Abstract

Cotton bud merupakan alat yang sering digunakan untuk mengorek telinga. Penggunaan cotton bud di liang telinga menimbulkan trauma lokal, sehingga memudahkan terjadinya iritasi, inflamasi, hingga infeksi yang dapat menimbulkan keluhan telinga gatal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan frekuensi dan jumlah penggunaan cotton bud untuk toilet telinga dengan derajat keluhan gatal berdasarkan nilai VAS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling menggunakan kuesioner didapatkan 52 sampel mahasiswa FK ULM angkatan 2019-2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan frekuensi penggunaan cotton bud terbanyak adalah jarang (≤1 kali seminggu), dan mayoritas mahasiswa menggunakan cotton bud dengan jumlah banyak (>1 batang). Intensitas keluhan gatal terbanyak yang dirasakan adalah derajat ringan, diikuti sedang, dan berat. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna, baik pada analisis frekuensi penggunaan, maupun jumlah cotton bud dengan derajat keluhan gatal pada telinga berdasarkan nilai VAS.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh SARS-CoV-2. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil pasien konfirmasi COVID-19 yang dirawat di RSD Idaman Banjarbaru periode 2020-2021 berdasarkan karakteristik demografi, penyakit komorbid, dan manifestasi klinis. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif retrospektif dengan pengambilan data melalui rekam medis pasien. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah quota sampling. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 317 pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasien konfirmasi COVID-19 yang dirawat di RSD Idaman Banjarmasin paling banyak laki-laki (53,6%), kelompok usia 46-59 tahun (39,1%), pendidikan terakhir SMA/MA (40,4%), dan pekerjan sebagai karyawan swasta (27,4%). Sebagian besar pasien mempunyai penyakit komorbid (50,8%). Penyakit komorbid pasien paling banyak adalah hipertensi (67%). Berdasarkan gejala klinis, lebih banyak pasien mengalami batuk (68,5%).

Abstract

The porpose of this study is to determine the readiness of village government in realizing accountability and transparency in the management of APBDesa By quantitative method there hypotheses proposed in this study. The subjects of this research are 4 principal areas of village, village government of Tumbang Bunut, The sampling technique in this research is done using the techningque of vorposive sampling the instrument of data collection in this research is questionnaire of questionnaire. The resuls of this study indclate that accountability is positively releated to the management of APBDesa, Transparency is also positively realited to the management of APBDesa, and accountability, and transparency together have a positive relationship to APBDesa Mangement

Abstract

This research is motivated by the PAI learning process which prioritizes material rather than attitudes. In this case, the teacher has tried to implement the affective domain approach in PAI learning, but in reality there are still problems regarding students' affective domain in PAI learning. This can be seen from the attitude of students who pay less attention to the teacher when explaining the lesson, such as students talking to their classmates about other things, singing in class, and often excusing themselves during the learning process. The aim of this study is to look at the implementation of the Affective Domain in PAI Learning through a teacher approach. The type of research is descriptive-qualitative, the main informant for this research is an Islamic Religious Education Teacher who teaches in class VIII C, and the supporting informants are students in class VIII C. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and data verification. To test the validity of the data by using data triangulation, namely comparing the results of interviews conducted by key informants with supporting informants and the results of direct observations. The results of this research show that the implementation of the affective domain in PAI learning is through an approach by teachers in the affective domain in Class VIII C of SMPN 3 Tigo Nagari, Pasaman Regency using an experiential approach by teaching knowledge through experience on Sunnah prayer material, the Habituation Approach provides the habit of reading the Al-Qur 'an together before starting learning, the teacher exemplifies the exemplary approach first to the students regarding respect and obedience to parents and teachers before taking the exemplary approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of website quality, security and trust on purchasing decisions on the Shopee application. The method in this study uses quantitative methods. This research was conducted in the area of Padang Ngeri University. For this experiment, a probability sampling approach was used to choose the sample. Up to 200 Padang State University students who use Shopee will take part in the survey as responders. Abstract

