Abstract

Marketing plays a crucial role in a company and is highly connected to the external environment, particularly the market environment. This research aims to analyze the effect of product variety, product quality, and price on purchasing decisions with consumer satisfaction as an intervening variable at Rengginang Ibu Imam in Situbondo. The population in this study consisted of consumers of Rengginang Ibu Imam. The sampling method was determined using Probability Sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.2.8 application showed that: Product variety has a positive but not significant effect on consumer satisfaction; Product quality has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction; Price has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction; Product variety has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions; Product quality has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions; Price has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions; Consumer satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions; Product variety has a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions through consumer satisfaction; Product quality has a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions through consumer satisfaction; Price has a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions through consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Jangkar Village and Palangan Village are government organizations responsible for the administration of local government affairs and the interests of the local community in the tasks of development, order, peace, and supervision of regional development. The purpose of this study is to analyze and test the influence of leadership style and work environment on the performance of village officials with work motivation as an intervening variable in the Jangkar Village and Palangan Village Offices in Situbondo Regency. This research is explanatory research using non-probability sampling techniques. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study use the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the hypothesis testing for direct effects using the Smart PLS 3.0 application indicate that leadership style has a significant influence on work motivation, the work environment has a significant influence on work motivation, leadership style does not have a significant influence on performance, the work environment does not have a significant influence on performance, and work motivation has a significant influence on performance. The results of the hypothesis testing for indirect effects show that the leadership style variable on performance through work motivation has a positive but not significant influence, while the work environment on performance through work motivation has a significant positive influence.

Abstract

Humans Regional Revenue Office of Banyuwangi is an organization of government apparatus with a good reputation as implementing element in government, community and development sectors led by the head of department who is responsible to Regent through Regional Secretary. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of work environment and work discipline on performance with Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable at Regional Revenue Office of Banyuwangi by using Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of direct effect hypothesis testing using Smart PLS 3.0 application show that work environment has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction (H1 is accepted), work discipline has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction (H2 is accepted), work environment has a significant positive effect on performance (H3 is accepted), work discipline has a negative and not significant effect on performance (H4 is rejected), job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on performance (H5 is accepted), work environment has a significant positive effect on performance through job satisfaction (H6 is accepted), work discipline has a positive but not significant effect on performance through satisfaction Work (H7 is rejected).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Cash Ratio on Profitability with Non-Performing Loan (NPL) as an intervening variable in commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020–2023. The study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data from the annual financial reports of 12 sample banks selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study indicate that: (1) CAR does not have a significant effect on NPL; (2) FDR does not have a significant effect on NPL; (3) Cash Ratio has a positive and significant effect on NPL; (4) CAR does not have a significant effect on Profitability; (5) FDR does not significantly affect Profitability; (6) Cash Ratio does not significantly affect Profitability; (7) NPL does not significantly affect Profitability; and (8), (9), and (10) NPL is not proven to mediate the relationship between CAR, FDR, and Cash Ratio on Profitability. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that of the three independent variables, only the Cash Ratio significantly affects NPL, but none of the variables have a significant effect on Profitability, either directly or indirectly through NPL mediation. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of prudent liquidity management and operational efficiency for banks, as well as the need for further research by adding other variables and expanding the scope of the study period..

Abstract

Based on the results of multiple linear regression, it shows that the variables of product diversity (X1), price (X2) and location (X3). Y = -6.236E-16 + 0.248X1 + 0.568X2 + 0, 193X3 + e. The tcount for this product diversity variable is 5.092. While the value in the 5% distribution ttable is 1.986, then tcount 5.092 > t-table 1.986 means Ho is rejected or Ha is accepted. The t-count value for this Price variable is 10.290. While the value in the 5% distribution ttable is 1.986, then t-count 10.290 > 1.986 t table means Ho is rejected or Ha is accepted. Meanwhile, the t-count value for this location variable is 3.553. While the value in the 5% distribution t-table is 1.986, then t-count 3,553 > t-table 1,986 means Ho is rejected or Ha is accepted. Comparing the F-count (858.931) > Ftable (2.70) based on statistical testing using the f test method, where the significant level obtained is 0.000 < 0.05. Showing the value of the coefficient of determination R square shows a value of 0.966, from these results it means that all independent variables (Diversity of products, prices, and locations) have a contribution of 96.6% to the dependent variable (purchase decisions) with a sufficient level of determination, and the remaining 3,4% influenced by other factors not included in the study

