Abstract

The development of Islamic character among children in Al-Qur’an Education Parks (TPA) remains a crucial challenge, particularly in optimizing character formation aligned with Islamic values. This community service project aims to strengthen the Islamic character of children at TPA Sindang Mulya Village through a structured mentoring program supported by additional educational approaches. The methods applied include mentoring activities combined with demonstration, cognitive, affective, and psychomotor strategies, all designed to foster holistic character development. The program was implemented for 30 days at TPA Sindang Mulya, with participants consisting of children actively enrolled in the TPA program. The findings indicate a significant improvement in children’s Islamic character, particularly in the aspects of honesty, politeness, and discipline. Mentoring proved to be effective in shaping attitudes and behaviors consistent with Islamic values while also enhancing the learning experience in both religious and social contexts. Furthermore, the structured combination of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor approaches allowed the children to internalize values more effectively and apply them in daily interactions. In conclusion, this community service demonstrates that mentoring programs can serve as an effective strategy for character building in TPA settings. Therefore, similar initiatives should be sustained and expanded to other communities to achieve broader impacts.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) focusing on the development of the Wet Laboratory of FPIK UNKHAIR as an eduminawisata demonstrates the integration of academic resources with coastal-based tourism potential. This facility functions not only as a research and learning center but also as an interactive educational tourism site that combines marine literacy, aquaculture practices, and coastal conservation. Activities implemented include mangrove seedling cultivation using polybags and bamboo methods, aquaculture of milkfish, tilapia, shrimp, and mud crab, as well as the utilization of aquaponic–biofloc systems and water quality monitoring tools. The presence of mangrove species such as Sonneratia alba and Nypa fruticans further enhances ecological education and conservation values. Community involvement in training and creative economic initiatives strengthens local capacity while creating sustainable benefits. Student participation through academic recognition also supports the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka framework. Overall, this program successfully integrates education, research, community service, and empowerment, positioning the Wet Laboratory as an innovative model of coastal eduminawisata that contributes to marine-based sustainable development.

Abstract

Graphical Abstract   Highlight Research DSAS based on geographic information systems has the ability to extract important information on the dynamics of shoreline changes, both accretion and abrasion. The dynamics of shoreline change in the short period of time 2018-2023 in the IWIP industrial area shows a very dynamic change process dominated by accretion. The conversion of beach into land was more prevalent than the process of shoreline retreat in the study area. The abrasion rate in this study area was categorized as moderate, while the accretion rate was categorized as very high due to construction activities.     Abstract The development of industrial estate infrastructure in coastal areas causes significant changes in coastal morphology. Despite extensive infrastructure development in coastal zones, limited empirical data exists on the shoreline dynamics of newly established industrial estates, particularly in Eastern Indonesia, thus highlighting the urgency of this study. This study investigates coastal morphology changes in the PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP) industrial area over five years using Landsat 8 OLI level 2A satellite imagery and geospatial analysis. Shoreline extraction was performed using the Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) algorithm and analyzed with the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) applying the Net Shoreline Movement (NSM), End Point Rate (EPR), and Linear Regression Rate (LRR) methods. The findings show that from 2018 to 2023, the shoreline in the PT IWIP area predominantly experienced accretion. The highest rate of shoreline accretion occurred in industrial zone, with a maximum of 147.58 m/year and an average of 36.56 m/year, while residential zones in the eastern and western regions experienced moderate abrasion, with a maximum of 12.32 m/year and an average of 4.11 m/year. Categorization followed standard DSAS criteria, where shoreline changes between 10–30 m/year were considered moderate, and changes above 30 m/year were classified as very high. Measurement accuracy was validated using high-resolution Google Earth imagery and Landsat metadata, ensuring positional accuracy within ±30 meters. These results highlight the rapid and spatially varied shoreline changes driven by industrial activities, emphasizing the importance of remote sensing in monitoring and managing coastal development impacts

