Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a vegetable of the world community for salads, fresh vegetables and lettuce leaf juice. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and production of lettuce plants. Methods: January - April 2021. Farmers' gardens in Gambesi Village, Ternate, North Maluku. Lettuce seed plant material, new formula liquid organic fertilizer (POC FB) and with treatment consisting of: Treatment without new formulation liquid organic fertilizer (POCFB) 1 liter of water/3 polybags (A1), 5 cc of POCFB treatment / 1 liter of water/3 polybags (A2)., POCFB treatment 10 cc/1 liter of water/3 polybags (A3)., POCFB treatment 15 cc/1 liter of water/3 polybags (A4)., POCFB treatment 20 cc/1 liter of water/3 polybags (A5 ). Agronomic parameters include: 1) Lettuce height (cm), 2) lettuce leaf number, 3) Length (cm), 4) Fresh weight of sample (g) with analysis of variance (Anova). The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment of POCFB 20 cc/L water/3 polybags (A5) affected all parameters of lettuce observation, age 10 DAP was 5 cm high, at 20 DAP the highest was 9 cm and at 30 DAP the height was 18 cm. Meanwhile, at harvest, the maximum number of lettuce leaves was 6, the longest leaf was 17 cm, and the heaviest sample weight was 118 g when compared to other treatments. Macro and micro elements in POCFB so as to encourage, accelerate the increase in size, length of lettuce.

Abstract

Currently, the vegetable products that consumers want are quality and healthy vegetables that are safe for consumption. To get mustard with good quality, it is necessary to increase the application of organic fertilizer, one of which is the provision of forage klotalaria. Green manure is a fertilizer that comes from the weathering of natural ingredients, either the remains of leaves, stems or green fruit. Plant residues in the form of leaves or stover are the most economical sources of organic matter. Clotalaria juncea L is a type of legume that can be used as green manure. On Ternate Island, Clotalaria plants are scattered in various vegetation and open areas. But it has not been used as a source of organic matter among farmers. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of green manure C. juncea L. which was effective on the growth and productivity of mustard plants. The results of the study with a dose of 2 kg of green manure C. juncea L produced a plant height of 32.25 cm, number of leaves 13.25 cm, leaf area of ​​193.9245 cm, and fresh plant weight of 107.5 g, these results were higher than the treatment. other doses.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of the Portulaca oleracea purslane growth time on the growing and production of Topo local cultivar of red onions Allium ascalonicum which is originally from Tidore island. We used Randomized Block Design (RBD) to run six treatments in three blocks which consisted of P0 (without purslane weed as the control), P1 (purslane growth in the beginning of onion planting), P2 (growing of purslane after 10 days planting of onion), P3 (growing of purslane after 20 days planting of onion), P4 (growing of purslane after 30 days planting of onion), and P5 (growing of purslane after 40 days planting of onion), so there were 18 experimental units. Then, data were analysed by ANOVA, if there any significant effect which was continued by Least Significance Different test (ɑ=0,05). The results showed that the longer purslane weeds associated with Topo red onion could suppress the growth of this red onion and finally decrease the production. Finally, we found that production of P2 (103.33 g/plot) as the lowest production, which differed significantly with P0 (483.33 g/plot). Therefore, we suggested if weed control of purslane could be done at the age seven until forty days after planting and this information could be used as an essential strategy to controlling purslane weed.

Abstract

Rootstock affects the success rate of vegetative compatibility through the grafting method. Knowing one of the best rootstock ages that determine the percentage rate of success of the grafting method is the goal of this study. The method used was a randomized block design with 3 treatments for rootstock age 60 days, 90 days, and 120 days. The results showed that the difference in rootstock age affected 90% of the success of vegetative propagation using the connection method on the emergence of new shoots and the number of leaves. The highest percentage of success was in the treatment of rootstock seedlings aged 60 days (48.75%). The highest number of leaves was in the treatment of nutmeg seedling age of 60 days (6 pieces) while the lowest was in the treatment of 120 days (3 pieces).

