Abstract

ABSTRACT Interprofessional education (IPE) has received increasing attention in the last ten years, and this is because patients need better health services, and health problems are increasingly complex. The Interprofessional team consists of professionals from various health sciences who have specific knowledge, attitudes, skills, and abilities. They have particular goals based on the patient's health care needs. Not all these health workers received good enough IPE when they went to school. In this study, researchers will examine the readiness and perceptions of lecturers in nursing faculty regarding IPE. There are several reasons why the IPE is necessary. This study aims to explore more deeply the perceptions and readiness of nursing lecturers regarding IPE implementation in nursing education. This study used a descriptive comparative and correlational design. The survey had responses from nursing lecturers (n = 53). The total lecturer's scores of RIPLS were high, with a mean score of 75.17 (SD=5.01) and a mean score of 74.55 (SD=8.27) of the IEPS total scores. When comparing the demographic data with the total scores of RIPLS and IEPS quantitatively, there were no significant differences. Also, statistically significant correlations were found between RIPLS and IEPS (p >0.0001). Keywords: Interprofessional Education (IPE); nursing; perception; readiness ABSTRAK Pendidikan interprofessional (IPE) mendapat perhatian yang semakin meningkat dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir, dan ini karena pasien membutuhkan pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih baik, dan masalah kesehatan yang semakin kompleks. Tim Interprofessional terdiri dari para profesional dari berbagai ilmu kesehatan yang memiliki pengetahuan, sikap, keterampilan, dan kemampuan tertentu. Mereka memiliki tujuan tertentu berdasarkan kebutuhan perawatan kesehatan pasien. Tidak semua tenaga kesehatan tersebut mendapatkan IPE yang cukup baik saat mereka bersekolah. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan mengkaji kesiapan dan persepsi dosen di fakultas keperawatan tentang IPE. Ada beberapa alasan mengapa IPE diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam persepsi dan kesiapan dosen keperawatan terhadap penerapan IPE dalam pendidikan keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif komparatif dan korelasional. Survei tersebut mendapat tanggapan dari dosen keperawatan (n = 53). Nilai otal RIPLS dosen tinggi, dengan rerata skor 75.17 (SD=5.01) dan rerata skor 7.,55 (SD=8.27) dari total skor IEPS. Jika membandingkan data demografi dengan total skor RIPLS dan IEPS secara kuantitatif, tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Abstract

This study aims to complete data articles related to interprofessional education in nursing so that accurate and comprehensive data can be obtained and are expected to be used as the basis for further research, especially in the development of interprofessional education. Research methods related to interprofessional education in nursing from 2010-2019 are based on data from Scopus, using the Publish or Perish (POP) search application, and using content analysis methods systematically. The results showed that the number of article publications had increased every year. This indicates that interprofessional competence in nursing education gets more attention from scientists and researchers. In conclusion, there is an increase in research tending to this topic every year. The highest search results of citations per article are 132. The journal that publishes interprofessional education the most used is bibliometrics. It is expected to see a map of research globally. Many are Journal of Interprofessional Care. Abstract

Seiring dengan masih belum tercapaian target 70% vaksinasi dosis ke 2 di Indonesia, sementara kasus baru varian Omicron telah masuk ke Indonesia, sehingga diperlukan program percepatan vaksinasi dosis ke 1, 2 dan booster (dosis ke 3). Tujuan dari program kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan upaya dalam peningkatan angka capaian sasaran vaksin covid-19 dalam usaha mencegah semakin tingginya prevalensi, menurunkan angka mortalitas dan morbiditas, serta mencegah dan mengantisipasi terjadinya gelombang lanjutan dari pandemik Covid-19. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah home visit/door to door melakukan promosi kesehatan, diskusi dan pemberian vaksin dosis 1, 2 dan 3 bagi masyarakat yang belum dilakukan vaksinasi. Hasil yang didapatkan selama kurang lebih satu bulan dari kegiatan PkM berbasis kepakaran bidang ilmu ini adalah adanya peningkatan capaian sebesar 0,85% vaksin dosis 1, sebesar 2,31% dosis 2 dan untuk dosis 3 sebesar 4,51%. Rencana tindak lanjut kedepannya, tim PkM bersama dengan pemerintahan desa lain dalam satu wilayah kerja Puskesmas yang sama akan secara kolaboratif dan partisipatif untuk mempercepat capaian vaksinasi Covid-19.

