Abstract

The concept of eco-tourism connects nature tourism trips that have a conservation mission that is carried out simultaneously with forestry development in forest areas that is applied to social forestry schemes. The scheme focuses more on empowerment in a participatory manner to increase the community's ability to manage the potential of forest resources in the vicinity. The purpose of this study; 1) Knowing the potential of Akebalanda Village Forest in Moya Village, 2) Develop a strategy for the development of Forest Eco-tourism in Ake Balanda Village, Moya Village. The method in this study is to observe and inventory the potential of vegetation. Field observations were carried out to determine the location of data collection and obtain actual data regarding the potential of village forests and the eco-tourism development strategies used, and continued with structured interviews with group administrators and related parties, then the data will be analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results showed that the flora potential in the eco-tourism area of Gamalama Forest, Akebalanda Village in Moya Village, was very diverse. This is indicated by the discovery of 31 types of plants developed in the area. In addition to the potential of flora, there is also another potential as an attraction for the development of Gamalama Eco-tourism, namely natural potential. Based on the calculation of scores on the EFAS and IFAS matrices, the Gamalama ecotourism development in the forest of Akebalanda village is in quadrant I (0,16 – 0,94). Quadrant I is a very favorable situation in doing business. This position has opportunities and strengths from two factors, namely internal factors and external factors that can be utilized by KUPS and LPHD. The strategy that must be applied in this condition is to support an aggressive growth policy (Growth Oriental Strategy).

Abstract

Pembangunan kehutanan Indonesia dengan skema perhutanan sosial lebih menitikberatkan pada upaya pemberdayaan secara partisipatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelolah potensi sumberdaya hutan di sekitarnya.  Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey deskriptif dengan pendekatan beberapa teknik PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) seperti : pemetaan kawasan, penelusuran lokasi, sketsa area ekowisata, diagram venn dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan ekowisata Akebalanda Kelurahan Moya mengadopsi pola pengembangan ekowisata yang berbasis masyarakat. Pola ini mendukung dan memungkinkan keterlibatan penuh oleh masyarakat melalui kelompok dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengelolaan usaha ekowisata dan segala keuntungan yang diperoleh. Pembangunan ekowisata di Kelurahan Moya merupakan bagian dari program perhutanan sosial yang berorientasi pada kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dimaksudkan untuk mewujudkan kemandirian masyarakat untuk dapat hidup dengan baik melalui pemanfaatan potensi sumberdaya hutan berbasis lokal yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat. Pendampingan, workshop dan pelaksanaan bimbingan teknis perhutanan sosial (BIMTEK-PS) merupakan bentuk keterlibatan stakeholder untuk pengembngan perhutanan sosial di Kota Ternate dan HPHD akebalanda secara khusus dengan melibatkan melibatkan berbagai pihak, diantaranya akdemisi, praktisi dan LSM serta para pihak terkait sebagai mitra pengembangan perhutanan sosial Maluku Utara dan Kota Ternate Secara khusus.

