Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors affecting the demand for fish in the Semparuk Sub-district. The samples in this study were the fish traders who settled and traveled in Semparuk village which amounted to 15 merchants, and the community as a consumer of fish as many as 60 respondents. Data analysis used statistical calculations with data processing techniques using software SPSS 25. The results showed that fish demand in Semparuk village was simultaneously influenced by price, income, and taste. The results of the data analysis in multiple linear regression resulted in an Adjusted R Square value of 0.824 meaning that variable prices (X1), consumer tastes (X2), and consumer income (X3) affected fish demand (Y) in Semparuk Village by 82.4 %. The remaining 17.6 % was influenced by other factors not included in the study.

Abstract

The native plant of mainland Asia, Durian, presents a considerable opportunity to be used as animal feed due to the high by-product production, with almost 70% of every durian fruit being waste. This presents an excellent opportunity to repurpose durian skin and seeds as animal feed. An experiment was conducted to evaluate the impact of durian by-product on the productivity and physiological condition of kacang goats. The research was conducted from September to November 2020 at the Experimental Cage owned by CV. Prima BREED, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. The research cages were stage cages, with a size of 2 x 10 m, and one animal was placed in each cage. A total of 18 Peanut goats were divided into 3 treatment levels and 6 replications according to a completely randomized design. The study found that the nutritional intake of durian by-product in the form of rind and seed flour as much as 0.5% in the feed affected the carcass percentage, the amount of red blood cell, hemoglobin level, and hematocrit value but had no effect on body weight gain, dry matter consumption, feed use efficiency, carcass weight, weight and percentage of non-edible carcasses, body temperature, respiration frequency, pulse frequency, and white blood cell count of kacang goats. This indicates that the utilization of 0.5% durian by-product (seeds and rind) in feed did not have a negative effect on the productivity and physiological condition of kacang goats, making it a viable option for animal feed.

Abstract

Horticultural plant nurseries at the Agribusiness workshop are one of the empowerment activities currently being developed at the Sambas State Polytechnic. The plant cultivated is cayenne pepper, which is highly volatile in price but always in demand by the community. The planting medium used to cultivate cayenne pepper has been developed over several years by the Agribusiness workshop. The growing medium used has been tested for quality and nutrient content. It is hoped that chili seedling cultivation will be able to meet the high demand for chili seedlings to be cultivated by farmers around Sambas. The initial stage of seedling cultivation involves around 5000 chili seedlings.

Abstract

This literature review aims to conduct a critical review of the effectiveness of the implementation of UU No 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence (UU TPKS) in responding to the high number of cases of sexual violence against children, as reflected in the 2024 data. Normatively, the UU TPKS is a progressive legal milestone that complements the UUPA, especially through expanding the definition of criminal acts such as Electronic-Based Sexual Violence (KSBE) and strengthening victims' rights to restitution and rehabilitation. However, the analysis results show significant implementation gaps. Data of 2024, which recorded more than 11,000 cases of child sexual violence and a sharp spike in KBGO cases (40.8%), proves that the UU TPKS has not had an optimal deterrent and preventive effect. This gap is triggered by three main obstacles: the absence of derivative regulations that hinder access to restitution, the cultural bias of law enforcement officers that leads to victim blaming, and operational challenges in proving KSBE cases. In conclusion, the effectiveness of the UU TPKS depends on addressing structural barriers and shifting cultural paradigms so that the principle of the best interests of the child can be fulfilled in a restorative manner.

Abstract

The development of digital assets, particularly crypto assets, presents new challenges for the bankruptcy legal system in Indonesia. The technical characteristics of digital assets, which are decentralized, cryptography-based, and difficult to access without private keys, have the potential to disrupt the application of the principles of justice, particularly the principles of Pari passu, transparency, and accountability in determining bankruptcy estates. The problem is further complicated by the transition of crypto asset supervision from BAPPEBTI to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) under the P2SK, which has created a technical regulatory vacuum in the bankruptcy context. This study aims to analyze how the characteristics of digital assets challenge the concept of bankruptcy estates, identify the legal and technical challenges faced by curators, and evaluate the implications of regulatory changes for legal certainty. The study uses a normative juridical method through an analysis of laws and regulations, scientific literature, and a comparison of international practices. The results show that digital assets, normatively, fulfill the elements of assets, but in practice, they pose serious obstacles for curators in the identification, safeguarding, and liquidation processes. Furthermore, the transition of authority to the OJK creates an urgent need for technical regulations to ensure the upholding of the principles of justice in bankruptcy cases involving digital assets.