Abstract

Dosen keperawatan dituntut agar dapat mengevaluasi dan meningkatkan pemikiran kritis mahasiswa dalam menyusun asuhan keperawatan. Beberapa studi mengungkapkan bahwa metode pemetaan konsep dapat memberikan pengaruh positif dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh metode pemetaan konsep terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi-eksperimental. Penelitian ini melibatkan 43 mahasiswa tingkat dua di Sekolah Keperawatan. Kemampuan berpikir kritis diukur dengan Instrumen the Seventeen Dimensions of Critical Thinking and Written Examination dan lembar ujian tertulis. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan uji-t, uji Wilcoxon, uji Repeated ANOVA, dan uji Friedman. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada rerata skor berpikir kritis dan ujian tertulis setelah intervensi (masing-masing p=0,00). Metode pemetaan konsep membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan pemikiran kritis dengan melihat hubungan antarkonsep, mengatur dan mengelompokkan informasi dengan cara yang bermakna, berpikir jernih dan rasional, serta membuat penilaian berbasis pengetahuan. Diharapkan dosen keperawatan dapat memfasilitasi mahasiswa untuk berlatih menggunakan pemetaan konsep dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: berpikir kritis; mahasiswa keperawatan; pemetaan konsepAbstract  Nursing educators must possess the ability to assess and enhance students' critical thinking skills in the formulation of nursing care plans. Numerous research indicate that the concept mapping technique might positively impact the learning process. This study seeks to determine the impact of the concept mapping method on the critical thinking abilities of nursing students. This research employed a quantitative design utilising a quasi-experimental methodology. This research encompassed 43 second-year students at the School of Nursing. Critical thinking skills were assessed with the Seventeen Dimensions of Critical Thinking and Written Examination Instrument, along with written exam sheets. The acquired data were analysed utilising the t-test, Wilcoxon test, Repeated ANOVA test, and Friedman test. The study's results indicated a significant difference in the mean scores of critical thinking and written examinations post-intervention (each p = 0.00). The concept mapping method enhances students' critical thinking by elucidating relationships between concepts, systematically organising and categorising material, fostering clear and rational thought, and facilitating knowledge-based decision-making. Abstract

Background: Mental health issues, nutritional status, physical activity, and smoking behavior are among the most serious health problems among school-aged children, and they are closely linked to health-related behaviors. Literacy skills significantly influence these behaviors at this age; however, health literacy often receives insufficient attention from the government for this age group.Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide a comprehensive overview of health asset profiles and health literacy among elementary school-aged children.Methods: This cross-sectional study involved 431 sixth-grade students from the Sumedang district, recruited through a cluster sampling method. Various research instruments were employed, including the Family Affluence Scale (FAS III),  Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), Health Behaviours in School-Aged Children (HBSC), European Health Literacy Scale (HLS-EU), and the Newest Vital Sign (NVS) survey. Data were self-reported by participants, and BMI measurements were also collected. The Chi-square test was employed for statistical analysis.  Results: The results revealed notable variations across the assessed health asset profile sub-variables. Functional health literacy was significantly associated with self-esteem (p<0.001), student behavior (p=0.010), wake-up time (p<0.001), and smoking habit (p<0.001). In contrast, no significant associations were found with family affluence (p=0.868), BMI (p=0.809), physical activity (p=0.087), or bedtime (p=0.092). Gender-based comparisons revealed significant differences between boys and girls in self-esteem (p=0.042), BMI (p<0.001), physical activity (p<0.001), bedtime (p=0.004), wake-up time (p=0.005), and smoking behavior (p=0.001).  Conclusion: This study provides a comprehensive overview of health literacy in school-aged children, highlighting variations across health-related behaviors and asset profiles. Significant gender disparities were found in self-esteem, nutritional status, physical activity, bedtime, wake-up time, and smoking behavior. These findings highlight the importance of developing gender-sensitive health promotion strategies to enhance health literacy and promote healthy behaviors from early ages.