Abstract

Agroforestri merupakan sistem penggunaan lahan terpadu, yang memiliki aspek sosial dan ekologi, dilaksanakan melalui perpaduan antara pepohonan dengan tanaman pertanian dan atau ternak (hewan), baik secara bersama–sama atau bergiliran, sehingga dari satu unit lahan dapat diperoleh hasil–hasil nabati dan hewani secara optimal dan berkesinambungan. Tujuan dari penelitina ini yaitu (1) Melihat bagaimana pola pengembangan agroforestri di Kecamatan Pulau Ternate (2) Strategi apa yang diterapkan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan agroforestri Kecamatan Pulau Ternate. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan secara lansung di lahan agroforestri yang dipilih secara sengaja atau purposive sampling. Analisis strategis pengembangan agroforestri  dilakukan menggunakan analisis SWOT (strengths, weakness, opportunity dan threats). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perhitungan skor pada matrik EFAS dan IFAS pengembangan agroforestri di kacamatan Pulau Ternate berada pada posisi kuadran II (0.48 ;–0.27). Kuadran II merupakan situasi petani dalam menghadapi ancaman, namun petani masih memiliki kekuatan dari segi internal yaitu strategi yang harus diterapkan dengan menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Selanjutnya ditentukan strategi terpilih sebagai alternatif pengembangan yakni (1) sosialisasi kesadaran lingkungan dan pemahaman tentang manfaat agroforestri untuk meminimalisir terjadinya konversi lahan (S1, S3, S4, S5, T1, T3, T5), (2) mengembangkan pola agroforestri dengan penerapan teknologi untuk peningkatan produktifitas lahan  dan produksi hasil yang tinggi dan beragam (S2, S3, S5, T1, T2, T3, T4, T5) dan (3) mempertahankan serta meningkatkan  kualitas produk agroforestri (S1, S2, S3, T1, T2, T5).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of bird species in Bukit Tanah Putih Sidangoli, West Halmahera Regency. Using the combined method of point count and line transects. Observations of bird samples were carried out in three types of habitats, namely the habitat of the trans Halmahera road, river lanes and white hills. Based on the results of the study, there were 59 species from 25 families with bird diversity index =2.70-3.39, the species evenness index ranged from 0.50 to 0.82. The evenness index value for the trans-halmahera mesh line in the garden vegetation type was higher (E= 0.82) compared to the vegetation index in the forest type (E = 0.69) and the HTI area (0.60). The highest evenness index value in Bukit Tanah Putih in the three vegetation types, namely gardens, forests and hearts, had the same evenness index value (0.50). The trans-halmahera road observation path is the most dominant species in garden vegetation, namely parrot parrot (Eclectus roratus), river location in Maluku serindit forest vegetation (Collocalia esculenta) and Bukit Tanah Putih in garden and forest vegetation (red cheek parrot = Geofroyi geofroyu). The conclusions of this study are the diversity of bird species in Bukit Tanah Putih, Sidangoli, moderate (H'=2.70) to high (H'3.39), the species evenness index was evenly distributed (E=0.50-0.82) and the high dominance.

Abstract

The existence of Green Open Space (RTH) is an important element in forming a comfortable and healthy urban environment. The existence of RTH functions, among others, as the lungs of the city, the beauty of the city, and a center for physical health and natural recreation. This study aims to determine the diversity of vegetation types in Rum Balibunga City Park, Tidore Islands City. The method used in this research is a quantitative method to collect data on the types of vegetation found in urban parks using the Shanon Wiener equation. There are 10 types of tree species in the Rum Balibunga park with a total of 101 trees (H'=1.8198, belonging to the medium category), which are dominated by Samanea saman plants. While there are 5 types of ornamental plants with a total of 206 (H' = 1.389 medium category) which are dominated by Aglonema plants.

Abstract

Kasbi lempeng adalah makanan tradisional yang banyak dikonsumsi di beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Dalam penyuluhan dan pembagian alat produksi Kasbi lempeng, penting untuk memastikan peserta memahami informasi yang disampaikan dan memiliki keterampilan dalam menggunakan alat produksi tersebut. Penyuluhan dan pembagian alat produksi kasbi lempeng adalah kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan bantuan kepada masyarakat terkait dengan proses produksi kasbi lempeng.  Pembagian alat produksi kasbi lempeng dapat dilakukan dalam rangka memperluas produksi kasbi lempeng di masyarakat. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat meningkatkan produksi kasbi Lempeng.

Abstract

Butterflies in nature provide benefits to the process of pollination and flower fertilization. Ecologically, it contributes to maintaining ecosystem balance and enriching biodiversity. The aim of this research is to identify the diversity of butterfly species in the Tiga Bidadari waterfall area and identify their food plants. The data collection method uses the Time Search method, namely an inventory method with observation plots not limited by a certain distance or area, but rather time (minutes). The data obtained will be analyzed using the Shannon-Wiener Diversity Index, relative abundance and dominance index. The research results showed that there were 15 species of butterflies ( 5 families ) namely, the Nymphalidae, Lycaenidae, Pieridae, Hesperiidae, and Papilionidae. The number of individuals is 90 individuals with a diversity index value of H' ꞊ 2.46 (medium diversity category). Based on the relative abundance of the species, Danaus genutia is the most common type of butterfly found in the Tiga Bidadari Waterfall area. A butterfly dominance index of 0.10 indicates that the butterfly species is not dominant. The food plants found consist of 12 types. The presence of butterflies in the Tiga Bidadari Waterfall area is influenced by food plants.

