Abstract

This study aims to describe the religious values ​​in the novel The Split Month in the American Sky by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. The research method used is descriptive method with research in the form of research qualitative. The approach used is the genetic structuralism approach. The data in the research in this novel are excerpts in the form of words and sentences in the novel Split in the American Sky. The technique of collecting data uses documentary studies. The research instrument is the researcher himself as the main instrument. Data checking techniques are observed by: 1) Adequacy of references, b) Examination with colleagues, c) Triangulation. Based on the results of this descriptive study it was found that the religious values ​​contained in the novel of the Split Moon in the American Sky include: Aqeedah (Faith) values ​​which include: Faith in God, Faith in angels, Faith in the Book, Faith in the Prophets and Apostles, Faith in the End Times, Faith in Qada 'and Qadar. Sharia values ​​(Worship) which include: reading the Qur'an, alms, and dhikr to Allah. Akhlaq values ​​(moral character) include: the value of patience, gratitude, and filial piety to parents. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai religius dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan penelitian berupa penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan, yaitu pendekatan strukturalisme genetik. Data dalam penelitian dalam novel ini adalah kutipan-kutipan berupa kata-kata maupun kalimat dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan studi dokumenter. Instrumen penelitiannya adalah adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama. Teknik pemeriksaan data diamati dengan: 1) Kecukupan referensi, b) Pemeriksaan dengan teman sejawat, c) Triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif tersebut ditemukan bahwa nilai-nilai religius yang terdapat dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika meliputi: Nilai Aqidah (Keimanan) yang meliputi: Iman kepada Allah, Iman kepada malaikat, Iman kepada Kitab, Iman kepada Nabi dan Rasul, Iman kepada kepada Hari Akhir, Iman kepada Qada’ dan Qadar. Nilai Syari’ah (Ibadah) yang meliputi : membaca Al- Qur’an, sedekah, dan berzikir kepada Allah. Nilai Akhlaq (Budi pekerti) meliputi: nilai sabar, bersyukur, dan berbakti kepada orang tua. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify how is the role of images implementation in teaching English conversation. Rapid technological developments increasingly highlight the use of multimodality theory. Multimodal in this case has a metafunction. Multimodal is now used as a new learning resource that can be used in the learning process. This multimodal aims as an evolving approach to knowledge in visual or image sources. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. In this study, an analysis of multimodal literature is carried out, namely through pictures of English conversations, these images are then used in learning about conversations in English. Three steps of representational metafunction, an interpersonal metafunction, and a compositional metafunction were used to analyze the multimodality of images used as learning media in learning English. The results obtained are that there is an increase in students' understanding when using images as learning media in conversational material in English. Based on the analysis of three multimodal components, namely the representational, interpersonal, and compositional, it is possible to conclude that the image of the English conversation employed leads to adaptation to the qualities of the kid as a learner. Children enjoy animated characters, and the use of color and animation in drawings is designed to pique pupils' interest in participating in learning by displaying images of discussions and encouraging them to practice them.

Abstract

Education is an institution that has the power to create human beings who have noble character, broad-minded in scientific disciplines and believe in accordance with their religion and the ability to carry out His commands and prohibitions. Many phenomena in society are still far from the noble ideals of education and or the main mission of existing educational institutions. The injustice of the bureaucratic players or the elite class against the rights that should be owned by the community, the rape of democratic values ​​and criminal acts that are often carried out by today's youth. The aims of this study: (1) to determine the decadence factors of character education values; (2) knowing the importance of integrating material with attitudes towards students, and (3) knowing the roles, responsibilities and emotional relationships of educators, students and families. The type of research used is qualitative research with a literature review approach, namely comparing several concepts and then taking the common thread. While the results of this study are the low support and examples of family attitudes towards children in daily life while at home, character education is in accordance with the concept of the Qur'an which unites theory with implementation, science with faith and textual with contextual, and teachers at school are educators who are professional while both people or families are natural educators in the household where both have roles and responsibilities to students.

Abstract

Salah satu program pengembangan yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan anak usia dini adalah pengembangan bahasa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kegiatan literasi denngan menggunakan Kegiatan Literasi Berbasis Teks Multimodal untuk anak usia dini di salah satu sekolah TK di Pematangsiantar. Metode deskriptif kualitatif diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah anak usia dini sebanyak 26 siswa. Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber digunakan dalam analisis data. Proses interpretasi data yang terkumpul menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengalami peningkatan kenyamanan lingkungan belajar peserta didik dengan persentase peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 15,8% sehingga kegiatan literasi berbasis multimodal ini layak untuk dikembangkan dan dilaksanakan pada anak usia dini. Para peneliti juga menyarankan agar pihak sekolah memahami pentingnya membangun lingkungan literasi yang baik di dalam kelas dalam mendukung penerapan literasi berbasis multimodal untuk perkembangan kemampuan literasi anak

Abstract

Abstrak Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya minat belajar siswa dan rendahnya hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah model pembelajaran assure dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Sigli?. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran assure dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Sigli. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV SDN 2 Sigli yang berjumlah 22 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran assure dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai yang diperoleh siswa pada masing-masing siklus. Pada siklus I mendapatkan nilai rata-rata siswa 68,1, sedangkan pada siklus II mendapatkan nilai rata-rata siswa 75. Abstract The main problem in this study is the lack of student interest in learning and the low learning outcomes of Indonesian. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the assure learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 2 Sigli ?. This study aims to determine the application of the assure learning model to improve learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sigli. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Sigli, totaling 22 students. Data collection techniques in this study were tests, observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this classroom action research indicate that the application of the assure learning model can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the scores obtained by students in each cycle. In the first cycle, the students 'average score was 68.1, while in the second cycle, the students' average score was 75.