Abstract

Intracranial Space Occupying Lesion (SOL) after craniotomy poses a risk of impaired cerebral perfusion due to increased intracranial pressure (ICP). One of the non-invasive interventions is the 30° head elevation position. This study aims to determine the effect of 30-degree head elevation position on improving cerebral tissue perfusion in post-craniotomy SOL patients. The method used is Case Report evidence-based nursing care on one patient in the ICU at Umar Wirahadikusumah Hospital. The 30° head elevation intervention was carried out for four days, each 2 hours per day, with monitoring of GCS, MAP, and oxygen saturation. The results showed an improvement in consciousness status from GCS E4M5V4 to E4M6V5, a decrease in MAP from 123 mmHg to 93 mmHg, and an increase in SPO2 from 90% to 97%. It was concluded that 30° head elevation was effective in increasing cerebral perfusion, decreasing ICP, and improving the patient's neurological condition. This intervention is recommended as a standard procedure in critical care nursing for post-craniotomy patients.

Abstract

Anak usia prasekolah berada pada tahap perkembangan kritis, seperti pembentukan identitas dan membangun sosial. Anak berada dalam periode dimana sebagian besar dari aktivitas melibatkan unsur permainan. Penggunaan gadget atau gawai yang dikenal dengan istilah screen time yang berlebihan pada usia yang terlalu dini berdampak tidak baik dan bahkan dapat memunculkan pengaruh buruk bagi anak-anak. Perlu adanya tindakan agar orang tua mengetahui pedoman dalam memberikan screen time bagi anak-anak mereka dengan permainan yang mendidik. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua agar anak dapat terhindar dari dampak screen time dengan permainan edukatif montessori. Metode pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan yang terdiri dari lima langkah yaitu identifikasi masalah, menetapkan masalah kesehataan yang ada, perencanaan,implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil monitoring dan evaluasi dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan dilakukan post-test mengenai persepsi orang tua terhadap permainan edukatif Montessori. Permainan edukatif Montessori memberikan dampak terhadap persepsi orang tua menjadi lebih lebih baik terutama mengenai keterlibatan orang tua dalam melatih kemampuan motorik dan sensorik anak, sebagai langkah tepat untuk mengurangi dampak screen time yang terlalu lama pada anak. Preschool children are at a critical stage of development, such as identity formation and social development. Children are in a period where most of their activities involve play elements. Excessive use of gadgets or devices, known as screen time at an early age, has a negative impact and can even negatively influence children. Action is needed so that parents know the guidelines for providing screen time for their children with educational games. This Community Service aims to increase parental knowledge so children can avoid screen time's impact with Montessori educational games. The Community Service method that will be carried out uses the nursing care theory, which consists of five steps: identifying problems, determining existing health problems, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This community service program's monitoring and evaluation results were good, as they were conducted by conducting a post-test on parents' perceptions of Montessori educational games. Education for parents about the importance of stimulating children with Montessori educational games has an impact on better parental perceptions of the importance of Montessori games that involve children's motor and sensory abilities as the right step to reduce the impact of too much screen time on children.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang. Pembelajaran klinik atau lapangan adalah kegiatan pembelajaran yang diselenggarakan di lingkungan klinik termasuk di dalamnya adalah rumah sakit, klinik, rumah bersalin, puskesmas dan masyarakat. Pendidikan keperawatan sangat berkaitan erat antara pembelajaran di kelas dan pembelajaran di klinik, karena pembelajaran di klinik merupakan elemen yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan keperawatan. Pembelajaran klinik memfasilitasi peserta didik agar terpapar oleh berbagai macam aspek social, kultural, biologis, psikologis dan mental dalam merawat pasien. Pendidik klinik mempunyai tanggung jawab penting dalam memberikan motivasi untuk meningkatkan percaya diri mahasiswa. Tujuan. Memperoleh gambaran demografi pendidik klinik keperawatan dan memperoleh gambaran kepuasan pendidik klinik sebagai pendidik klinik keperawatan secara secara subjektif. Metodologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif yang akan memberikan gambaran secara akurat mengenai karakteristik demografi pendidik klinik keperawatan dan tingkat kepuasannya sebagai pendidik klinik keperawatan. Subjek penelitian adalah pendidik klinik atau dalam keperawatan lebih dikenal dengan clinical instructor (CI) yang pernah atau sedang melaksanakan proses bimbingan klinik baik di rumah sakit ataupun di puskesmas dengan teknik total sampling yaitu sebanyak 60 responden. Hasil penelitian. Terdapat karakteristik clinical instructor yang bervariasi jumlah terbanyak adalah perempuan pada rentang usia >40- 50 tahun, mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan rata-rata S1 Keperawatan+Ners dengan pengalaman kerja pada rentang >5-10 tahun. Skala kepuasan pada rentang tinggi sehingga dapat disimpulkan mempunyai kepuasan yang tinggi pula. Kesimpulan. Mengingat pentingnya peran Clinical Instructor maka sangat perlu untuk diperhatikan kualifikasi clinical instructor yang terstandar. Dalam hal ini perlu di buat standar misalnya mengacu pada pendidikan di luar negeri bahwa clinical instructor harus ditentukan kualifikasi pendidikan, kemudian pengalaman bekerja sesuai dengan keahlian yang dimilikinya, dan mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengajar Kata kunci: Pendidik klinik; Clinical instructor; pembelajaran klinik ABSTRACT Background. This study uses a descriptive research method that will provide an accurate picture of the demographic characteristics of a nursing clinic educator and its level of satisfaction as a nursing clinic educator. The research subjects were clinical educators or in nursing better known to clinical instructors (CI) who have been or are currently conducting clinical guidance in the hospital or the health centres with a total sampling technique of 60 respondents. Abstract

