Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi berbasis web yang mempromosikan potensi wisata desa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kota Pari, yang memiliki kekayaan alam dan budaya yang beragam namun kurang dikenal secara luas. Dengan pendekatan partisipatif, tim pengabdian bekerja sama dengan pemerintah desa dan masyarakat setempat untuk mengidentifikasi potensi wisata, merancang sistem informasi, dan memberikan pelatihan kepada warga mengenai pengelolaan dan pemeliharaan sistem tersebut. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah terbentuknya sebuah situs web yang informatif dan mudah diakses, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke desa tersebut. Selain itu, melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat setempat menjadi lebih sadar akan pentingnya memanfaatkan teknologi dalam mempromosikan pariwisata lokal. Evaluasi terhadap penggunaan sistem menunjukkan respon positif dari pengguna dan peningkatan jumlah wisatawan. Keberlanjutan program ini diharapkan dapat terus memberikan manfaat jangka panjang bagi Desa Kota Pari.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based stock data collection system at PT. Indomarco Adi Prima in response to dynamic changes in the business environment and consumer trends. This system is designed to increase efficiency and accuracy in company stock management. The development methods used include requirements analysis, system architecture design, implementation and testing. The result is a web-based platform that allows management teams to access, manage and monitor inventory in real-time from various locations. The system also automatically integrates stock data with company operational processes, reducing the potential for human error and providing valuable analytical information. With the adoption of this system, PT. Indomarco Adi Prima can optimize stock management, respond quickly to market changes, and improve the quality of service to customers. This research makes a positive contribution in facing modern business challenges through the use of information technology to increase operational effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth of pension credit at the Nasari Savings and Loans Cooperative, Lhokseumawe City. The methodology used in the research process is descriptive qualitative, namely knowing the growth of pension credit each year at the Nasari Savings and Loans Cooperative, Lhokseumawe City, using existing data. The analysis used in this research is trend analysis. The results showed that the growth of pension credit in the Nasari Savings and Loans Cooperative fluctuated and tended to decrease with the average credit growth. The author gives advice to the Nasari Savings and Loans Cooperative in Lhokseumawe City in order to reduce interest rates on pension credit loans, so that they can compete with other cooperatives and increase credit growth every year.

Abstract

The village is the government responsible for organizing and managing village-level government resources and organizing population management to provide services to the community. Although village officials are currently using computer media to provide data processing and population management services for their communities, they are still not utilizing it properly. The design of a web-based village administration service information system is a solution to the problem. This application allows the integration of village administration service information into the system through the use of the waterfall method in four stages: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. One of the features of this administrative service application is the submission of letters by citizens, uploading of administrative letters submitted by citizens, employee registration, and citizen registration are features that can be accessed by the administration. With this application, the community and village staff gain additional benefits and value. This application is different from the previous service system it still uses manual methods to optimize the administration and processing of population data at the village office. It also makes it possible to present accurate population data and reports

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to design and build a Tourism Potential Information System for Kota Pari Village, located in Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, using the Waterfall Method approach. The problem faced is the lack of accessibility of information on the tourism potential of Kota Pari Village online, which hinders the promotion and development of local tourism potential. The purpose of this research is to overcome these obstacles by designing and developing a web-based platform that can provide comprehensive information about the tourism potential of Kota Pari Village to the general public and potential tourists.  The research method used is the Waterfall Method, which consists of five main stages: needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The needs analysis stage involves identifying user needs, required features, and the structure of information to be presented in the system. Furthermore, system design was conducted to design an intuitive and systematic user interface, as well as a robust and scalable system architecture. The result of this research is a web-based Kota Pari Village Tourism Potential Information System, which allows users to access information about tourism objects, facilities, activities, and location maps of Kota Pari Village easily and quickly. It is expected that the implementation of this system will improve the promotion and tourism attractiveness of Kota Pari Village, as well as facilitate the growth of the tourism sector in the area. Keywords: Information System; Waterfall; Tourism potential; Kota Pari; Web; Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah Sistem Informasi Potensi Wisata Desa Kota Pari, yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Pantai Cermin, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, dengan pendekatan Waterfall Method. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya aksesibilitas informasi potensi wisata Desa Kota Pari secara online, yang menghambat promosi dan pengembangan potensi wisata lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut dengan merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah platform berbasis web yang dapat memberikan informasi yang komprehensif tentang potensi wisata Desa Kota Pari kepada masyarakat umum dan calon wisatawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Waterfall Method, yang terdiri dari lima tahap utama: analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Tahap analisis kebutuhan melibatkan identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna, fitur-fitur yang dibutuhkan, dan struktur informasi yang akan disajikan dalam sistem. Selanjutnya, perancangan sistem dilakukan untuk merancang antarmuka pengguna yang intuitif dan sistematis, serta arsitektur sistem yang kokoh dan scalable. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah Sistem Informasi Potensi Wisata Desa Kota Pari yang berbasis web, yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengakses informasi tentang objek wisata, fasilitas, aktivitas, dan peta lokasi Desa Kota Pari secara mudah dan cepat. Diharapkan bahwa implementasi sistem ini akan meningkatkan promosi dan daya tarik wisata Desa Kota Pari, serta memfasilitasi pertumbuhan sektor pariwisata di wilayah tersebut. Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi; Waterfall; Potensi wisata; Kota Pari; Web;