Abstract

Permintaan Masyarakat Kota Ternate Propinsi Maluku Utara akan jagung manis sangat tinggi, sementara penyedian jagung di pasar – pasar Kota Ternate tidak terlihat. Tujuan PKM adalah memanfatkan lahan marginal dengan pupuk organik cair formula baru untuk meningkatkan produksi jagung manis sebagai sumber pangan dan pendapatan keluarga. Kegiatan PKM pendampingan dilakukan bersama masyarakat mitra dan mahasiswa untuk memanfatkan lahan marginal dengan potensi kesuburan kimia, fisik dan biologi tanah rendah. Mengantisipasi hal tersebut mencari salah salah pupuk organik cair yang mampu menyiapkan kesuburan tanah sehingga pertumbuhan tanaman lebih cepat produksi yaitu dengan penggunaan pupuk organik cair formula baru (POCFB), pupuk ini adalah pupuk ramah lingkungan dan mampu menambah kesuburan lahan marginal dan mampu meningkatkan produksi jagung manis. Manfaatnya serta capaian kegiatan PKM adalah pertumbuhan tanaman subur, menghasilkan kegiatan dan menunjukan bahwa dengan menggunakan pupuk organik cair dapat menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman dengan subur, daun besar, batang besar dan buah besar, rasa enak dan jagung manis seperti ini yang disukai oleh masyarakat. Demikian masyarakat mitra dapat melakukan budidaya jagung manis secara terus menerus dan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Tanah marginal, Pupuk organik, Produksi jagung manis. ABSTRACT The demand of the people of Ternate City, North Maluku Province for sweet corn is very high, while the supply of corn in the markets of Ternate City is not visible. The aim of PKM is to utilize marginal land with a new formula liquid organic fertilizer to increase sweet corn production as a source of food and family income. PKM mentoring activities are carried out with partner communities and students to take advantage of marginal lands with low chemical, physical and biological potential for soil fertility. Anticipating this, look for one of the liquid organic fertilizers that are able to prepare soil fertility so that plant growth is faster in production, namely by using a new formula liquid organic fertilizer (POCFB), this fertilizer is an environmentally friendly fertilizer and is able to increase marginal land fertility and is able to increase sweet corn production. . The benefits and achievements of PKM activities are the growth of fertile plants, produce activities and show that using liquid organic fertilizer can produce fertile plant growth, large leaves, large stems and large fruit, delicious taste and sweet corn like this that is liked by the community, thus the partner community can carry out sweet corn cultivation continuously and sustainably. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mengggu kgiatan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman selada di pekarangan rumah masarakat desa.Tempat Penelitian di Desa Nusajaya Halmahera Timur  Indonesia.  selama Januari – Mei 2021. Perlakuan tanpa pupuk orgnik cair limbah ikan  ((POCLI))  1 liter air/3 polybag (A1)., (POCLI)  5 cc/1 liter air/3 polybag (A2).,  (POCLI) 10 cc/1 liter air/3 polybag (A3)., (POCLI)  15 cc/1 liter air/3 polybag (A4)., (POCLI)  20 cc/1 liter air/3 polybag (A5)., (POCLI)  25 cc/1 liter air/3 polybag (A6) Masing- masing  polybag  diberikan 333 cc. Parameter agronomi meliputi: 1)  Tinggi selada (cm), 2) banyak daun selada, 3) Panjang (cm), 4) Bobot segar sampel (g) dengan  analisis ragam (Anova).  Kesempulan. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukan bahwa perlakuan POCLI 25 cc/L air/3 polybag (A6)  berpengaruh terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan selada, umur 14 HST  tinggi 8 cm, umur 21 HST tertinggi 13 cm dan pada umur 28 HST tinggi  20 cm. Pada saat panen menhasilkan jumlah daun selada terbayak 10 helai, daun terpanjang 20 cm, dan bobot sampel terberat  135 g  bila dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Usur makro dan mikro didalam POCLI sehingga mendorong,  mempercepat pertambahan ukuran, panjang selada.

