Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of elementary school teachers in fostering creativity in student learning development through the application of innovative learning methods and contextual learning environments. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach involving 30 fifth-grade students from three schools SDN 106161 Laut Dendang, SDS Nahdlatul Ulama Medan, and SD Addini Medan Tembung and one teacher respondent from each school. Data were collected through creativity questionnaires distributed to students and interviews conducted with fifth-grade teachers to understand their roles and strategies in promoting creativity. The results showed that students’ learning creativity was in the moderate to quite good category, with average scores of 66.6% at SDN 106161 Laut Dendang, 62.5% at SDS Nahdlatul Ulama Medan, and 71.8% at SD Addini Medan Tembung. Based on the teacher interviews, it was found that teachers serve as facilitators, motivators, and innovators who encourage students to think critically, explore new ideas, and express their creativity freely in the classroom. The findings imply that teachers’ active participation and innovative teaching strategies play an important role in enhancing students’ creative abilities. Therefore, strengthening professional development for teachers and improving collaboration between schools and families are necessary to create a more supportive learning environment. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of integrating contextual and project-based learning to nurture students’ creativity and problem-solving skills. Additional materials used include creativity questionnaire sheets, teacher interview guidelines, and classroom documentation that support the validity of the findings.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media has had a significant influence on the behavior and morality of adolescents, including university students as part of the digital generation. This study aims to analyze the impact of social media use on behavioral and moral changes among UNIMED students from the perspective of Islamic Education. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that social media has two main tendencies: it provides positive impacts such as increased access to information, religious motivation, and broader spiritual insight, especially when students access Islamic preaching and educational content. However, social media also brings negative impacts, including a decline in communication ethics, addiction, lack of self-control, exposure to content that contradicts Islamic values, and weakened direct social interactions. These behavioral changes affect students’ moral quality, such as decreasing politeness, orderliness, and discipline. From the perspective of Islamic Education, there is a need for strengthening digital literacy, instilling noble moral values, and providing guidance from educators to help students use social media wisely. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic character education in responding to the dynamics of social media development so that students can develop positive behavior and morality in accordance with Islamic teachings.Kata Kunci: Akhlak, Mahasiswa UNIMED, Media Sosial, Pendidikan Islam, Perilaku Remaja.

Abstract

Fenomena ketakutan dan kecenderungan menunda pernikahan pada generasi muda semakin menonjol dalam dinamika sosial modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi ketakutan tersebut, khususnya di kalangan generasi muda muslimah. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penyebaran angket tertutup kepada responden berusia 18–30 tahun yang belum menikah, penelitian ini menganalisis delapan indikator yang mencakup faktor usia, pendidikan dan karier, trauma hubungan, tekanan lingkungan, kondisi ekonomi, pengaruh media sosial, nilai keluarga Islam, dan peran keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden tidak memprioritaskan menikah muda dan lebih menekankan kesiapan mental, emosional, serta finansial. Faktor ekonomi merupakan pertimbangan dominan dengan 80% responden mengakuinya sebagai syarat utama sebelum menikah. Selain itu, fokus pada pendidikan dan karier, trauma hubungan, serta paparan media sosial turut memperkuat rasa takut terhadap pernikahan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pandangan dan sikap mahasiswa Muslim Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED) terhadap fenomena normalisasi living together (kohabitasi) yang marak dipromosikan melalui media digital dan budaya populer. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 150 mahasiswa Muslim sebagai responden. Hasil kuisioner menunjukkan bahwa 68,4% mahasiswa menyadari bahwa praktik kohabitasi bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam dan norma moral masyarakat Indonesia, meskipun media sering menampilkan gaya hidup ini sebagai bagian dari tren modern dan kebebasan individu. Sebanyak 52,6% mahasiswa sangat setuju untuk menegur teman yang menormalisasi living together, dan 65,8% merasa tidak nyaman melihat konten media yang menampilkan kohabitasi. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi pandangan mereka meliputi nilai agama (85%), pendidikan karakter melalui PAI (78%), serta lingkungan sosial dan paparan media digital (70%). Mahasiswa memandang kohabitasi sebagai perbuatan mendekati zina, dilarang dalam fiqh Islam, dan bertentangan dengan maqashid syariah, khususnya penjagaan kehormatan dan keturunan, sehingga berpotensi merusak moral pribadi, akademik, dan solidaritas sosial mereka. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun media digital berperan dalam menormalisasi perilaku ini, ketahanan nilai moral mahasiswa tetap terjaga berkat penguatan pemahaman agama dan lingkungan religius di kampus. Secara umum, mahasiswa menunjukkan sikap penolakan yang konsisten terhadap praktik living together, yang didukung oleh norma agama dan budaya sosial, serta menunjukkan tanggung jawab moral dengan memberikan edukasi kepada teman sebaya. Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya peran pendidikan agama dan media dalam memperkuat norma moral berbasis agama agar generasi muda tetap berpegang teguh pada nilai-nilai keagamaan dan moral. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan strategi pendidikan dan komunikasi yang efektif dalam menanggulangi normalisasi perilaku menyimpang di kalangan mahasiswa.
