Abstract

School and community relations are important pillars in advancing the institution. Therefore, good management is needed in its management, so that a harmonious relationship is formed between the institution and the community. This paper aims to describe the function of public relations management (HUMAS) in Islamic educational institutions which includes planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. The method used in this research is literature study where research utilizes library sources in obtaining research data. Data collection begins with a review of books, literature studies, notes, and reports that have a relationship with public relations management at Islamic educational institutions. The results of this paper indicate that Islamic educational institutions are currently implementing public relations management (HUMAS) but have not implemented it optimally. This can be seen from the various studies that have been carried out by researchers with the results of their research that many Islamic educational institutions do not function public relations management (HUMAS) so that it has a negative impact on institutions, which makes institutional and community relations not good and in the end the public's trust is lost. against institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the professionalism of Islamic education teachers in improving the learning process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kurnia Jambi City. The main problem discussed is why the professionalism of Islamic Religious education teachers in improving the learning process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kurnia Jambi City is not optimal. As a qualitative-descriptive research, data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. While the determination of research subjects using snowball sampling technique. The results of the study show that regarding their professionalism, teachers lack insight in planning lessons. In addition, the problem of discipline and inadequate teacher work experience also adds to the problem of teacher professionalism. An issue that is no less important is that in an effort to improve the learning process, teachers have not paid attention to learning according to content and process standards. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji profesionalitas guru pendidikan Agama Islam dalam peningkatan proses pembelajaran di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kurnia Kota Jambi. Permasalahan utama yang dibahas adalah mengapa profesionalitas guru pendidikan Agama Islam dalam peningkatan proses pembelajaran di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kurnia Kota Jambi belum optimal. Sebagai penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terkait profesionalitasnya, guru kurang memiliki wawasan dalam merencanakan pembelajaran. Selain itu, persoalan disiplin dan pengalaman bekerja guru yang belum memadai juga menambah persoalan profesionalitas guru. Persoalan yang tidak kalah pentingnya adalah bahwa dalam upaya peningkatan proses pembelajaran, guru belum memperhatikan pembelajaran sesuai standar isi dan proses.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research is to evaluate the performance of Natural Sciences teachers at MTs Nurul Huda in Muaro Jambi Regency. Methodology: This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The sampling technique is the Purposive sampling technique. The sample in this research was the Natural Sciences teacher at MTs Nurul Huda in Muaro Jambi Regency. Data collection in this research was carried out using document analysis and interview techniques. Document analysis using document assessment sheets. The data analysis technique used is the Miles & Huberman technique. Main Findings: Based on the results of interviews with MTs Nurul Huda Natural Sciences teachers in Muaro Jambi Regency, planning, implementation, and assessment were good. Likewise, attention from foundations and school principals should give full attention to teachers so that they can continue to develop their potential and improve their teaching performance. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research can provide a more comprehensive and contextual view in evaluating teacher performance and efforts to improve the quality of learning at MTs Nurul Huda in Muaro Jambi Regency. This can also support updates in general teacher performance evaluation methods in the educational environment.

Abstract

The influence of Social Media at this time is extraordinary. In addition to communication tools, social media can also act as an information center that allows users to find out all the information that is currently happening. On the other hand, social media can also be something that is very scary for us, especially for students. Some students misuse social media not for learning purposes but for unproductive things. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, the Indonesian government has adopted a policy of online learning or online learning. Online can also be interpreted as a situation where computers or laptops can exchange information, because they are connected to the internet network, this then makes all students must have a cellphone or laptop. When students use cellphones and computers, they also access social media. The role of social media for students in achieving success or supporting learning achievement is very large. The role of teachers and parents is expected to be able to help students in limiting themselves to excessive use of social media. The purpose of this article is to determine the extent of the influence of social media on children's character education, learning achievement, the negative and positive impacts of social media and the role of teachers in schools in limiting students' use of social media.

