Abstract

Dalam proses belajar mengajar kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang kreatif. Hal ini menyebabkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran siswa hanya mendengarkan penjelasan yang disampaikan tanpa banyak terlibat dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas I. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I SDN 1 Cibatu yang berlokasi di Jalan Nasional 3 No. 316 Cibatu, kecamatan Cisaat kabupaten Sukabumi dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang dengan subjek sampel yang diambil adalah 26 siswa dari jumlah populasi. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah instrument tes dan non tes. Proses pengumpulan data dan penarikan kesimpulan dilakukan dengan menggunakan data pre-test dan post test kepada seluruh siswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Metode analisis data dilakukan menggunakan dua cara yaitu (1) Uji normalitas (2) Uji mann whitney.. Tindakan dinyatakan berhasil karena sampel mengalami peningkatan kemampuan menyelesaikan perhitungan. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan peningkatan kemampuan siswa pada pembelajaran menyelesaikan operasi menghitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat dikatakan bahwa : Terdapat dampak penggunaan sempoa antara lain melalui kegiatan permainan menggunakan media sempoa siswa akan merasa tertarik, siswa tidak akan merasa jenuh dan bosan. Sehingga melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran sempoa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa pada operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan

Abstract

Era digital telah membawa perubahan revolusioner dalam cara manusia memperoleh, menyebarkan, dan memvalidasi pengetahuan. Transformasi ini dipicu oleh perkembangan pesat teknologi informasi, termasuk internet, kecerdasan buatan, big data, dan media sosial, yang memungkinkan akses tanpa batas terhadap berbagai informasi. Namun, perubahan ini juga memunculkan tantangan epistemologis yang signifikan, terutama dalam menentukan validitas, reliabilitas, dan objektivitas suatu informasi. Kemudahan akses terhadap data sering kali tidak diimbangi dengan mekanisme verifikasi yang ketat, sehingga meningkatkan risiko penyebaran misinformasi dan disinformasi. Selain itu, algoritma yang digunakan dalam mesin pencari dan media sosial sering kali bersifat bias, membentuk gelembung informasi (filter bubble) yang dapat mempersempit wawasan intelektual. Dari sisi etika, era digital menimbulkan berbagai dilema, seperti pelanggaran privasi, kepemilikan data, serta penyalahgunaan teknologi untuk manipulasi informasi. Artikel ini menganalisis perubahan ini melalui perspektif filsafat ilmu, khususnya dari sudut pandang epistemologi dan etika, dengan menyoroti tantangan serta peluang yang ditawarkan oleh era digital terhadap ilmu pengetahuan. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan epistemologi yang lebih adaptif dan kritis, serta regulasi etis yang lebih ketat, diperlukan untuk memastikan bahwa perkembangan teknologi tetap sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip ilmiah yang bertanggung jawab dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Dengan demikian, filsafat ilmu tetap relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan dan perubahan yang diakibatkan oleh digitalisasi, serta berperan penting dalam mengembangkan paradigma keilmuan yang lebih inklusif, kritis, dan berbasis nilai.

