Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence with teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Langkat Regency. The formulation of the problems posed in this study are: 1) Is there a relationship between interpersonal communication and teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Kab. Depart? 2) Is there a relationship between emotional intelligence and teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Kab. Depart? 3) Is there a relationship between interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence with teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat, district. Depart? The type of research used is quantitative using a correlational approach, namely research that seeks to see the relationship between variables. The study population was all teachers of MTs Negeri Kab. Langkat numbered 41 people. Because the population is 41 people, the entire population is used as a research sample and is called total sampling. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques with multiple linear regression. After the research data were analyzed, the following results were obtained: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between teacher interpersonal communication (X 1 ) and teacher achievement motivation (Y) at MTs Negeri Stabat with a strong correlation level at the correlation coefficient value of 0.717. Meanwhile, the value of the ridge strength that occurs between the two variables is 0.717 or 71.7%. 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between teachers' emotional intelligence (X 2 ) and achievement motivation (Y) at MTs Negeri Stabat with a strong correlation level at the correlation coefficient value of 0.704. While the value of the strength of the relationship that occurs between the two variables is 0.704 or 70.4%. 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between teacher interpersonal communication (X 1 ) and teacher emotional intelligence (X 2 ) with teacher achievement motivation (Y) at MTs Negeri Stabat at a correlation level of 0.717. Meanwhile, the value of the strength of the relationship that occurs between the two variables is 0.717 or 71.7%. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between interpersonal communication and teachers' emotional intelligence with teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Kab. Leave. This means that the higher the interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence of the teacher, the better the achievement motivation of the teacher.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to obtain a detailed description of (1) Planning extracurricular activities in character building of students (2) Organizing extracurricular activities in character building of students (3) Directing extracurricular activities in character building of students and (4) Controlling extracurricular activities in shaping the character of students at PPM Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi. This study uses a qualitative approach, the type of phenomenological research, and the descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques are carried out by; participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The data analysis process is carried out starting from; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Test the validity of the data by triangulation and member checks. The results of this study are (1) Planning for extracurricular activities in the formation of students' character is carried out in the form of preparing extracurricular activity programs which are then used as a reference in its implementation. The program development process is preceded by an analysis of the required resources, collaboratively enforced, and socialized at the beginning of the school year. (2) Organizing extracurricular activities in forming the character of students as a whole is integrated with the madrasa organization. The organizing process consists of; determination of resources, the division of tasks according to their field of expertise, determined by the Decree of the Head of Madrasah, making agreements to shape the character of students through routine activities, for example, spontaneous action, and conditioning. (3) The direction of extracurricular activities in the formation of the character of students is carried out to ensure that the implementation of activities is directed at the goals that have been set in the planning. The briefing process includes; implementation of activities according to the plan, the pattern of activities includes (introduction, core, closing), teachers/coaches prioritize exemplary, effective leadership, problem-solving together, commitment to tasks, functions, and roles, (4) Control of extracurricular activities in the formation of student character implemented through; monitoring, assessment, and reporting. The control process includes; monitoring the implementation of activities, evaluating activities through process assessments and results assessments, the majority of students obtain satisfactory results, but still need to optimize the existing elements in planning, organizing, directing and controlling, and efforts to improve the readiness of the supporting components are needed.Keywords: Management, Extracurricular, Character

Abstract

The objectives of this quasi experimental research were to discover applying whether: (1) the learning achievement of students’ Islamic eduction taught by applying simulation instructional strategy were higher than students’ learning achievement in Islamic education taught by applying expository instructional strategy, (2) the learning  achievement of students’ Islamic education with high learning student independent than the learning achievement of students’ Islamic education with low learning  student independent, and (3) there was are an interaction between instructional strategy and learning student independentin affecting the learning achievement of students’ Islamic education. The Research findings releaved that: (1) on average the students’ learning achievement taught by applying simulation instructional strategy     = 28.12 higher than the average students’ learning achievement taught by applying expository learning strategy  = 27.00 with Fcount = 113.96 > Ftable = 3.984, (2) on average the students’ learning achievement with high learning student independent was = 29.61 higher than the learning learning student independent with low = 25.93 with Fcount = 7.66 > Ftable = 3.984, and (3) there was an interaction between instructional strategy and learning learning student independent toward learning achievement in Islamic education with Fcount = 35.48 > F table = 3.984.

