Abstract

This thesis entiled Improving Students’ Reading Comprehension Throught the application of learning Cell Technique (A Collaborative Classroom Action Research to the first Year Student of SMA Negeri 2 Kutamakmur). The problem of this research are: 1) How does Learning Cell Technique improved the students’ reading ability in reading comprehension? And(2) how do the students’ respond toward the implementation Learning Cell Technique to the first year students’ of SMAN 2 Kuta Makmur?. The purpose of this research are: 1) To improve students’ reading comprehension to the first year students’ of SMAN 2 Kuta Makmur by using Learning Cell Technique. 2) To know the students response toward the implementation of Learning Cell Technique in teaching reading. To respond the research questions, the researcher used the collaborative classroom action research as the methodology of the research. Then the researcher did the collaboration with englis teacher to do the research. The setting of this research was SMAN 2 Kuta Makmur.

Abstract

The high divorce rate in Indonesia highlights the need for preventive efforts in fostering marriage readiness. Nurul Ashri Mosque in Deresan Sleman has responded to this challenge by organizing a Premarital School open to all groups. This program aims to provide in-depth understanding of various aspects of marriage, including mental, economic, and spiritual preparedness. This study aims to identify the factors that encourage community participation in the Premarital School and the benefits gained after attending the program. The research adopts a legal sociology approach with a qualitative research method. Primary data was collected through direct interviews and online surveys using Google Forms, while secondary data was obtained from various relevant literature sources. Data validation was conducted using the triangulation technique. The findings reveal that community participation is driven by several key factors: the desire for knowledge, interest in the topics and speakers, flexibility of online sessions, affordability, and additional benefits such as certification and access to a matchmaking platform. Furthermore, the Premarital School positively impacts participants by enhancing their understanding of married life, strengthening self-awareness, and increasing readiness to build a harmonious family. These findings suggest that community-based premarital education can serve as an effective solution in improving marriage preparedness and reducing potential household conflicts in the future. [Fenomena tingginya angka perceraian di Indonesia menunjukkan perlunya upaya preventif dalam membangun kesiapan pernikahan. Masjid Nurul Ashri Deresan Sleman merespons tantangan ini dengan menyelenggarakan Sekolah Pranikah yang terbuka untuk semua kalangan. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai berbagai aspek pernikahan, termasuk kesiapan mental, ekonomi, dan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendorong partisipasi masyarakat dalam Sekolah Pranikah serta manfaat yang diperoleh setelah mengikuti program tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah sosiologi hukum dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui wawancara langsung dan survei daring menggunakan Google Forms, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari berbagai literatur terkait. Validasi data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat didorong oleh beberapa faktor utama, yaitu keinginan untuk memperoleh ilmu, ketertarikan terhadap materi dan narasumber, fleksibilitas kegiatan daring, biaya yang terjangkau, serta manfaat tambahan seperti sertifikasi dan akses ke platform biro jodoh. Selain itu, Sekolah Pranikah juga memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan pemahaman tentang kehidupan pernikahan, penguatan kesadaran diri, dan kesiapan dalam membangun rumah tangga yang harmonis. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendidikan pranikah berbasis komunitas dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan pernikahan dan mengurangi potensi konflik rumah tangga di masa depan.]

Abstract

This study examines the problems of contemporary wali nikah in Indonesia, where rigid interpretations of classical fiqh clash with modern social realities such as the phenomenon of wali adhal and the increasing independence of women. Using Maqāṣid al-Syarī'ah as a new method of interpretation, this qualitative literature research deconstructs traditional views to reconstruct the role of guardians. The results of the analysis show that the meaning of wali as absolute authority can be contrary to the essential purpose of the shari'a (ḍarūriyyāt). Therefore, ijtihad maqāṣidī was formulated which transforms the role of guardians into protectors and consultants in order to realize benefits.

Abstract

This study examines the interaction between the concept of shared property in Malay custom and the principle of "dhimmah maliyah" in sharia, aiming to analyze differences and similarities in the practice of joint property ownership. With the framework of legal pluralism and a socio-legal qualitative approach, the study found the formation of a hybrid system. The fundamental difference lies in the communal principle of customary versus individual sharia. The similarities are found in syncretic practices where customary principles dominate acquired property during marriage, while sharia principles are applied selectively to inherited property and inheritance, suggesting the existence of creative negotiations.

Abstract

Globalization and the advancement of science and technology have brought significant changes to Muslim family life, affecting both social behavior and the practice of Islamic family law. These transformations have generated tensions between established legal norms and evolving social realities. This study aims to analyze the dual impact of globalization and technological development on the transformation of Muslim family behavior and the dynamics of Islamic family law in responding to such changes. Employing a qualitative socio-legal approach with a case study design, the research was conducted in several metropolitan cities with predominantly Muslim populations. Data were collected through a literature review and analyzed using an interactive analysis model to examine the gap between social realities (das Sein) and normative legal frameworks (das Sollen). The findings reveal a shift in family values toward individualism, a redefinition of gender roles within households, and an increase in digitally mediated family conflicts. From a legal perspective, adaptive responses have emerged through judicial ijtihad, particularly in addressing contemporary issues such as the use of digital evidence in family law cases. However, strong resistance within formal legislation persists, resulting in a significant legal vacuum. These findings highlight the need for a more responsive reform of Islamic family law that engages with social and technological change while maintaining its normative foundations

Abstract

Teachers do not simply conduct online or remote learning by delivering materials to learners, but rather through optimal preparation to ensure effective implementation. The shift to long-distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic required teachers to master their subject matter, align personal interests and talents with educational goals, and demonstrate a positive professional attitude. This study aimed to determine the readiness of primary school teachers in implementing online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using a quantitative survey design, the research was conducted in primary schools across the Jakarta metropolitan area (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi). Participants (n=280) were selected using a combination of random and convenience sampling techniques. Data were collected using the Teacher Readiness for Online Learning Measurement (TROLM) instrument developed by Ming Hu in 2015 and analyzed using percentage calculations. The results showed that teachers demonstrated emotive attitudinal readiness of 54.4%, cognitive readiness of 55.9%, and behavioral readiness of 51.5%, indicating that overall, they are well-prepared to implement online learning. Based on these findings, it is recommended that continuous professional development, adequate digital infrastructure, and sustainable policy guidelines be provided to further enhance teachers’ digital pedagogical competencies and ensure the long-term effectiveness of online learning beyond the pandemic context

Abstract

Penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) merupakan kebutuhan mutlak bagi anak usia sekolah (6-12 tahun) untuk mencegah penyakit seperti diare dan gigi berlubang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa di SDN 297 Kondo mengenai pentingnya cara mencuci tangan yang benar serta cara menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan (ceramah bervariasi), pembimbingan (demonstrasi), dan pendampingan (latihan). Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan, di mana 17 dari 21 siswa (80,9%) mengalami kenaikan pemahaman mengenai PHBS setelah diberikan intervensi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi kesehatan efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hidup bersih pada siswa sekolah dasar.