Abstract

This phenomenological study investigates mathematics academic anxiety and pedagogical anxiety among pre-service elementary school teachers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and observations involving pre-service teachers in teaching practice. The findings reveal that most participants experience high to very high levels of anxiety, both as mathematics learners and as future educators. Academic anxiety is more dominant, often manifesting as negative thoughts, overthinking, and avoidance behaviors, while pedagogical anxiety is slightly lower due to a greater sense of control during teaching practice. The sources of anxiety are multifaceted, including internal factors such as lack of confidence and negative past experiences, as well as external pressures from the educational environment. These results highlight the urgent need for systematic interventions in teacher education programs, such as anxiety management training, self-efficacy workshops, and supportive learning environments, better to prepare pre-service teachers for the challenges of mathematics instruction. Despite its contributions, the study is limited by its cross-sectional design and focus on a single institution. Future research should consider longitudinal approaches and broader samples. Addressing mathematics anxiety among pre-service teachers is crucial for developing confident and competent mathematics educators, ultimately improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan merupakan bagian dari upaya menggerakkan roda kehidupan umat Islam agar tetap berpegang pada tuntunan dan ketertiban berdasarkan Al-Quran dan hadis agama Islam. Kajian ini didasari oleh kenyataan bahwa tidak semua umat Islam mampu mendidik dan menuntut ilmu dengan ilmu yang tinggi, namun sesuai dengan kemampuan dan bakat masing-masing umat Islam. Tentunya diperlukan usaha atau upaya bagi para ulama dari sudut pandangnya, yaitu pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan sangat penting untuk dipahami dan dilaksanakan untuk mencapai dakwah, yaitu Rahmatan Lilalamin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami, memahami dan memberikan landasan ontologi, aksiologi, epistemologi dan psikologi dalam perspektif Islam. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah jenis metode penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, dengan jenis studi literatur review. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah dokumen berupa referensi dari jurnal, buku dan literatur pendukung. Hasil penelitian ini adalah landasan ontologis mengungkap realitas yang ada sehingga selalu terkini mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Landasan epistemologis memandang realitas secara radikal, fundamental dan komprehensif, perspektif Islam mengupayakan hubungan yang lebih erat. Landasan aksiologis mengkaji nilai-nilai, menguji keyakinan akan kebenaran dalam kenyataan. Landasan psikologis mempengaruhi cara berpikir Mad'u serta interaksinya untuk memahami mentalitas dan perilaku.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKurangnya kreativitas guru dalam menciptakan bahan ajar yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi siswa dapat berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran yang tidak efektif bagi siswa. PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan kualitas pembelajaran dengan desain e-didaktik melalui bahan ajar berbasis budaya Cianjur. Metode  yang  digunakan  adalah service learning yang terbagi  menjadi  dua  kegiatan  yaitu pelatihan (synchronous) dan pendampingan (asynchronous). Pelatihan terdiri atas penyampaian materi, sedangkan pendampingan berupa bimbingan pembuatan bahan ajar. Peserta kegiatan PkM yang terdiri dari 32 guru matematika SMA di seluruh Kabupaten Cianjur telah mengikuti kegiatan ini pada awal tahun ajaran baru semester ganjil tahun 2022, dan hasilnya adalah sebanyak 9 buah bahan ajar. Hasil  pengabdian  ini berupa desain rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan desain bahan ajar. Selain  itu, diperoleh    tingkat keberterimaan  kegiatan    pelatihan yang  dominan  berada  pada kategori “Sangat Baik”. Para guru merasakan peningkatan soft skill-nya setelah mengikuti pelatihan dan pendampingan.ABSTRACTThe lack of teacher creativity in creating teaching materials that are adapted to students' conditions has an impact on learning activities that are not effectively accepted by students. This PKM aims to improve pedagogic competence and learning quality with e-didactic design through Cianjur culture-based teaching materials. The method used is service learning, which is divided into two activities, namely training (synchronous) and mentoring (asynchronous). Training consists of delivering material, while mentoring is in the form of guidance on making teaching materials. Participants who took part in this PkM activity were 32 high school mathematics teachers in Cianjur Regency who produced 9 teaching materials. The results of this service are in the form of the design of the lesson plan and the design of teaching materials. In addition, the level of acceptance of the dominant training activities was found to be in the "Very Good" category. The teachers felt an increase in their soft skills after participating in the training and mentoring.

Abstract

Abstract: The concept of merdeka belajar in the meredka curriculum emphasizes that education must experience independence, marked by freeing students to develop their potential independently and freeing teachers and schools from the haunting bureaucratic burden. This paper is a study of the concept of independent learning in the independent curriculum when viewed in the lens of the educational philosophy of progressivism. The research method used is a literature study, namely by conducting a review of literature that has relevance to the research topic discussed. The result obtained is that there is relevance between the concept of merdeka belajar in the merdeka curriculum and the view of the educational philosophy of progressivism, namely wanting the liberation of education from the shackles that make education in Indonesia not develop. The existence of perceived independence for every educational person makes the two educational concepts equal. The emphasis on freedom in this case allows for change for the better.Keyword: Curriculum Merdeka, Educational Philosophy, ProgressivismAbstrak: Konsep merdeka belajar dalam kurikulum merdeka menegaskan bahwa pendidikan harus mengalami kemerdekaan, ditandai dengan memerdekakan peserta didik dalam mengembangkan potensi yang ada dalam dirinya secara mandiri serta memerdekakan guru dan sekolah dari beban birokasi yang menghantui. Tulisan ini adalah sebuah kajian mengenai konsep merdeka belajar pada kurikulum merdeka jika dilihat dalam kacamata filsafat pendidikan aliran progresivisme. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, yaitu dengan melakukan kajian pada literatur-literatur yang memiliki relevansi dengan topik penelitian yang dibahas. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah terdapat relevansi antara konsep merdeka belajar dalam kurikulum merdeka dengan pandangan filsafat pendidikan aliran progresivisme yaitu menginginkan pembebasan pendidikan dari belenggu-belenggu yang membuat pendidikan di Indonesia tidak berkembang. Adanya kemrdekaan yang dirasakan bagi setiap insan pendidikan menjadikan kedua konsep pendidikan tersebut setara. Penekanan pada kebebasan dalam hal ini memungkinkan pada perubahan kearah yang lebih baik.Kata Kunci: Kurikulum Merdeka, Filsafat Pendidikan, Aliran Progresivisme