Abstract

This research aims to classify the type of Speech function process. This research employed systemic functional linguistics theory of Halliday, particularly speech function as a tool of analysis, more specific this research analyzed process of speech function. The phenomenon of speech function, in communicating people need other people who will be our listeners as well as our talking partners at the same time. These actions give rise to various different phenomena due to variations in the ability of each person to apply language and linguistics as well as their cultural background. Because of these divergences, it is undeniable that misunderstandings between listeners and speakers often occur, especially when both participants in a communication are non-native speakers. The data collected from President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. speech at United State of America from white House You-Tube on March 11th 2021. The researchers used qualitative research design to answer the research question and choose content analysis because the result of the data analyzed is in descriptive phenomenon such as word, clause and utterance. The researchers used documentation as the research instrument. The researchers collected the data that is posted on March, 11th 2021. The findings of this research showed 294 Data that Statement is 292data (99%), Question find 2(1%) data, 0 data for command and offer. The most type of speech function is Statement. In contrast which just 2 question and nothing data for command and offer in his speech

Abstract

Keaktifan belajar siswa merupakan aktivitas pendidikan yang mengaitkan siswa aktif secara langsung sepanjang proses pendidikan berlangsung. Pendidikan pada dasarnya ialah sesuatu proses interaksi pendidik dengan partisipan didik, baik interaksi langsung (tatap muka), ataupun tidak langsung (aktivitas pendidikan dengan memakai media pendidikan dalam aplikasi website). Di tengah pandemi covid-19 aktivitas belajar mengajar dianjurkan memakai model peembelajaran daring. Tidak semua metode pembelajaran daring dapat digunakan pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keaktifan belajar siswa selama pendidikan daring di masa pandemi covid-19. Tipe riset yang dilakukan merupakan deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Riset ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Sigli, serta yang menjadi subjek dalam riset ini merupakan guru dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Sigli. Data kualitatif tersebut dianalisis memakai reduksi, setelah itu disajikan, kemudian penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil riset diperoleh bahwa sepanjang pendidikan daring, keaktifan belajar siswa tidak seluruhnya bisa dicapai sesuai dengan indikator keaktifan belajar. Perihal ini diakibatnya sebab terdapatnya aspek hambatan sepanjang pendidikan daring dilaksanakan semacam minimnya perlengkapan peraga serta terbatasnya akses internet.

Abstract

The digital era in education is characterized by the development of ICT technology that is integrated into the learning process and school-based learning activities. Almost all schools currently implement ICT-based instruction in every academic area. In the digital age, the roles of professors and students have evolved. Teachers become partners and collaborators between subjects and technology, but students become information recipients who must be able to comprehend and investigate knowledge based on student-centered learning. In addition to a lack of understanding of digital literacy, which results in an inability to comprehend learning, there are undoubtedly student issues in the learning process. This research intends to perform a comparative literature review to determine the causes of elementary school pupils' learning challenges. The results of the study explain that a summary of the study literature demonstrates that in order to understand the causes of student learning difficulties in elementary school, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the causes of student learning difficulties and the internal and external factors of students, so that strategies can be devised to overcome student difficulties. Of course, teachers and schools play a crucial role in overcoming student difficulties. reducing and aiding students in overcoming their restrictions and inability to comprehend each learning topic. Changes in the learning process that are effective and innovative with the aid of technology will undoubtedly make the learning environment enjoyable so that students are able to comprehend the lessons taught.

Abstract

The role of teachers and parents in enhancing the learning attainment of children is substantially facilitated by the accomplishment of learning objectives. Improving student accomplishment is dependent upon the importance of synergy between instructors and parents in the pursuit of learning objectives. The purpose of the study is to analyze the significance of teacher-parent communication in an effort to improve children's learning achievement in order to describe the form of cooperation and communication between parents and teachers in an effort to improve children's learning achievement so that teachers and parents can control children's abilities optimally so that the learning outcomes or learning achievements attained are more directed. Literature research or literature analysis is the research methodology. The results of the study indicate that controlling children's learning achievement through effective communication between parents or families at home and teachers at school can assist children in understanding their academic and non-academic potential, allowing them to engage in directed learning in an effort to improve learning achievement, if communication and services have been carried out effectively and receive feedback from both parties, namely teachers and parents.

Abstract

The world of education must be able to adjust to new typical conditions, such that some schools use online learning, blended learning, and face-to-face instruction. Currently, the transition period from pandemic to new normal is known as the period of adjusting government policies and the management capabilities of each school, so that in the transition of this condition in the world of education, it is necessary to change learning procedures, including the original learning media. Internet is a technological innovation that can be utilized to facilitate distance learning. The internet facilitates human communication, information access, and entertainment. YouTube, which is a social media network but also has advantages as a learning medium, is one of the most popular platforms. The objective of this research is to investigate and assess the current application of YouTube as a learning medium in the new normal era. The research technique employs a literature review of YouTube's implementation and usage as a learning medium in order to create an analysis of YouTube's implementation and use from the perspectives of educators and students at varying levels of education in order to facilitate learning.