Abstract

Kacang panjang adalah sayuran meningkatkan kecerdasan. Tujuan mengetahui respon mikro organisme lokal (MOL) bonggol pisang terhadap produksi tanaman kacang panjang. Tempat di kelurahan Fitu Kecamatan Ternate Selatan dari bulan September - Oktober 2019. Bahan benih kacang panjang, air kelapa, mikro ordanisme lokal (MOL) bonggol pisang, air cucian beras, gula. Rancangan acak kelompok 1 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan dengan 5 taraf pupuk MOL bonggol pisang yaitu tanpa MOL bonggol pisang per lite air (B0)., MOL bonggol pisang 400 ml per lite air (B1)., MOL bonggol pisang 800 ml per lite air (B2)., MOL bonggol pisang 1200 ml per lite air (B3)., MOL bonggol pisang 1400 ml per lite air (B4). Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan pupuk organik cair mikro organisme lokal (MOL) bonggol pisang pada dosis 1400 ml (B4) menhasilkan tinggi tanaman 17 cm dan 14 helai hal ini terjadi pada umur 14 HST . Demikian juga komponen jumlah bunga terbentuk 5 bunga panen pertama dan 5 bunga panen kedua, jumlah polong terbentuk 8 polong panen pertama dan 8 polong panen kedua. Komponen panjang polong 82 cm panen pertama dan panjang polong 83 cm panen kedua. Sedangkan diameter polong 4 mm panen pertama dan diameter polong 5 mm panen kedua. Komponen bobot polong 387 g panen pertama dan 437 g panen kedua. Pupuk organik cair mikro organisme lokal bonggol pisang sangat baik untuk digunakan peningkatkan produksi tanaman kacang panjang dan tanaman hortikultura lainnya.

Abstract

The spread of the corona virus is the impact of the community's household economy and the decline in community food security. Goals Growth and production of upland rice through the provision of a new formula liquid organic fertilizer (POC FB) in bucket media above the house to meet people's food during the covid-19 pandemic. Place in Gambesi from March to August 2020. Upland rice seed ingredients, new formula liquid organic fertilizer (POC FB). Treatment with 5 levels (FOC FB) with doses / pot as follows: 0 cc / liter of water (B0), 10 cc / liter of water (B1), 15 cc / liter of water (B2), 20 cc / liter of water (B3) , 2 5 cc / liter of water (B4), 30 cc / liter of water (B5). Lack of water as a dissolved material and the availability of small bucket media or upland rice plants can affect upland rice growth and yield variables. The results of the analysis of variance showed a new formula liquid organic fertilizer at a dose of 30 cc / liter of water / bucket (B5). yielded 70 cm high and 42 tillers, 44 cm panicles and 39 g dry weight when compared with other treatments. POC FB is a liquid organic fertilizer that provides macro and micro elements so that it accelerates the growth, development, height, tiller, panicle and harvest weight of upland rice plants.

Abstract

Cucumber is fruit consumed by straight away. Destination how waste vegetables increase growth and production cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.). Research this is in the village South Ternate Tabona for 4 months started from month January April 2022. Ingredients and Tools. Materials used _ in study this is seed cucumber (var. hercules plus), fertilizer compost vegetables. Tool hoe, meter, scale, handsprayer, pH meter. Method study this is study experiment field with using polybag media. design random group (RAK) treatment 5 and test 3, namely: B0) without treatment, B1) 6 kg of soil + 4 kg of compost, B2) 5 kg of soil + 5 kg of compost, B3) 4 kg of soil + 6 kg of compost, B4) 3 kg of soil + 7 kg of compost. Character observation tall plant, number strand, fruit, fruit diameter, fruit length, weight fresh. Data analysis using Analysisof variance (BNT) 0.05. Results analysis variety show that growth with planting medium composition on B4 treatment (3 kg of soil + 7 kg of compost) gave enough response _ good to Cucumber, where? character 45 cm high plant, 13 strands, 3 pieces, 27 cm long fruit, 6 cm diameter fruit, and 1.37 kg weight fruit
