Abstract

Investment trends in Indonesia have shown a significant increase, partly driven by the dominance of Generation Z as capital market investors. An interesting phenomenon emerges when Generation Z, despite having relatively low and unstable income, continues to dominate investment activities in the capital market. Based on this condition, this study aims to analyze the influence of Income Level, Digital Literacy, and Social Environment on Investment Intention among Generation Z in DKI Jakarta. This research uses primary data with a quantitative approach. The sample consists of 100 Generation Z respondents aged 20–27 years who already have income and reside in DKI Jakarta. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling, with a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25. The partial test (t-test) results show that Income Level has no significant effect on Investment Intention, while Digital Literacy and Social Environment have a positive and significant effect. The simultaneous test (F-test) results indicate that Income Level, Digital Literacy, and Social Environment together have a significant positive effect on Investment Intention. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for developing financial education strategies and investor protection programs targeting young investors in Indonesia.

Abstract

This community service initiative aims to enhance financial literacy and family financial management skills among fishing communities in Karangsong Village, Indramayu Regency, to support the implementation of blue economy principles. Low levels of financial literacy have contributed to the inability of fishers to manage their highly fluctuating incomes, increasing household economic vulnerability, particularly during the lean season. This program involves various activities, including socialization sessions, basic financial record-keeping training, budgeting workshops, education on emergency funds, and improving understanding of access to formal financial services. The outcomes of this initiative include improved knowledge and skills among fishers in managing household finances, developing budgeting habits, adopting basic financial record-keeping practices, and initiating a savings culture. In line with the sustainable development goals of the blue economy, this effort is expected to strengthen the economic resilience of fishing families, reduce their dependency on middlemen, and promote smarter financial behavior.

Abstract

Climate change is a global challenge that impacts various aspects of life, including the education sector. Therefore, teachers play a strategic role in conveying the concepts of climate change mitigation and adaptation to students. This training aims to improve teachers' skills, particularly in understanding climate change prevention strategies that can be implemented in schools. The activity was conducted offline using a lecture method with presenters from within and outside the country. It was attended by teachers from various schools in Jakarta and the surrounding area, allowing participants to directly engage in active discussions with the speakers and other participants. The training's outcomes include improving teachers' understanding of the basic concepts of climate change and mitigation strategies that can be applied in everyday life, encouraging the implementation of environmentally-based learning practices in schools through ongoing mentoring, and developing networks between teachers and educators. This will undoubtedly be even more effective with the support of school facilities and the development of an appropriate curriculum.

