Abstract

Disease lungs obstructive chronicle (COPD) is disease lungs Which marked by an increase resistance to air flow that is not completely reversible. Disease This is reason main morbidity and mortality which is chronic in the world. Every year many people suffer and die world because of this disease and its complications. This study aims to to determine the EFFECT OF PRONE POSITION AND CLAPPING ON SECRETION EXHAUST AND OXYGEN SATURATION Type study This is study quantitative with design study one group pre- posttest design. Sample on the process This using 7 Respondents Which suffer COPD. Analysis bivariate use test Wilcoxon Which aiming for know influence variable Prone Position and Clapping against secretion discharge and oxygen saturation. Results analysis bivariate use test Wilcoxon obtained mark p value = 0.025 then p value < 0.05 so H 0 rejected and H 1 accepted means there is The Effect of Prone Position on Breathing in Patients with Lung Disease Obstructive Chronicle (COPD). The prone position is a prone position that is recommended as an effort to overcome respiratory problems, namely reducing shortness of breath. The prone position is a position that is recommended as an effort to overcome respiratory problems, namely reducing shortness of breath. body client prone position where the head is lower than the shoulders, making the lung load more evenly distributed so that it can increase oxygen flow. This position is also believed to reduce lung pressure by intra-abdominal organs so that it will improve oxygenation and carbon dioxide clearance. Chest physiotherapy / Clapping is done by patting the chest or back to help loosen thick mucus in the lungs, so that it can come out easily through coughing. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of prone position and clapping on secretion discharge and oxygen saturation in patients with obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Abstract

Glaucoma is an eye disease characterized by increased intraocular pressure (IOP), which can cause pain and permanent vision loss. One non-pharmacological method that can be used to reduce pain is the Benson relaxation technique. The pain experienced by clients is influenced by a number of factors including past experiences with pain, anxiety, age, and expectations about pain relief. The first complaint of pain is felt around the eyelids and the back of the head, showing a decrease in visual acuity, then there is a halo or rainbow around the lights being seen and chemotherapies appear in the bulbar conjunctiva or edema with ciliary injection, severe corneal edema so that the cornea appears cloudy. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Benson relaxation technique in reducing pain intensity in glaucoma patients. The research method uses a pre-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach. The sample consisted of glaucoma patients who were given the Benson relaxation technique for 10-15 minutes, 1-2 times a day. The results showed a significant reduction in pain intensity after the intervention (p = 0.000, p < 0.05). This technique has been proven to be effective and can be used as a complementary nursing intervention in pain management in glaucoma patients.

Abstract

Diabetic neuropathy is a serious complication of diabetes mellitus that can lead to a decline in patients' quality of life. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of various approaches to diabetic neuropathy care, including nutrition, digital technology, clinical simulation, and traditional protocols. A systematic literature review (SLR) was used, analyzing six primary articles published between 2015 and 2025. The results showed that nutritional approaches such as Metanx can significantly reduce neuropathy symptoms and improve patients' quality of life. Digital technology approaches have also been shown to improve patients' self-efficacy and self-care behaviors, while virtual simulation can improve nurses' clinical skills. The conclusion of this study is that a more holistic and integrated approach is needed to improve the quality of life of diabetic neuropathy patients. Future research should include a more robust study design with an adequate control group to ensure the validity of the findings .
