Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation and problem-solving ability on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD N 2 Kutoharjo on multiplication material. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. The type of data in this study is primary data, namely data obtained directly from the field. Data were collected through a learning motivation questionnaire, a problem-solving ability test, and mathematics learning outcome scores on multiplication material. Data analysis was carried out through inferential analysis consisting of normality tests, linearity tests, and multicollinearity tests. Then it was continued with multiple regression analysis, followed by hypothesis testing through the T-test, simultaneous F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the study indicate that learning motivation does not have a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD N Kutoharjo. Meanwhile, the problem-solving ability variable has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD N Kutoharjo.

Abstract

This study looks at how fourth-grade pupils at Jetakwanger Elementary School in Blora Regency learn mathematics in relation to their motivation and interest in the subject. All fourth-grade children served as the sample for this study, which employed a quantitative correlational design with saturation sampling. Students' math performance was noted, and data was gathered using a questionnaire that assessed learning motivation and interest. Descriptive and inferential statistical techniques were used to assess the data in order to spread the hypothesis that was provided. The findings demonstrated that students' drive to study had a substantial impact on their learning achievements in mathematics. Learning interest also has a big impact on math achievement. Additionally, learning motivation and curiosity have a major impact on students' learning results in mathematics. This study came to the conclusion that raising student interest and engagement is necessary to improve math skills in primary schools. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using certain media on the operational skills and motivation to learn mathematics of fourth-grade students at SDN Sumowono, Semarang Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The subjects of the study were all 34 fourth-grade students at SDN Sumowono. Data collection techniques used questionnaires to increase motivation to learn mathematics, tests to improve basic operational skills, and documentation as a data collection tool. Data analysis was carried out using IBM SPSS Statistics version 27, which included tests of validity, reliability, normality, linearity, correlation between Pearson Product Moments, and significance (t). The results showed that the use of certain media had a positive and significant effect on students' operational skills and motivation to learn mathematics. In addition, basic operational skills had a significant relationship with motivation to learn mathematics. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of concrete media in mathematics learning is effective in improving basic arithmetic operations and learning motivation of fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The use of technology-based learning media plays an important role in improving the quality of learning and learning outcomes of elementary school students. Interactive learning media can help students understand the concept of changing the form of objects in a more concrete and interesting way. This study aims to find out the differences in student learning outcomes before and after using the Educational Qreatif Application for Changes in the Shape of Things, the difference in learning outcomes between students who use the application and those who do not use the application, and determine the effectiveness of using the application in improving student learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental type and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The research sample amounted to 50 grade IV students consisting of 2 class classes, each class amounted to 25 students. Data was collected through pretest and posttest, then analyzed using paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain test with the help of SPSS. The results showed a significant difference in learning outcomes, as well as an N-Gain value of 0.6871 with a moderate category and a fairly effective percentage. It can be concluded that the use of the Educational Qreatif Application for Changes in the Shape of Objects is quite effective in improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) Assemblr EDU learning media on the science and social studies (IPAS) learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Elementary School. A quantitative approach with quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design was employed. The research subjects consisted of 44 fifth-grade students, with 22 students in the experimental group and 22 students in the control group, selected through total sampling. Data were collected using cognitive test instruments that had been validated for reliability and validity. Data analysis included normality testing (Shapiro-Wilk), homogeneity testing (Levene), hypothesis testing (Independent Sample T-Test), and N-Gain analysis. Results showed that the experimental class average posttest score (93) was higher than the control class (79). The Independent Sample T-Test yielded t = 5.567 with significance <0.001, indicating a significant difference between both groups. The N-Gain value of the experimental class reached 70.35% (high category), while the control class obtained 40.22% (medium category). It is concluded that the use of AR Assemblr EDU media has a positive and significant effect on improving IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students on the topic of Getting to Know Our Earth.

Abstract

This study aims to develop KARINA (National Interactive Card) learning media based on Augmented Reality (AR) to improve students’ learning outcomes on the topic of traditional clothing for third-grade students. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method adapted from the four-dimensional (4D) development model, comprising the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research involved six students in a small group test and 23 students in a large group test. Data were collected using both testing and non-testing instruments. Testing instruments included pre-tests and post-tests, while non-testing instruments consisted of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Data analysis was performed using Shapiro–Wilk tests for normality, paired-sample t-tests, and N-Gain calculations with SPSS 31. Validation results indicated that the learning media is in the very feasible category, with scores of 88% from material experts and 93% from media experts. The effectiveness of the media was demonstrated by significant improvements in learning outcomes: in the small group test, the average score increased from 57.5 to 85 (N-Gain = 0.62), while in the large group test, it increased from 67.3 to 89 (N-Gain = 0.57). Both results are categorized as quite effective. These findings indicate that AR-based Interactive Cards are effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education.

Abstract

Urgensi pengembangan media ini terletak pada perlunya inovasi media pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik serta memanfaatkan teknologi digital secara bermakna dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Lapbook berbasis Augmented Reality pada materi mengenal tugas pemimpin di daerahku sebagai media pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial bagi peserta didik sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini dilandasi oleh kondisi pembelajaran yang masih didominasi metode ceramah serta terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif sehingga menyebabkan peserta didik kurang aktif dan hasil belajar belum optimal. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model pengembangan yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket, pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data pada pada penelitian ini digunakan untuk menguji kelayakan dan efektivitas media yang dikembangkan. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 21 peserta didik kelas III sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media Lapbook yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi dengan persentase 95,8% dan ahli media sebesar 93%. Hasil implementasi menunjukan adanya peningkatan dengan analisis keefektifan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test dan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil Uji Wilcoxon menunjukan nilai signifikan 0,000 (< 0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan media yang dikembangkan menunjukan adanya peningkatan dengan menggunakan uji N-Gain sebesar 0,8887 yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Media Lapbook berbasis Augmented Reality yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial sekolah dasar

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pop-up book yang inovatif dan menarik guna meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar terhadap materi keberagaman suku bangsa dalam pembelajaran IPS. Pembelajaran IPS pada materi keanekaragaman etnis di sekolah dasar masih didominasi oleh buku ajar, sehingga pembelajaran kurang menarik dan pemahaman siswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book pada materi keanekaragaman etnis bagi siswa kelas IV SD, menilai kelayakan media melalui penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media, serta menganalisis efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi) dan dilaksanakan di SDN Sadeng 01 Kota Semarang dengan 22 siswa kelas IV sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari: (1) tes berupa pretest dan posttest pilihan ganda 25 soal untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar, (2) lembar observasi untuk menilai aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran, (3) kuesioner validasi media untuk ahli materi dan ahli media, serta (4) wawancara untuk mendalami tanggapan siswa dan guru. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan persentase kelayakan media dan uji N-Gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media Pop-Up Book sangat layak digunakan, dengan persentase validasi 95% dari ahli media dan 93,3% dari ahli materi. Analisis efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan N-Gain 0,56 pada uji coba skala kecil dan 0,67 pada uji coba skala besar, termasuk kategori menengah. Media Pop-Up Book terbukti efektif sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif untuk mendukung pemahaman siswa terhadap materi keanekaragaman etnis di sekolah dasar.