Abstract

Abstract: Village asset management requires control from internal parties including employees and village officials. The manual system implemented so far is considered less efficient, so the development of an asset management information system is needed. This research aims to record data, and display information or reports on village assets electronically based on computers. The method of developing a village asset management information system used is System Developping Live Cycle (SDLC), using the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database storage. The results can be obtained in the form of a village asset management system designed to facilitate general administrative problems and has features to present reporting, facilitate asset codification, and accurate asset management according to the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation. Keywords: Inventory; Asset Management; Information System; SDLC; Village Abstrak: Pengelolaan aset desa memerlukan adanya pengendalian dari pihak internal yang meliputi karyawan dan pejabat desa. Sistem manual yang dilaksanakan selama ini dianggap kurang efisien, sehingga dibutuhkan pengembangan sistem informasi pengelolaan asset. Penelitian in bertujuan untuk merekam data, dan menampilkan informasi atau laporan aset desa secara elektronik berbasis komputer. Metode pengembangan sistem informasi pengelolan aset desa yang digunakan adalah System Developping Live Cycle (SDLC), dengan menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sebagai tempat penyimpanan database. Abstract

New student admission is one of the crucial processes in educational institutions that require accurate and efficient data management. MTs Amaliyah Sunggal, located at Jl. Tani Asli, Kp. Lalang, Kec. Sunggal, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, previously implemented a manual registration system that had many obstacles, such as a long process, data recording errors, and difficulty in monitoring registration progress. To overcome these obstacles, a web-based new student registration system was designed using the Waterfall development method. The Waterfall method was chosen because it has a systematic and orderly structure, which includes five main stages, namely needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. In the design process, user needs are identified in detail to ensure that the system can accommodate all required functions. After that, the system is designed and implemented using web technology that allows prospective students to register online, thereby reducing the school's administrative burden. This system has been tested using Lighthouse which showed quite good performance with First Contentful Paint (FCP) of 1.6 seconds and Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) of 2.6 seconds, while Total Blocking Time (TBT) and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) obtained perfect scores reflecting the stability of the layout and speed of the system. This system provides convenience for prospective students to access registration information from anywhere and at any time. In addition, the school can monitor registration data in real-time and generate reports automatically. Thus, it is expected that this system can improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the process of accepting new students at MTs Amaliyah Sunggal.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam era digital adalah meningkatnya kerentanan anak dan perempuan terhadapeksploitasi, kekerasan, serta pelanggaran privasi dalam ekosistem teknologi informasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalahuntuk memberikan pemahaman dan peningkatan kapasitas kepada masyarakat, khususnya pemangku kepentinganlokal dan keluarga, mengenai kebijakan digitalisasi berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) untuk perlindungan hak anak danperempuan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, penyuluhan, dan workshop interaktif yang melibatkan mitradari komunitas lokal, organisasi perlindungan anak, dan kader PKK, dengan total peserta sebanyak 40 orang. Evaluasidilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test serta observasi partisipatif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dansoftskill peserta sebesar 78% terkait penggunaan teknologi AI secara etis dan aman, serta peningkatan kesadarandigital dan nilai ekonomis berupa pengembangan konten edukatif berbasis AI untuk advokasi perlindungan hak

Abstract

Concentrates on utilizing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach to improve the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of an information system designed for mangrove forest conservation. Mangrove ecosystems are essential for coastal defense, biodiversity, and carbon storage. Nonetheless, insufficient access to information frequently impeded community involvement in mangrove conservation. The research tackles this deficiency by creating a user-centric information system that amalgamates environmental data, cartographic representations, and educational materials concerning the mangroves of Desa Kota Pari. RAD was selected for its iterative and adaptable characteristics, facilitating ongoing stakeholder feedback and expedited development cycles relative to conventional models. The study delineates a multi-phase Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, encompassing requirements elicitation, prototyping, and user evaluation to develop a functioning and user-friendly system. By engaging end-users, including local authorities, conservationists, and community members during the development process, the system's UI/UX was tailored to address the distinct requirements of its audience, facilitating usability and the clear conveyance of intricate ecological data. Preliminary responses from usability assessments indicated a notable enhancement in user engagement and comprehension of mangrove conservation initiatives. The Mangrove Forest Information System demonstrates that the RAD technique is highly effective in developing interactive and user-centric environmental information systems, particularly in contexts requiring swift adaptation to user requirements. This approach improves community involvement and supports the sustainability of mangrove ecosystems.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk sektor pemerintahan. Kantor Sekretariat DPRD Kota Medan sebagai lembaga pemerintahan dituntut untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas kerja, salah satunya dalam pengelolaan arsip surat. Selama ini proses pengarsipan surat masih dilakukan secara manual, yang menyebabkan kesulitan dalam pencarian dan pengelolaan surat masuk dan keluar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem aplikasi arsip surat berbasis web guna mempermudah proses pengarsipan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan waterfall. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman web dengan database MySQL dan dijalankan pada server lokal XAMPP. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa sistem aplikasi yang dapat mengelola data surat secara digital, menyediakan fitur pencarian, pengarsipan, pengubahan, penghapusan, serta pencetakan data surat, yang seluruhnya mendukung peningkatan kinerja pengarsipan surat di Kantor Sekretariat DPRD Kota Medan.
