Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi dan implementasi budidaya jamur tiram sebagai strategi pengembangan ekonomi masyarakat di Nagari Tanjung Alai, Kecamatan X Koto Singkarak. Melalui pendekatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan, kami berusaha meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang teknik budidaya yang efektif, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga secara berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian mencakup serangkaian kegiatan penyuluhan, pelatihan praktis, dan pendampingan teknis kepada petani dan masyarakat setempat. Informasi diperoleh melalui survei partisipatif, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara dengan petani. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi dampak program terhadap peningkatan produksi jamur tiram dan pendapatan keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi budidaya jamur tiram memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pendapatan keluarga di Nagari Tanjung Alai. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam budidaya jamur tiram secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas dan kualitas hasil panen. Selain itu, adopsi teknik budidaya yang baik juga mendorong terbentuknya jaringan kerjasama antarpetani, memperkuat aspek sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran praktis tentang potensi budidaya jamur tiram sebagai alternatif pengembangan ekonomi lokal. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa dengan dukungan pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan pihak terkait lainnya, budidaya jamur tiram dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Nagari Tanjung Alai dan daerah sekitarnya. Dengan meningkatnya partisipasi masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan, diharapkan program ini dapat diterapkan dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam rangka mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to calculate the standard time to produce the right time in producing corn thresher machine, so that the production capacity in one month is obtained at CV. Citra Dragon. Observations was made in the manufacture of corn threshing machine. Working time data was collected using stopwactch time study and adjustment method used was Westinghouse. The research method use was to analyze the work done by operators in the manufacture of corn thresher machine, and calculate the operator’s working time per work element. The result showed that the standard time needed in the process of making 1 unit of corn thresher machine is 78.603 second (21 hours) and the production capacity per month is 7 units of corn thresher machine.

Abstract

Revolution of industry 4.0 initiated by the German government, starting from the development of individual innovation behavior especially in the fields of robotics, digital technology, and information, has caused distortions to the future skills requirements. Some of the skills needed a lot in the past are now starting to experience a shift towards less needed. Some are even unnecessary because they are replaced by automation and robots. The emergence of several new skills (skills 4.0) that are more dominant is needed to make every interested party to prepare themselves to face the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0. Students are one of the interested parties who will face the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0 after they graduates from the formal higher education. This study determines the readiness of students in facing the revolution of industry 4.0, influenced by the mastery of skills 4.0 and individual innovation behavior with their innovation behavior as a mediating variable. Respondents in this study are 233 undergraduate students of the Andalas University. Using a cluster sampling technique, the data is collected using Likert scale based- questionnaire after which calculations are then performed using the Smart-PLS Program software 3.2.8. The results show that skills 4.0 and individual innovation behavior have a positive effect on students' readiness in facing the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0. It implies that the students need to improve their mastery of skills 4.0 in order to prepare themselves to face the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0.

Abstract

The study's main purpose is to evaluate how digital transformation, knowledge management practices, and market orientation interact, thereby affecting productivity in the retail industry of Indonesia. The researchers that the rivalries in the retail sector may lead to the question that the companies would be forced to respond technology-wise and market-wise almost instantly to the customer's behavior, in this instance, the customers and marketing strategies changes. The research adopts a quantitative method for collecting data from 150 participants who include operational staff, supervisors, and managers of retailers where digital systems have been installed. The investigators applied the purposive sampling method with the work experience and involvement in the company's digitalization as the criteria. The questionnaire items were subjected to validation for item-total validity plus reliability through Cronbach's Alpha and thereafter went through classical assumptions such as normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity before being further analyzed by multiple linear regression. The findings show that the performance of retail business is positively and significantly influenced by all three independent variables. The present research, from the theoretical standpoint, contributes to the understanding of retail strategic management and digital transformation in the literature. Moreover, it also paves the way for practice by suggesting that retail firms gradually adopt technology, engage in knowledge management, and improve their market orientation in order to achieve and sustain high business performance.