Abstract

The primary objective of this study was to explore how the Mind Mapping instructional approach influences the creative thinking abilities of fourth-grade students in mathematics. This research utilized a quantitative method employing a quasi-experimental design involving two distinct groups: one serving as the experimental group and the other as the control group. The study was conducted at SDN Karadenan, with a sample of 24 fourth-grade students participating in the experimental group and 29 students from SDN Paledang in the control group, selected through purposive sampling. The main focus was to assess the impact of the Mind Mapping approach on students' creative thinking skills in mathematics. Data was collected using the t-test method. The mean difference between the two groups was 4.89 (experimental group = 66.70 and control group = 52.65), indicating that the Mind Mapping approach was more effective compared to traditional lecture methods, question-answer sessions, and assignments. The findings were statistically significant (p = 0.000) based on Independent Sample T-Test analysis. As the significance level (0.000) was less than 0.05, the null hypothesis was rejected, confirming that the Mind Mapping approach significantly enhances creative thinking skills in mathematics among students. Thus, it can be concluded that the Mind Mapping instructional model has a substantial positive impact on students' creative thinking abilities in the context of mathematics.

Abstract

The background of this study is the unsatisfactory motivation of grade II students to learn mathematics, especially in addition and subtraction lessons. The use of dull and ineffective learning techniques contributes to students' low learning motivation. Therefore, the use of STAD type cooperative learning model is one of the solutions that can be used for second grade elementary school students. This study aims to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on grade II students' learning motivation in addition and subtraction in mathematics. The approach used is a quantitative and quasi-experimental method. The population consisted of all SDN Tugu and SDN 1 Kalaparea; the sample consisted of 35 grade II SDN Tugu students as the experimental class and 29 students of grade II SDN 1 Kalaparea as the control class. These learners were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques were tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The techniques used to analyze the data are validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, and T-test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is concluded that using the STAD type cooperative learning model increases the motivation to learn mathematics in the material of addition and subtraction of standard-length units. This can be seen from the data analysis obtained, where the sig value (2-tailed) of 0.0001 is less than 0.05, meaning that the probability value of sig.

Abstract

The concept of area is fundamental to geometry and essential for applications in various fields, including physics, engineering, and data analysis. This study examines the gap between mathematicians’ views on area and its presentation in Indonesian and Japanese elementary textbooks, as well as its impact on student learning. Using the Anthropological Theory of Didactics and a qualitative phenomenological design, the analysis focuses on chapters discussing the area, applying a three-stage content analysis to identify conceptual components, formula presentations, shape variations, and task types. This analysis is supported by quantitative indicators, such as the task variation index and proportions of exploratory versus procedural tasks. The findings indicate that Japanese textbooks employ a more systematic and comprehensive didactic approach, offering a range of tasks, exploratory methods, and logical sequencing that promote independent learning. In contrast, Indonesian textbooks rely on repetitive, limited cut-and-paste methods, which may lead to a rigid understanding and learning obstacles. The study suggests the need for a critical evaluation of textbooks and more conceptually coherent learning designs, aligned with mathematical principles. It recommends task designs that integrate exploration and reasoning, consistent formula derivation, and broader variations of shapes to reduce learning barriers.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to design, develop, and validate a culturally adapted Digital Fun Thinkers learning tool to enhance scientific conceptualization and learning responsibility among deaf and hard-of-hearing elementary students in Bengkala Village, Bali, Indonesia. Methodology: This study employed the ADDIE instructional design model and a one-group pretest–posttest quasi-experimental design. The Digital Fun Thinkers tool was developed as an interactive multimedia application. Data were analyzed using Aiken’s V, paired-sample t-test, and normalized gain (N-Gain). Main Findings: Expert validation indicated high validity (media experts: V = 0.9583; material experts: V = 0.9350) and very practical use (user satisfaction = 81.39%). Students’ scientific conceptualization improved significantly (t = -37.997, p < 0.001; N-Gain = 0.7338, large effect). Learning responsibility averaged 66.28 (very high category). Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces a culturally grounded digital learning tool integrating Kata Kolok sign language, gamified features, and local scientific contexts for deaf learners. It advances inclusive science education by providing empirically validated, technology-enhanced resources tailored to marginalized DHH communities in rural settings.
