentang mathematical reasoning, peningkatan hasil belajar, serta permasalahan yang di alami dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrument soal-soal yang berkaitan dengan proses mathematical reasoning. Proses pengumpulan data dan penarikan kesimpulan dilakukan dengan menggunakan data pre-test dan post-test kepada seluruh siswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Metode analisis data dilakukan menggunakan dua cara yaitu (1) Uji gain antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol untuk mendapatkan sampel yang representatif serta mengetahui selisih prestasi pembelajaran (2) Uji perbedaan dua rerata yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan discovery learning dan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode konvensional. Dari hasil pengujian dan analisis statistika yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa terdapat peningkatkan hasil belajar kemampuan mathematical reasoning siswa antara penggunaan discovery learning pada kelas eksperimen dan metode biasa pada kelas control.

Abstract

The metaverse, gaining attention especially in education, holds the potential to transform traditional teaching methods and improve educational outcomes by creating immersive learning environments. This study, focusing on integrating the metaverse into mathematics education at SMK Hasina in Sukabumi, Indonesia, reveals insights through a qualitative case study. Educators showed varied understanding levels influenced by interest and technological backgrounds. Acknowledging the metaverse's potential, educators affirm its ability to enhance interaction and accessibility in education. Recommendations propose extensive educator training and integration methods for the metaverse, emphasizing its promise in engaging students and reshaping teaching methodologies for diverse learning styles. While it promises dynamic learning experiences and global collaborations, comprehensive research is needed to understand its full potential and challenges. Educator education and broader involvement are vital for effective integration into educational settings, enhancing outcomes and inclusivity in learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for more media use in mathematics learning. One of the impacts of the lack of media on learning mathematics is learning outcomes that could be more optimal. The media that can be used is technology, namely learning media based on the Quizziz application. The population of this study was students of SDN Dewi Sartika CBM, with the sample used being class 5 A of 35 people. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. This study aims to determine how using the Quizziz application in learning mathematics affects student learning outcomes. The data collection techniques used were interviews, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis tests carried out in this study were the Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, T-test, and N-Gain Test. The results of the data analysis showed that the data values were normally distributed with an average Pre-Test score of 31.74 in the less category and an average Post-Test score of 66.37 in the less category. The results of the analysis of data testing through SPSS can be seen in the Coefficients value obtained by sig. 0.000. It turns out that the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05. It means that H0 is rejected. This shows that using the Quizizz application in learning mathematics affects student learning outcomes at SDN Dewi Sartika CBM, Sukabumi City. The N-Gain test results show that the mean value is 50.30% in the less effective category.

Abstract

The development of a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM)-based learning approach that is implemented with interdisciplinary knowledge has now been widely used in learning and research in mathematics education. However, the use of learning methods and their influence on 21st century skills has not been fully described. To answer these problems, research is to investigate and interpret data on the development and use of appropriate methods in the implementation of STEAM, in particular its impact on mathematics learning and 21st century skills. The author conducted a systematic literature review of published articles to produce a bibliometric review that combines quantitative descriptions of literature content and qualitative analysis of processes, outcomes, and conditions of mathematics learning using the STEAM approach from selected databases between 2012 and 2021. The results of the study used 35 articles from literature relevant to the research objectives. After conducting the analysis, it can be concluded that research related to STEAM, especially in the study of mathematics, has increased significantly in the last 5 years since 2016. From the aspect of 21st century skills, STEAM has a dominant influence in improving problem solving skills and creativity. However, the impact of collaborative and communication skills is still low. In terms of the use of learning methods, STEAM has a significant relationship with the project-based learning (PjBL) method. The results of this study can be used as confirmation material showing that STEAM and PjBL methods are an ideal combination in learning and can also be used as alternative approaches and learning methods to improve problem solving and creative abilities.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 telah mengganggu proses pembelajaran secara konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hambatan mengajar guru terhadap metode pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid-19 serta factor-factor penghambat guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring dan luring di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian metode kualitatif deskriptif, subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru sekolah dasar di SDN Ciabad. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah analisis hambatan mengajar guru terhadap metode pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid-19 SDN Ciabad. Pembelajaran yang biasanya dilaksanakan secara langsung kini dialihkan menjadi pembelajaran daring dan luring. Peserta didik merasa jenuh dan bosan selama melaksanakan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran daring dan luring yang dilakukan untuk anak usia sekolah dasar dirasa kurang efektif. Ada beberapa faktor pendukung guru dalam proses pembelajaran daring dan luring yaitu ketersediannya handphone, kuota dan jaringan internet yang stabil, selain adanya faktor yang mendukung dalam pembelajaran daring terdapat juga beberapa faktor penghambat guru dalam pembelajaran daring, faktor penghambat tersebut diantaranya adalah belum semua peserta didik memiliki handphone dan masih banyak orang tua sibuk bekerja. Example non examples mejadi salah satu hambatan bagi guru SDN Ciabad dalam melakukan pembelajaran pada saat pandemi covid-19.