Abstract

Drinking water is one of the most essential human need. As society advances and living standards rise, the amount of water available keeps growing. Purchasing clean water for domestic purposes, such drinking and bathing, must adhere to national and local laws as well as international standards (APHA and WHO). Determining consumer preference for Khairunqu Bottled Mineral Water (AMDK) goods and the degree of microbiological contamination present in bottled AMDK products are the two main objectives of this study. In compliance with SNI 3553:2015, cartridge filter type treatment was used in this study.  A quantitative descriptive method is used in this study. This study investigated five different therapies. Using cartridge filters to create Khairunqu Bottled Mineral Water (AMDK) in bottles with organoleptic and microbiological characteristics is one of these methods. The findings indicate that the mineral water's organoleptic properties in Khairunqu bottles with different filter cartridges are as follows: color 5.63-5.87 (neutral), taste 5.71-6.0 (slightly), and odor 5.57-5.75 (neutral). The initial ALT temperature was 36°C ±2°C (1.0 x 101).Keywords: Bottled Mineral Water, Cartridge Filter

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jumlah dan jenis tanaman tahunan serta tanaman musiman yang ditanam pada lahan pekarangan dengan sistem agroforestri, dan mengukur pendapatan keluarga dari sistem pekarangan yang diterapkan di Desa Kokotu, Kecamatan Bacan Barat Halmahera Selatan. Analisis pengusahaan pekarangan yang diterapkan dengan sistem agroforestri dilakukan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan yang selama ini telah dilakukan masyarakat Desa Kokotu, Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis deskriptif meliputi jumlah jenis dan jumlah individu tanaman per hektar sesuai luas lahan yang diusahakan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masyarakat Desa Kokotu sebagian besar berprofesi sebagai petani, dengan menanam berbagai jenis  tanaman pada lahan pekarangan seperti jenis ubi-ubian, sayuran, bebuahan, rempah, kayu, dan tanaman hias serta tanaman obat yang digunakan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan rumah tangga maupun untuk tujuan komersil jika produksinya lebih.

Abstract

Apis mellifera (Superior bee) is the main type of honey bee cultivated in many countries, including Indonesia, one of which is in Idam Dehe Village. Honey bees are insects that use flowering plants as a source of food and are also known as insects that produce useful products. The most important factor that affects the success of honey bee cultivation is feed (nectar or pollen), so this study aims to inventory and analyze the density, frequency of important value indices in each type of plant which is a source of honey bee feed in Idam Dehe Village. This research was conducted in June - October 2022. The research method used is the plotted path method with a sampling intensity of 10%. The example tile is created as many as 40 tiles. The plots are placed on 4 lanes with a distance between plots of 50 m. Sample plot sizes of 2m × 2m, 5m × 5m, 10m × 10m and 20m × 20m. Data analysis using the formulas INP= KR+FR (for seedlings and saplings), INP= KR+FR+DR (for poles and trees). The results of the study on 4 paths with a sample plot of 40 plots, found 17 types of plants that are the source of feed for honey bees Apis mellifera with a total number of individuals 237 individuals and 14 families, which are dominated by the Arecaceae family, namely Cocos nucifera and Arenga pinnata with a total of 49 individuals at all growth rates. The results of the calculation of INP values showed that Mimosa pudica had the highest INP value at the seedling level (56.96), Piper aduncum at the stake level (31.82), as well as at the pole and tree level the highest INP value at the Cocos nucifera type was 96.22 at the pole level and 72.84 at the tree level.
