Abstract

Masalah mental pada mahasiswa berdampak buruk pada pencapaian akademik. Program KASIH merupakan akronim dari KAwan pSIkologi Harmonis. Program ini bertujuan untuk membentuk komunitas konselor sebaya agar mampu membantu menjadi teman cerita bagi Mahasiswa Prodi Psikologi yang memiliki kecenderungan atau mengalami masalah mental. Peserta dalam pelatihan ini adalah 9 orang. Pelaksanaan pelatihan terdiri empat tahap, yaitu seleksi dan rekrutmen, pelatihan keterampilan konseling, try out pelaksanaan konseling serta sosialisasi layanan konseling sebaya di Prodi Psikologi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada konselor sebaya. Implikasi dari program ini adalah alur layanan konseling sebaya di Prodi Psikologi Undana yang terstruktur dan rutin.

Abstract

Leprosy is a disease that attacks the physical and psychological so that it can affect the quality of psychological well-being of leprosy patients. Several factors that can affect psychological well-being in leprosy patients, one of which is self-acceptance. This study aims to provide an overview of self-acceptance of leprosy patients at the Bunda Pembantu Abadi Naob Hospital. The research design used qualitative research with 5 subjects with criteria determined by purposive sampling techniques, namely leprosy patients who were undergoing treatment at the Hospital. The data collected were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques and produced 3 main themes, namely, psychological impacts, self-acceptance factors, and treatment challenges. Self-acceptance of leprosy patients is explained through various psychological impacts experienced by leprosy patients, namely stigma and rejection and various negative feelings about themselves, also through various factors that encourage leprosy patients to achieve self-acceptance, namely motivation, treatment in the hospital as a new hope, religious coping, and social support. In the process of achieving healing and self-acceptance, there are challenges faced by leprosy patients, namely lack of knowledge about the disease, misdiagnosis, and traditional medicine. In addition to providing physical therapy services, in the future hospitals need to develop psychosocial support programs to improve self-acceptance and psychological well-being of leprosy patients.

Abstract

The local government is an institution that has an obligation to carry out development plans and services to the community, so the regional government must inform its regional accountability report to be assessed by the community whether the local government has been able to carry out its duties optimally or not. The tool used to analyze the performance of local governments in managing their regional finances is to apply financial ratio analysis to the budget and realization of the planned APBD. The research method used in this study is a descriptive analysis method through a ratio calculation approach. This research method aims to be able to provide an overview of the financial performance of the local government of East Lombok Regency from 20018-2021. The results showed that the effectiveness ratio was very effective with a total percentage of 95.71, the independence ratio showed an indicator that was less effective with a total percentage of 16.14, the ratio of financial performance activity showed an average percentage value in operating costs amounted to 109.29 and capital costs amounted to 14.41 and the expenditure growth ratio was still categorized as unfavorable because the total operating expenditure was greater than the total capital expenditure. Where operating expenditures amounted to 26.96 and total capital expenditures amounted to 3.34.

Abstract

Abstrac. Children and adolescents with disabilities in SLB need to have knowledge about coping stress strategies and understand about sexual violence and its prevention. Training of trainers (ToT) training for teachers in SLB on coping stress and prevention and handling of sexual violence was done for the purpose to provide knowledge for students in SLB on how to overcome stress and prevent sexual violence that are susceptible to be experienced by children and adolescents with disabilities. This training activity is a form of community service carried out on teachers at SLB Negeri Lobalain, Rote-Ndao Regency. A total of 17 teachers participated in this community service activity. A quasi-experimental study with one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted to measure the effectiveness of the training. The results of the hypothesis testing showed that the training has a significant effect on participants' understanding, t(16) = -5.738, p 0.001, d = -1.392. Abstrak. Anak dan remaja penyandang disabilitas di SLB perlu memiliki pengetahuan tentang strategi coping stres dan memahami tentang kekerasan seksual dan pencegahannya. Pelatihan training of trainers (ToT) bagi para guru di SLB tentang coping stres dan pencegahan serta penanganan kekerasan seksual dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan bagi para siswa di SLB tentang bagaimana mengatasi stres dan mencegah kekerasan seksual yang rentan dialami oleh anak dan remaja penyandang disabilitas. Kegiatan pelatihan ini merupakan suatu bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan pada para guru di SLB Negeri Lobalain, Kabupaten Rote-Ndao. Sebanyak 17 orang guru mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan one-group pretest-posttest design dilakukan untuk mengukur efektivitas pelatihan. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang diberikan berpengaruh signifikan pada pemahaman peserta, t(16) = -5.738, p 0.001, d = -1.392.