Abstract

Mangrove plants can be used as natural dyes to replace synthetic dyes. One part of the mangrove plant that has the potential to be used is the leaves. Sonneratia sp is a type of mangrove that can be used as a raw material in making ecoprints, where the results of this type of ecoprint leave a light green trail with an even shape. All parts of the mangrove plant can be used as a coloring material for ecoprint products with the pounding method. The objectives of the PKM activity are: partners can learn about the benefits of Sonneratia alba mangrove leaves as raw materials for ecoprints, empowering the community in increasing innovative creativity through making ecoprints, applying Sonneratia alba mangrove leaf ecoprint making technology with the pounding method and getting quality ecoprint product motifs. The activity method carried out in the ecoprint making training is carried out through several stages, namely field surveys/observations, counseling and training. The results of the PKM provide knowledge about the benefits of Sonneratia alba mangrove leaves as raw materials for making ecoprint products and increasing creativity in making ecoprints with the pounding technique. This ecoprint training activity is not only for education or knowledge, but can also help improve the economy, this training activity gets positive value and support from the Maitara Island community, especially for the managers of the Ngusulenge mangrove tourism object, Maitara Tengah Village. This activity is a trigger to be more enthusiastic about working to utilize natural resources, especially mangrove forests. Ecoprint products are expected to be one of the typical souvenirs of Maitara Island and the ecoprint products produced are bags, tablecloths, handkerchiefs and headscarves.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kebutuhan pengembangan model ECO-ELT (Ecological English Language Teaching) inklusif berbasis kearifan lokal Islami dan komunikasi global dari perspektif pengajar di Pondok Pesantren Ulul Albab, Kota Bima. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus instrumental, penelitian ini melibatkan satu guru bahasa Inggris sebagai subjek utama melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen kurikulum. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pesantren telah mengimplementasikan kurikulum adaptif yang mengintegrasikan Kurikulum Merdeka dengan sistem Pesantren Gontor, menciptakan ekosistem dwibahasa (Arab-Inggris) melalui English Days dan Arabian Days. Kolaborasi strategis dengan stakeholder eksternal—hotel, dinas pertanian, peternakan, dan pariwisata—menghasilkan authentic learning experiences yang melampaui pembelajaran konvensional. Integrasi ekosistem hijau sekolah (peternakan, kolam ikan, tanaman kelor) dalam project-based learning membentuk ekoliterasi siswa melalui kerangka Cognitive-Emotional-Responsibility-Action. Kajian ECO-ELT inklusif pada pesantren ini teridentifikasi memadukan lima pilar: (1) kurikulum adaptif responsif konteks, (2) ekosistem dwibahasa terstruktur, (3) pembelajaran berbasis komunitas dan lingkungan otentik, (4) integrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Islami, dan (5) pemanfaatan teknologi untuk amplifikasi komunikasi ekologis global. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan framework ECO-ELT yang applicable untuk sekolah Islam terpadu dengan atau tanpa fasilitas pekarangan luas, menekankan fleksibilitas pedagogis dan resourcefulness dalam menciptakan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang holistik, bermakna, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Penanae Kecamatan Raba Kota Bima memanfaatkan media sosial facebook profesional sebagai sarana membangun eksistensi diri, mengembangkan komunitas, serta memperoleh penghasilan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan netnografi (Kozinets), melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan tujuh informan ibu rumah tangga pengguna facebook pro. Dalam beberapa pengumpulan data dilengkapi dengan berbagai sumber terupdate yang terkoneksi dengan sumber data baik primer maupun data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa facebook pro dimanfaatkan bukan hanya sebagai media berbagi informasi pribadi, tetapi juga untuk meningkatkan eksistensi publik, membangun jejaring komunitas digital, dan memanfaatkan fitur monetisasi seperti bintang, iklan reels, serta promosi produk. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa media sosial berperan penting sebagai ruang partisipasi sosial dan ekonomi bagi perempuan.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi, khususnya kecerdasan buatan (artificial intelligence/AI), telah menjadi pilar utama transformasi dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana pendidikan AI dalam dunia pendidikan, terutama di lingkungan sekolah, dengan menyoroti pendekatan teoritis dan praktisnya. Artikel ini disusun dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan ditunjang metode studi pustaka/literatur terkait dengan pendidikan AI di sekolah. Dari hasil telaah didapatkan gambaran bahwa secara teoritis, pendidikan AI di sekolah memungkinkan pembelajaran yang lebih personal, pengembangan kurikulum berbasis kebutuhan, serta peningkatan efisiensi pengajaran. AI membantu pendidik memahami kebutuhan siswa, memberikan saran remedial, serta mendukung pembelajaran inklusif dan dinamis. Secara praktis, pendidikan AI di sekolah mencakup penyesuaian kurikulum, peningkatan literasi digital guru, kolaborasi dengan industri, serta integrasi teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran sehari-hari. Teknologi seperti asisten suara, konten cerdas, penerjemah presentasi, kursus global, penilaian otomatis, dan pembelajaran personalisasi memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap efisiensi dan efektivitas pendidikan. Dibutuhkan keseimbangkan peran AI dengan aspek humanis dalam pendidikan, di mana guru tetap menjadi aktor sentral dalam membentuk karakter dan moral siswa.

Abstract

Persistent skills mismatches and prolonged school-to-work transitions among vocational education and training (VET) graduates, intensified by Industry 4.0, highlight the need for stronger alignment between VET systems and labor market demands. Career guidance has emerged as a key institutional mechanism supporting employability and workforce readiness. However, its integrative role in linking educational outcomes with labor market needs remains insufficiently synthesized. This study systematically reviews how career guidance in VET is conceptualized, implemented, and evaluated in relation to employability. Using PRISMA guidelines, a systematic literature review was conducted across Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, ERIC, and Google Scholar, yielding 41 peer-reviewed articles. Thematic synthesis shows that career guidance functions as an integrated mechanism enhancing employability, career adaptability, and workforce readiness. Key approaches include Work-Integrated Learning, competency-based frameworks, and digital career guidance platforms, which improve career awareness and alignment with labor market needs. Challenges identified include limited institutional capacity, insufficient expertise, technological disparities, and weak labor market information systems. The study integrates Human Capital Theory, Social Cognitive Career Theory, and Career Construction Theory within a lifelong learning perspective to explain the multidimensional role of career guidance. These findings offer policy and practical insights for strengthening career guidance systems to support sustainable workforce development in the digital economy