Abstract

Pengelolaan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3) pada industri kecil dan menengah (IKM) sangat penting dalam memastikan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan produktif. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi K3 di Cahaya Mulia Bakery, sebuah IKM di Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara, ditemukan bahwa IKM ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan terkait pemahaman dan pelaksanaan K3. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa Cahaya Mulia Bakery telah mempertahankan kebersihan, sanitasi, dan pengelolaan limbah yang baik, serta menyediakan ventilasi dan pencahayaan yang memadai. Penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) dan prosedur keselamatan lainnya juga diterapkan dengan benar, yang ditunjukkan oleh minimnya insiden kecelakaan kerja. Namun, ada kebutuhan untuk terus meningkatkan kesadaran pekerja terhadap K3 dan mengadopsi teknologi baru untuk mengurangi risiko. Program pelatihan K3 yang berkelanjutan dan evaluasi berkala juga diidentifikasi sebagai langkah penting ke depan. Secara keseluruhan, Cahaya Mulia Bakery telah menunjukkan komitmen yang signifikan terhadap praktik K3, yang telah menghasilkan lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman dan efisien. Namun, perhatian lebih lanjut diperlukan dalam aspek peningkatan fasilitas, pelatihan berkelanjutan, dan keterlibatan pekerja dalam keputusan terkait K3 untuk lebih memperkuat implementasi K3 di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Dalam upaya untuk mengembangkan solusi pengendalian hama yang ramah lingkungan, penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan pestisida nabati yang terbuat dari campuran daun pepaya (Carica papaya), daun jambu biji (Psidium guajava), dan daun meniran (Phyllanthus niruri), dengan tambahan Effective Microorganisms 4 (EM 4) dan deterjen bubuk. Daun pepaya mengandung senyawa papain, karpain, saponin, dan tanin yang bersifat antibakteri dan antifungi, serta efektif dalam merusak sistem pencernaan hama. Daun jambu biji memiliki tanin, flavonoid, saponin, dan asam oleanolat dengan kemampuan antimikroba dan repelan serangga, sedangkan daun meniran mengandung flavonoid, tanin, dan saponin yang dapat merusak membran sel patogen. Penambahan EM 4 dalam formulasi pestisida nabati ini membantu memperbaiki struktur tanah, meningkatkan efektivitas penguraian bahan organik, serta mendukung proses detoksifikasi, sehingga memperkuat kemampuan pengendalian hama. Selain itu, deterjen bubuk digunakan sebagai surfaktan untuk meningkatkan daya sebar pestisida dan meningkatkan penetrasi bahan aktif ke dalam sistem hama. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan alternatif pengendalian hama yang efektif dan aman bagi lingkungan, serta mendukung praktik pertanian berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget yang tidak terkontrol pada anak usia sekolah dasar dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan fisik dan mental, seperti gangguan tidur, menurunnya kemampuan bersosialisasi, serta risiko gangguan emosional. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, orang tua, dan guru mengenai bahaya penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan, serta mendorong terbentuknya pola penggunaan teknologi yang sehat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 02 2x11 Enam Lingkung, Korong Balai Satu, Nagari Lubuk Pandan, dengan melibatkan 90 siswa, 27 orang tua, 11 guru, serta dosen dan mahasiswa KKN dari Universitas Ekasakti (UNES) sebagai penyuluh. Metode kegiatan meliputi presentasi edukatif, diskusi interaktif, pemutaran video edukasi, simulasi peran, dan pembagian lembar edukasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap dampak negatif gadget dan munculnya komitmen bersama untuk menerapkan kebiasaan digital yang sehat. Penyuluhan ini terbukti efektif dan relevan sebagai langkah preventif dalam membentuk kesadaran serta perilaku bijak dalam penggunaan gadget pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

The increasing complexity of global manufacturing competition requires industries to continuously improve operational efficiency while minimizing production waste. Medium and large-scale industries frequently encounter inefficiencies such as overproduction, waiting time, excess inventory, and product defects that negatively affect productivity and operational performance. This study aims to analyze lean manufacturing strategies for reducing waste and improving production efficiency in medium and large-scale industries through a qualitative literature review approach. Data were collected from relevant academic publications indexed in major scientific databases and analyzed using comparative thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that the most dominant lean manufacturing strategies include 5S, Kaizen, Just in Time (JIT), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), all of which contribute significantly to reducing non-value-added activities and improving production flow efficiency. The study also reveals that lean implementation differs according to organizational scale. Medium-sized industries tend to emphasize flexibility and participative improvement systems, whereas large-scale industries rely more heavily on integrated management structures and technological support. In addition, common implementation barriers include weak management commitment, employee resistance, and insufficient organizational readiness. This study contributes academically by developing a comparative synthesis of lean manufacturing implementation based on industrial scale, highlighting that the effectiveness of lean strategies is context-dependent rather than universally standardized. The findings emphasize the importance of adaptive and organization-sensitive lean implementation to achieve sustainable operational performance and industrial competitiveness.