Abstract

Bullying and seniority are phenomena that can be found across various social groups and age ranges. These behaviors occur not only among children or adolescents but also in daily interactions, including among the elderly. In nursing homes, for example, bullying persists despite the physical limitations that aging brings. This study aims to explore the impact and the underlying factors that contribute to seniority and bullying behaviors among older people. A qualitative approach was used, employing the photo-elicitation technique, with two participants who met the selection criteria. The results of the study indicate that seniority and bullying behaviors among older people are influenced by early character development, particularly by authoritarian parenting styles, as well as the social conditions that create bullying victims. The consequences of these behaviors include social sanctions, such as being ostracized from interaction with other residents.

Abstract

Abstract. Adolescence is a transitional period from childhood to adulthood. It’s atime when individuals have sexual curiosity and interest. Some teenagers are sexuallyactive, while others are not at all. Teenagers who have sex are at risk of experiencingunwanted pregnancies. The purpose of this study was to determine the descriptionof the meaning of life in teenagers who experience pregnancy outside of marriage.This study is a qualitative study with thematic analysis techniques. Sampling in thisstudy utilized purposive sampling, with a sample size of 5 participants. There arefour main themes found: 1) Initial response during pregnancy, 2) Challenges, 3)Experiential Values, and 4) Hopeful Values. It shows that teenagers who are pregnantoutside of marriage find sources of meaning in life through the love given by peoplearound them, spiritual activities, and hope for themselves and their children to havea better life in the future. Abstract

Instagram is a popular social media platform among teenagers and students. Its interesting features make users able to exist and show their abilities, beauty, or other unique things. However, if excessive, this can become a form of narcissism, one of which is influenced by self-esteem. This study examines the relationship between self-esteem and narcissistic tendencies in 221 Instagram user students from the Psychology Study Program at Nusa Cendana University, Kupang. Data were collected using the self-esteem scale and the narcissism tendency scale, based on Coopersmith's theory and Raskin and Terry. The purposive sampling method was used for sampling from a population of 521 students. Spearman correlation analysis showed a significant positive relationship (r = 0.246, p = 0.000), which means that the higher the self-esteem, the higher the narcissistic tendencies in college students who use Instagram. This finding confirms that self-esteem plays a role in influencing narcissistic behavior on social media.

Abstract

Academic stress is one of the problems faced by Psychology students of the Faculty of Public Health, Nusa Cendana University, especially when facing various academic demands. This study aims to examine the effect of problem-focused coping, a coping strategy centered on problem-solving, on academic stress. The research employed a quantitative explanatory approach with a survey design. Data were collected through questionnaires from 180 students. The analysis revealed that increased use of problem-focused coping was significantly negatively correlated with academic stress (p = 0.001). These findings underscore the importance of implementing problem-focused coping strategies to reduce academic stress and support the improvement of students’ well-being.

Abstract

The rising incidence of suicide among students highlights the urgent need to address mental health issues within this group. The primary challenges are that many students hesitate to seek professional help and are unwilling to speak up about their condition. Self-disclosure is one of the factors that can help students deal with mental health problems. This study aims to determine the factors that influence undergraduate students with mental disorders (MDGJ) to do self-disclosure. This study is a qualitative study. The participants in this study were 9 students who were willing to do follow-up interviews after screening. The data collection technique used was semi-structured interviews. Data analysis used thematic analysis. The results of the study found that there were two factors that influenced MDGJ self-disclosure, namely inhibiting and supporting factors. Inhibiting factors consist of family neglect and cognitive distortion, while supporting factors consist of peer support and attempts to seek help. The implication of this study is to provide interventions, such as forming peer counsellors.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh fakta fenomena dilingkungan masyarakat bahwa ibu single parent yang bekerja atau berpenghasilan di Kota kupang memiliki peran ganda sebagai pencari nafkah dan pengasuh utama anak, sehingga rentan mengalami stres baik dari tuntutan ekonomi, pengasuhan anak, maupun masalah sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran koping stres pada ibu bekerja single parent di Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah lima orang ibu single parent yang bekerja atau berpenghasilan di Kota Kupang, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ibu single parent di Kota Kupang menggunakan strategi koping stres yang beragam, yaitu koping berfokus pada emosi melalui penerimaan, penguatan diri dan berdoa (religiusitas) serta koping yang berfokus pada masalah kontrol perilaku, dan dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan referensi dan pertimbangan dalam upaya pemberian dukungan kepada ibu single parent agar mampu mengatasi stres dengan strategi yang tepat.