Abstract

This study analyzed 1) the management of the basic components of Islamic education; 2) the construction of a curriculum management framework for enhancing the quality of Indonesian graduates; and 3) assess the role of IQF as the current Higher Education Curriculum in resolving the difficulties with Indonesian graduate quality. This study takes the form of a literature review that is explained qualitatively. Based on the findings of the investigations, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) management of the basic components of Islamic educational, which include: (a) management of Islamic education personnel, (b) management of Islamic education students, (c) management of Islamic education curriculum, (d) Islamic education financial management, and (e) management of Islamic education facilities and infrastructure; 2) building a curriculum management framework for enhancing the quality of Indonesian graduates, which will include the following stages: (a) planning, (b) implementation, and (c) curriculum evaluation; and 3) it is envisaged that the IQF policy will help to improve the quality of Indonesian graduates.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pada Dampak Media Sosial Instagram Terhadap Minat Berkunjung Wisatawan Di Danau Sipin Kecamatan Telanaipura Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Bagaimana Dampak Media Sosial Instagram Terhadap minat Berwisata diobjek Wisata Danau Sipin Danau Sipin Kecamatan Telanaipura Kota Jambi, Apa Saja Faktor Pendukung Wisatawan Untuk Mengunjungi Objek Wisata Danau Sipin Kecamatan Telanai Pura Kota Jambi dan Bagaimana Respon Wisatawan Setelah Mengunjungi Objek Wisata Danau Sipin Kecamatan Telanai Pura Kota Jambi. Jenis metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (Field research). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, pengajian data dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Dampak negatif media sosial akan membuat seseorang sangat sering mengecek smartphone untuk melihat update. Kecanduan media sosial dapat berdampak buruk terhadap kesehatan mental. Dampak positif dari media sosial banyak sekali seperti bahan hiburan, media berintraksi dengan teman saudara serta secara cepat untuk bisa mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan dengan cepat dan mudah serta mengasah skill untuk berjualan online dengan media sosial. Faktor pendukung wisatawan untuk mengunjungi objek wisata danau sipin ini selain tempatnya terjangkau, Masyarakat juga banyak datang berbondong-bondong bersama keluarga, teman. Sebagai sarana atraksi yang memadai dan ditunjang dengan harga tiket bermain yang cukup terjangkau. Respon wisatawan yang murah meriah dan juga sangat bisa untuk kumpul bersama keluarga membawa anak-anak sambal menikmati makan diatas perahu sambal ditemani angin yang sepay-sepoy.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia telah mengalami transformasi signifikan dari masa kolonial Belanda hingga era modern saat ini. Pada masa kolonial, sistem pendidikan bersifat diskriminatif karena hanya terbatas pada kalangan bangsawan dan anak-anak Eropa, sehingga memperlebar kesenjangan sosial. Sebaliknya, pendidikan Indonesia kontemporer berupaya mewujudkan asas kesetaraan, wajib belajar, dan pengembangan potensi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbedaan historis dan konseptual antara sistem pendidikan kolonial Belanda dengan sistem pendidikan Indonesia saat ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dengan menelaah berbagai buku sejarah, jurnal akademik, dan dokumen pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem kolonial lebih menekankan kepentingan politik dan ekonomi Belanda, sedangkan pendidikan nasional Indonesia menekankan inklusivitas, demokratisasi, dan kualitas pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pembelajaran dari sejarah untuk memperkuat arah kebijakan pendidikan nasional yang lebih adaptif, merata, dan berdaya saing global

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi mengelola program tahfidz. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif, yaitu metode kualitatif yang mengandalkan alat pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Berdasarkan analisis proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Manajemen Kepala Sekolah Dalam Menerjemahkan Program Tahfidz di SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi telah dilaksanakan secara efektif. Permasalahan yang membantu dan menghambat perkembangan program tahfidz di SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi. Sarana dan prasarana, memiliki pengajar hafidz, Al-Quran, dan variabel lingkungan merupakan aspek pendukung. Prasarana dan sarana yang kurang memadai, permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan siswa, dan rasio pengajar tahfidz terhadap siswa merupakan faktor penghambat. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala Manajemen Tahfidz di SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi antara lain dengan memanfaatkan sarana dan prasarana yang ada, memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik, serta menambah guru untuk memimpin kelas Tahfidz Al-Qur'an.