Ketidaksiapan remaja dalam menghadapi perubahan fisik maupun psikologis yang terjadi akan menimbulkan berbagai perilaku yang berisiko seperti kenakalan remaja, penyalahgunaan obat terlarang, penyakit menular seksual, kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan, dan aborsi. Hal tersebut terutama dikarenakan pada masa remaja terjadi perubahan baik biologis maupun psikologis pada sistem reproduksinya. Informasi yang cukup dan terarah akan menghindari adanya kesalahan persepsi terhadap perubahan yang terjadi pada diri remaja tersebut. Metode pendidikan kesehatan dari teman sebaya dianggap lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan sumber informasi lainnya dan juga sebaya mempunyai peran yang cukup strategis dalam tahapan perkembangan psikososial remaja. Sehingga untuk mengatasi hal tersebut maka sebagai tahap awal agar program ini berjalan lancar maka di dilaksanakan pelatihan pendidik sebaya dengan fokus utama adalah pada kesehatan reproduksi remaja untuk seluruh SMP dan SMA. Secara umum tahapan pendidikan sebaya meliputi introduction, investigation, interpretation, intervention, dan evaluation. Teknik pendidikan sebaya yang dilatihkan pada siswa adalah keterampilan attending, empathy, asking, genuine, confrontating, summarizing, dan problem solving. Indikator keberhasilan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat salah satunya adalah antusiasme dari seluruh sekolah yang menjadi khalayak sasaran dapat mengikutsertakan 6 orang siswanya untuk mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan pendidik sebaya selama 3 hari berturut-turut sesuai dengan jadwal yang sudah ditentukan dengan 100% kehadiran.

Abstract

Tanjungkerta District is an area with a relatively high level of disaster risk, which requires strong preparedness from the community, particularly through the role of the Disaster-Resilient Village Task Force. This study aims to describe the preparedness level of task force members in carrying out disaster management efforts. The research employed a descriptive quantitative design with a total of eighty-five respondents selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire assessing four aspects of preparedness, namely training experience, readiness for assignment, access to information, and governance and institutional support. The findings show that training experience obtained an average score of 3.46 and readiness for assignment reached 3.61, both categorized as ready. Governance and institutional support also fell into the ready category with an average score of 3.57. Meanwhile, access to information received an average score of 3.20, indicating an almost ready level. Overall, the preparedness level of the task force was categorized as ready with an average score of 3.43. These results indicate that the task force has demonstrated good preparedness; however, further strengthening of information access and continuous capacity development is still required.
