Abstract

Dalam upaya mewujudkan kemandirian dalam kehidupan yang dapat meningkatkan mutu ekonomi masyarakat, maka pentingnya peningkatan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berupa pendampingan yang praktikal kepada masyarakat. Kelompok masyarakat yang beranggotakan ibu-ibu penggerak di lingkungan lokasi PKM telah berhasil memproduksi sabun cuci piring dalam skala industri kecil. Keterbatasan pemasaran yang dialami membuat keuntungan dari penjualan produk masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, tim PKM melakukan pendampingan terkait hal dasar, yaitu peningkatan pemasaran produk yang difokuskan kepada kemasan, merek, dan label produk. Metode pendampingan dimulai dari perencanaan, persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Semua ututan kegiatan ini dicantumkan dalam laporan akhir. Hasil pendampingan oleh tim PKM menunjukkan adanya beberapa beberapa perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Dengan strategi packing kini tampilan produk ini memiliki tampilan yang lebih menarik dan elegan. Hal inilah yang menyebabkan akhirnya ada beberapa distributor yang ingin produk tersebut masuk ke warung mereka. Selain itu keinginan masyarakat dalam membeli juga semakin banyak. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan strategi pemasaran melalui peningkatan dalam kemasan produk serta memberi merek dan label produk menjadi pilihan utama dalam meningkatakan daya jual.

Abstract

This study investigates the sustainable utilization of fly ash, palm slag and Cement By-Pass Dust (CBPD) waste as alternative materials for environmentally friendly brake pad development. These waste materials, with compositions similar to Asbestos, historically used in brake pad composites, present an eco-conscious solution. Integrating industrial waste in brake pad production offers substantial environmental benefits, technological progress, and commercial advantages. The compaction value and particle size distribution significantly impact brake pad mechanical properties. Adjusting these factors is crucial for meeting desired mechanical property requirements. A large particle size distribution enhances material density and hardness poses challenges in maintaining performance stability at high temperatures despite good recovery values. This paper highlights the potential of waste materials for sustainable brake pad development and underscores the need for careful optimization for high-temperature stability.

Abstract

The liquefaction that occurred in the city of Palu on September 28, 2018, was caused by a series of significant earthquakes that took place in a relatively short time around 25 minutes after the main earthquake of magnitude 7.5. This event was followed by aftershocks of magnitudes 6.4, 6.2, and 6.1. The magnitude 6.2 aftershock occurred at 10.16 UTC, while the magnitude 6.1 aftershock occurred at 10.25 UTC. These were both located very close to the liquefaction locations in Balaroa, Petobo, and Jono Oge. We investigated the mainshock and the three aftershocks using the NCEER method based on Vs30 measurements and data from the drill liquefaction locations at Balaroa, Petobo, and Jono Oge. We found that the liquefaction was not only caused by the main earthquake but also by the subsequent aftershocks that occurred within 25 minutes after the mainshock.