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of strategic management and brand awareness on purchasing decisions directly and indirectly through unique selling points in the context of e-commerce. By focusing on users of several marketplace applications in the former Besuki Residency which includes the regencies of Banyuwangi, Bondowoso, Jember and Situbondo. This study adopts a non-probability sampling method with a quota sampling technique to determine a sample of 200 users. Path analysis was carried out using the IBM AMOS program after the data was tested for validity and reliability with SPSS. The results of the study indicate that both strategic management and brand awareness have a positive and significant influence on unique selling points and purchasing decisions, in addition, unit selling points have an indirect effect on strategic management and brand awareness on purchasing decisions. These findings are expected to provide practical insights for e-commerce business actors in designing attractive and sustainable marketing strategies, and emphasize the importance of building strong brand recognition in the face of increasingly tight e-commerce industry competition

Abstract

The development of the bakery industry in the digital era requires MSME (Micro/Small/Medium Enterprises) such as Ananta Bakery to build strong relationships with consumers to enhance customer loyalty. This study analyses the influence of brand equity, price discounts, and content marketing on customer loyalty, with E-trust as an intervening variable. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. A sample of 89 respondents was selected from a population of 760 consumers using Slovin’s formula and a random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation and analyzed using validity and reliability tests and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that brand equity, price discounts, and content marketing significantly affect both e-trust and loyalty. Furthermore, E- Trust is a significant intervening variable that strengthens the influence of the three independent variables on customer loyalty. These findings emphasize the importance of digital marketing strategies and brand management in increasing consumer trust and loyalty for MSMEs in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate strategies in the recruitment and selection process of interns as part of companies' efforts to build sustainable talent development pipelines, using a desk-based approach. Information was collected through a review of relevant academic journals, scientific articles, and research reports. The study results indicate that successful recruitment strategies include utilizing social media platforms, strengthening the company's image as an attractive employer, and collaborating with higher education institutions. Furthermore, a systematic intern selection process—through interviews, aptitude tests, and the use of technology such as an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)—has been shown to improve accuracy in selecting suitable candidates and reduce potential bias. Several supporting factors identified include management involvement, the use of digital technology, and partnerships with educational institutions, while key barriers include limited resources and intern readiness. Overall, the implementation of a well-planned internship program not only improves the effectiveness of the recruitment process but also strengthens workforce loyalty and sustainability within the company. These findings provide theoretical contributions to human resource management studies and offer practical recommendations for organizations in optimally managing talent development

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and leadership on the performance of village officials with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with explanatory methods. The population in this study were all village officials in three villages in the Panarukan District, Situbondo Regency, totaling 45 people. The sampling technique used saturated samples, where all members of the population were sampled. Data analysis and hypothesis testing used Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS- SEM) with the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, but leadership had no significant effect on job satisfaction. Work environment and leadership have no significant effect on performance. Job satisfaction also has no significant effect on performance. Furthermore, work environment and leadership have no significant effect on performance through job satisfaction. This study concludes that a good work environment can increase the job satisfaction of village officials, but effective leadership still needs to be improved. Job satisfaction has not been able to become a significant mediation in improving the performance of village officials. This study recommends that village governments pay more attention to factors that can increase job satisfaction and leadership effectiveness, as well as create a conducive work environment to improve the performance of village officials. Further research can expand research variables and research context to gain a more comprehensive understanding.