This research aims to analyze politeness strategies in online comments on social media, with a focus on the application of Brown and Levinson's politeness theory. Social media as a virtual public space presents challenges in maintaining communication ethics, especially regarding user anonymity and spontaneity. Research data is obtained from online comments on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, which are relevant to certain public topics. A qualitative approach with pragmatic discourse analysis is used to identify forms of positive politeness, negative politeness and politeness violations. The research results show that positive politeness strategies are more dominant than negative politeness, especially on emotional topics. Speech act patterns that are often found include illocutionary acts in the form of support or praise, as well as perlocutionary acts that create an emotional response. Cultural factors, discussion topic, level of anonymity, and age of the user influence the application of politeness. The findings also revealed that politeness violations occurred more frequently in controversial discussions. This research provides practical implications in increasing social media users' awareness of communicating politely. In addition, digital platforms are expected to strengthen moderation features to create a healthier communication space. Further research is recommended to explore the relationship between language politeness and digital conflict in various cultural contexts.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how government accounting standards are implemented in village financial management in Sigi Village and how prepared the village government is in managing village finances. The research methodology used is qualitative research, the data sources used are primary dtaa obtained by direct interviews and secondary data obtained from related documents. The location of this research is Sigi Village, Kahayan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The results of this research can be concluded that the implementation of government accounting standards in this village has not been optimal because in the presentation of village financial reports there are still several reports that are not prepared by the village government. Sigi Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget Implementation Report (APBDes), Changes in Excess Budget Balance Report, Realization Report, Cash Flow Report, and Notes to Financial Reports.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of accounting conservatism, managerial ownership in moderating the relationship between accounting conservatism on valuation of equity and the board of directors in moderating the relationship between conservatism and valuation of equity in Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period. In this study, the population used was manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2021 period. Based on this research, out of 288 observations, only 239 data will be analyzed because the outlier test results and data transformation are in the form of Natural Logarithms. The data obtained were then analyzed using the SPSS version 25 application tool. The results of this study indicate that accounting conservatism has a negative but not significant effect on equity valuation. Then, in moderation the results show that managerial ownership has a positive but not significant effect in moderating the relationship between accounting conservatism on equity valuations and the board of directors has a positive but not significant effect in moderating the relationship between accounting conservatism on equity valuations. Suggestions through the results of this study are that in creating reliable financial reporting the company should adjust to the standards that have been set. Then, investors and creditors, must consider in working with a company or in making investment decisions, especially if the company does not have quality financial reporting and for further researchers who wish to conduct similar research, it is better to add five years of research or more. or researching on other types of industries to find out the variations in the results of the research variables contained in this study.

Abstract

Creativity is the ability to generate new and innovative ideas that are valuable and useful in a particular context. In higher education, creativity is very important because it encourages students to think critically, solve problems effectively, and innovate in their fields of study. This study aims to test the effectiveness of using e-modules based on metacreative strategies in improving students' creativity in the Makeup and Beauty Research course at Padang State University. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was students of the Makeup and Beauty study program class of 2021 with a sample size of 53 people. Data analysis techniques in this research consist of descriptive statistics, creativity assessment scale, n-gain score test, prerequisite analysis test, and hypothesis testing (Independent sample t-test). The results showed that there was a significant increase in the level of student creativity in the experimental group and the control group. The average pretest score in the control group was 56.72 and the posttest was 64.07 with an N-gain of 0.17 (low category). Meanwhile, the experimental group had an average pretest score of 60.00 and a posttest of 78.77 with an N-gain of 0.46 (moderate category). The results of the hypothesis test using the independent sample t-test showed a sig.(2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, so there was a significant difference between the experimental group using e-modules based on meta-creative strategies and the control group using conventional learning methods. This shows that the use of e-modules based on meta-creative strategies is effective in improving student creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in nail art results using the freehand technique and the stamping technique on artificial nails, reviewed from four aspects, namely neatness, color evenness, preference, and aesthetics. The research method used is a quantitative experiment involving 80 artificial nails, 40 artificial nails with the freehand technique and 40 artificial nails with the stamping technique. The assessment was carried out by a panel consisting of lecturers, beauty industry practitioners, and students of Makeup and Beauty at Padang State University. Data were obtained through observation and documentation, then analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test. The results showed that there were significant differences between the two techniques. The stamping technique was superior in terms of neatness and color evenness, while the freehand technique was superior in terms of aesthetics and preference. Based on the Mann-Whitney U test, a significant value of 0.030 <0.050 was obtained, which means there is a significant difference between the freehand technique and the stamping technique in terms of neatness. A significant value of 0.734>0.05 indicates that there is no significant difference between the freehand technique and the stamping technique in terms of color evenness. The significant value is 0.003 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference in the beauty aspect of the freehand technique and the stamping technique. In the aspect of liking the significant value is 0.163>0.05, which means there is no significant difference between the freehand technique and the stamping technique. These findings contribute to the development of nail art learning and become a practical reference in choosing techniques according to aesthetic and efficiency needs.