Abstract

this study was to determine: 1) the communication strategy of supervisors in improving the professionalism of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 15 Langkat; 2) The media used by supervisors in carrying out communication at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 15 Langkat; and 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for Supervisory Communication Strategies in increasing the professionalism of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 15 Langkat.This thesis research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The collection techniques used interview, observation and documentary studies, while to strengthen the validity of the data findings and the authenticity of the research, the researcher referred to the use of data validity standards consisting of creadibility, transferability, dependability and comfirmability. The results of this study are: 1) supervisory communication strategies in increasing the professionalism of teachers at MIN 15 Langkat in the form of interpersonal techniques with open, informative, persuasive, educational and instructive; 2) The media is used by supervisors in carrying out communication at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 15 Langkat in addition to holding face-to-face communication also using information communication technology (ICT) using the WhatsApp application by creating a group for 15 Langkat Madrasah, this media is considered quite effective in carrying out madrasah development activities as a whole, including specifically the principal and teachers; and 3) Supporting factors for the effectiveness of supervisory communication strategies in increasing the professionalism of teachers due to the emergence of a good sense of togetherness and kinship so far. This sense of togetherness and kinship makes a strong bond in the communication process in madrasas and there are no significant obstacles in communicating with supervisors.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Know the learning outcomes of students who are taught by problem-based learning strategies and student learning outcomes taught by expository learning. (2) Knowing the learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History students who have high logical thinking skills and students who have low logical thinking skills, and (3) Knowing the interaction between learning strategies and students' logical thinking abilities on learning outcomes of IslamicCultural History. This study used an experimental method with a quasi-experimental 2 x 2 factorial design. The population in this study were all students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Aceh Tamiang which consisted of three parallel classes, namely class XII1, XII2, XII3. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The data collection technique is done by testing. The finding of the research showed that: (1) The learning outcomes of students who were taught the history of Islamic culture with problem-based learning ( = 28) were higher than the learning outcomes of students who were taught using expository strategies ( = 26.97), with F count = 29.56 > F table = 3,968 (2) Students' learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History based on high logical thinking skills ( = 30) were higher than low logical thinking skills ( = 26.06), with F count = 4.47 > F table = 3,968 (3 ) there is an interaction between the learning strategy and the ability to think logically on the learning outcomes of students' Islamic Cultural History. The statistic is found to be 9.88 > F table = 3.968.