Abstract

The high level of congestion in Jakarta City due to commuter activity from buffer areas underlies the urgency of shifting public preferences, especially Generation Z as a vital worker segment, from private transportation to public transportation. This quantitative research aims to analyze the influence of travel costs, travel time, and accessibility on the choice of public transportation modes by 114 Generation Z workers domiciled in buffer cities namely Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi who work in Jakarta, using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate (1) travel costs have no significant influence on the choice of public transportation, (2) travel time has a negative and significant influence on the choice of public transportation, and (3) accessibility is proven to have a positive and significant influence on the choice of public transportation. The results of the study indicate the need for the government and transportation service providers to prioritize increasing the efficiency of travel time and accessibility through the development of integrated infrastructure and first-mile/last-mile solutions, as well as maintaining affordability and ease of multi-modal transactions.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of family support and entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial intention of Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Jakarta 2022 batch students, with entrepreneurial inspiration as a mediator. Using a quantitative survey, data was collected from 132 students online and analyzed with SEM-PLS. Results show that family support and entrepreneurship education positively influence entrepreneurial intention and inspiration. Entrepreneurial inspiration also positively influences entrepreneurial intention. Nevertheless, the mediation effect of inspiration is relatively low. This model has good explanatory and predictive power, emphasizing the importance of family support, education, and inspiration in shaping students' entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of money supply, rupiah exchange rate, and interest rate (BI Rate) on inflation, and vice versa, in Indonesia from 2016 to 2024, with a total of 100 observations. The method employed is a quantitative approach utilizing Vector Autoregression/Vector Error Correction Model (VAR/VECM) analysis techniques to identify both short-term and long-term effects. The results of the study indicate that the money supply and inflation do not significantly influence each other in either the short or long term. The exchange rate has a negative and significant influence on inflation in the long term. In contrast, the interest rate shows a positive and significant influence on inflation only in the long term. The results of the Impulse Response Function (IRF) and Variance Decomposition (VD) analyses confirm that the exchange rate is the most effective variable in explaining variations in inflation. In contrast, the roles of money supply and interest rates are relatively low. These findings indicate the importance of exchange rate stabilization as the primary strategy in controlling inflation in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar melalui efikasi diri siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMAN Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang dibagian kepada 200 lebih siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa melalui efikasi diri hal ini ditunjukkan melalui uji sobel dengan nilai koefisien korelasi yakni 1,96 < 1,974. Maka hipotesis tersebut tidak diterima sehingga hubungan kualitas pembelajaran hanya memiliki hubungan langsung terhadap motivasi belajar tanpa melalui efikasi diri SMAN Jakarta Selatan. Kualitas pembelajaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai koefisien beta sebesar 0,460 dengan thitung sebesar 8,881 dan probabilitas sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Education is a process that continuously transfers knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to develop intellectual abilities and prepare individuals for societal roles. Learning outcomes are influenced by factors such as parental education levels, socioeconomic status, and learning motivation. This study examines the relationship between these factors and academic performance among high school students at Sekolah Indonesia Davao (SID) in Davao City, Philippines. Conducted from February to May 2024, the research involved 39 students using a 1-5 Likert scale questionnaire via Google Forms, and multiple linear regression analysis was employed to assess the impact of the independent variables on academic performance. The results indicated that the overall model was not significant (p-value = 0.5530), meaning the independent variables did not significantly explain the variance in academic performance. Individual analysis of Parental Education Level, Socioeconomic Status, and Learning Motivation also showed non-significant results, with all p-values ​​exceeding 0.05. The fit statistics supported these findings, with an R² value of 0.0573 indicating very weak explanatory power, and negative adjusted R² (-0.0235) and predicted R² (-0.1820) values ​​highlighting the model's poor performance. The study concludes that these factors do not significantly impact the academic performance of SID students, suggesting the need for further research to identify other variables that might better explain the variability in academic performance among high school students at SID.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses micro teaching di era pembelajaran daring terhadap kesiapan mengajar mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta (FE UNJ) dalam Praktik Keterampilan Mengajar (PKM) secara tatap muka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan micro teaching oleh mahasiswa prodi kependidikan FE UNJ T.A 2019, dan 2) mengetahui efektivitas micro teaching terhadap kesiapan mengajar mahasiswa prodi kependidikan FE UNJ T.A 2019 dalam melaksanakan PKM di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan kunci adalah dosen pengampu mata kuliah Strategi Belajar Mengajar (SBM) di FE UNJ, sementara informan utama adalah mahasiswa dari masing-masing prodi pendidikan di FE UNJ. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan software Nvivo 12 Plus for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa micro teaching daring memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan dalam mempersiapkan mahasiswa untuk PKM secara tatap muka. Analisis menggunakan Nvivo menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terhadap alur persiapan bahan ajar, sehingga mereka lebih siap menghadapi situasi praktik di lapangan. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi mahasiswa, seperti kurangnya pemahaman terhadap perangkat pembelajaran terbaru, kesulitan dalam menyederhanakan materi agar sesuai dengan tingkat pemahaman siswa, keterbatasan dalam keterampilan komunikasi, dan kesulitan dalam memahami karakter siswa. Tantangan serta hambatan tersebut dapat diatasi melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur dan pelatihan untuk mahasiswa yang lebih intensif dan sesuai target.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Program Kartu Jakarta Mahasiswa Unggul (KJMU) di wilayah Kelurahan Rawamangun, Jakarta Timur. KJMU merupakan inisiatif dari Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan akses pendidikan tinggi bagi mahasiswa dari keluarga kurang mampu. Metode evaluasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product), yang menganalisis menyeluruh terhadap berbagai aspek program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program KJMU di Kelurahan Rawamangun telah berjalan dengan baik, namun masih terdapat beberapa tantangan, seperti kurangnya sosialisasi mengenai penggunaan dana, ketidakpastian jadwal pencairan, dan perlunya evaluasi yang lebih ketat dalam proses seleksi penerima. Selain itu, penerima KJMU diharapkan untuk lebih memahami hak dan kewajiban mereka agar dapat memanfaatkan bantuan secara optimal. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini mencakup peningkatan sosialisasi, pelatihan bagi penerima, dan penguatan mekanisme monitoring untuk memastikan program KJMU dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan akses pendidikan bagi mahasiswa dari latar belakang ekonomi yang kurang mampu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan di DKI Jakarta dan meningkatkan efektivitas program KJMU di masa mendatang.