Abstract

The objectives of the research are: (1) to find out the implementation of muhadharah extracurricular activities at the Mudi Mesra Samalanga Islamic Boarding School, Bireuen Aceh Regency, and (2) to determine the character building of the students through muhadharah activities at the Mudi Mesra Samalanga Islamic Boarding School, Bireuen Aceh Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods, namely to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the research subject, for example behavior, perception, motivation, action and others, holistically and by way of description in the form of words and language, in a special natural context. and by utilizing various natural methods, and in reasonable field situations as they are without manipulation. The results of this study can be concluded as follows: (1) the implementation of muhadharah extracurricular activities at Dayah Mudi Mesra Samalanga, Bireuen Aceh Regency, there are 3 muhadharah extracurricular activities, namely Speeches (Lectures) in 3 Languages, Muharram competitions and Dalāil al-Khaīrāt, and (2) character formation in students through muhadharah activities at Dayah Mudi Mesra Samalanga, Bireuen Aceh Regency. Characters are formed from speeches/lectures in 3 languages (English, Arabic and Indonesian) namely religious, honest, confident, responsible and disciplined. The characters formed from the Muharram competition are religious, responsible, and confident. Characters formed from following Dalāil al-Khaīrāt are religious, disciplined and confident.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the pattern of developing transformational leadership in creating effective madrasah (Multisite Study at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Deli Serdang Regency). This research uses a multi-site qualitative research method, which was conducted at MAN 1 Deli Serdang and MAN 2 Deli Serdang. The results of this study concluded that the Head of MAN Deli Serdang carried out leadership with a Transformational model in accordance with the theory of M Bass and BJ. Valio which consists of 4 aspects viz.ideal influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulus, as well as individual considerations that are maximally applied so as to increase the effectiveness of madrasas at MAN Deli Serdan. The Pattern of Transformational Leadership Development for the Head of MAN Deli Serdang in Creating Effective Madrasas by applying Transformational Leadership According to Bass and Valio, namely ideal influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulus, and individual considerations by also implementing development, namely digital Leadership, Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, with this development will increase transformational leadership in realizing effective madrasas.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan risiko keluhan, kematian serta hambatan pada masa pertumbuhan baik itu dari motorik maupun mental. program PERMATA BUNDA (Pemberian Makanan Tambahan Bagi Ibu Hamil dan Anak Balita) adalah salah satu upaya pemenuhan zat gizi spesifik dalam rangka mendukung 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan dan pemenuhan Standar Pelayanan Minimal Bidang Kesehatan, terutama untuk ibu hamil, bayi dan balita, serta mendorong terwujudnya generasi Barito Kuala yang tumbuh sehat dan bebas stunting. Hasil yang didapatkan dari implementasi PERMATA BUNDA dibutuhkan komitmen dan dukungan dari pemangku kebijakan, agar kebersinambungan manfaatnya dapat terus dirasakan masayarakat, karena Program PERMATA BUNDA terbukti dapat menurunkan kasus stunting di Barito Kuala, yaitu 16,86% pada tahun 2020 menjadi 12,56% pada tahun 2022 berdasarkan data ePPBGM tahun 2022. Kata Kunci: Permata Bunda; Stunting; Barito Kuala Stunting is a health problem associated with an increased risk of complaints, death, and obstacles during the growth period, both motor and mental. The PERMATA BUNDA program (Providing Supplementary Food for Pregnant Women and Toddlers) is one of the efforts to meet specific nutrition needs in order to support the First 1000 Days of Life and meet Minimum Service Standards in the Health Sector, particularly for pregnant women, infants, and toddlers, as well as encourage the creation of a new generation of Barito Kuala that are growing healthy and free of stunting. The Permata Bunda program is funded through budget synergy from the Village Community Empowerment Service for making ready-to-eat food menus for non-Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) pregnant women and undernourished toddlers, while for pregnant women and toddlers with KEK, the budget source is Health Operational Costs at the Health Center. The implementation of PERMATA BUNDA requires commitment and support from stakeholders, so that the benefits can continue to be felt by the community, because the PERMATA BUNDA Program has been proven to be able to reduce stunting cases in Barito Kuala, namely from 16.86% in 2020 to 12.56% in 2022 based on data from ePPBGM in 2022.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the most important effect of transformational leadership on teacher professionalism. Development at SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. This study method is a quantitative study survey research type. 60 teachers participated in this study. Principals and teachers were used as examples. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Dat collection instruments with questionnaires and data analysis techniques with normality test, linearity test and homogeneity test and hypothesis testing (using t-test). The result of this study show that there is a positive and significant effect between the main variable and teacher professionalism ini Muhammadiyah 01 Medan Private High School. This is eviident form the result of the hypothesis testing, which shows that the main transformational leadership contributes 0.388 X 100% = 38.8% to teacher professionalism. The t-test performed gave a tnumber = 3.870 whilw the ttabel value = 2.042. Since tnumber (3.870) > ttabel (2.042), it showsjthat there is a positive and significant effect in the form of a linear and predictive relationship between the main variable and professionalism of teachers in SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. Regression line Ŷ = 46.654 + 0.322 X.

Abstract

This research aims to examine in depth the influence of completing the principal’s tasks on teacher work motivation in schools. Teacher work motivation is an important element that can influence the quality of teaching and learning in the classroom, which ultimately has an impact on student achievement. The principal has a central role in managing the school and supporting teachers through a variety of administrative and personnel tasks. Effective completion of the principal’s duties is expected to create a conducive work environment, provide clear direction, and improve the work environment. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a correlational type. This research used a total sampling technique with a sample size of all educators and education staff totaling 37. The research instrument for this research was a questionnaire consisting of 25 statements for each variable. The results of hypothesis testing show that the completion of the principal’s duties has an influence on teacher work motivation of 0.149 x 100% = 14.9%. Through the t test that has been carried out, it turns out that the t count = 4.709 while the t table value = 2.042. Because t count (4.709) > t table (2.042), this shows that there is a positive and significant contribution between the principal’s task completion variable and teacher work motivation at Pahlawan National Middle School in Medan in the form of a linear and predictive relationship via a regression line Ŷ = 126.564 + 0.855 X.
