Abstract

The first inspection revealed several significant problems related to working conditions, according to the Yogyakarta City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service. Employee comfort and productivity are negatively affected by inadequate lighting and poor air circulation in the workplace. Apart from that, limited facilities such as limited workspaces are also an inhibiting factor in improving employee abilities and skills, as well as opportunities to achieve desired career goals. Another problem was employee loyalty which needed to be increased, which was reflected in employee absenteeism during working hours. This research involved 60 employees as a population with sampling using the census method. Career advancement opportunities, a pleasant work environment, and intrinsic motivation together have a good and substantial influence on employee loyalty, according to research using multiple linear regression. Career development, work environment, and motivation simultaneously have a positive effect on employee loyalty. Employees tend to be more loyal to the company as a whole if these areas are improved.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs, compensation, and work environment on employee job satisfaction at CV. Banyu Sabrang Batik Kulon Progo. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing primary data collected from 60 operational employees. Data analysis was conducted through several stages, including validity and reliability tests, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The findings reveal that the OHS program does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction, suggesting that the implementation of OHS within the company remains suboptimal and fails to enhance employee satisfaction. Conversely, compensation and work environment show a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Adequate compensation provides employees with a sense of appreciation for their contributions, while a supportive work environment fosters a sense of safety and comfort in the workplace. The coefficient of determination value of 0.817 indicates that 81.7% of the variation in job satisfaction is influenced by the three variables studied, while the remaining 18.3% is affected by other factors not included in the analysis. These results underscore the importance of fair compensation and a conducive work environment in promoting employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of internship experience, job interest, and soft skills on students' job readiness. Students need to be well-prepared to face the challenges of the professional world. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, focusing on students from the Management Study Program at Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University, class of 2021. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale to measure students' perceptions of internship experience, job interest, soft skills, and job readiness. The questionnaire was distributed to 72 students selected using purposive sampling, with the criteria of having completed an internship and being actively enrolled as students in the 2021 cohort of the Management Study Program. The total population in this study consists of 252 students. Various statistical analyses were conducted to analyze the data, including reliability and validity tests, t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficient analysis. The results indicate that internship experience has a positive and significant impact on students' job readiness. The more work experience students have, the higher their readiness to enter the workforce. Additionally, job interest also has a positive and significant effect on job readiness, as a high level of motivation drives students to develop the necessary competencies. Soft skills likewise contribute significantly to job readiness, as these abilities help students adapt to changes in the workplace. Overall, this study concludes that internship experience, job interest, and soft skills simultaneously influence students' job readiness.

The quantitative methodology of this research relies on questionnaires that were randomly distributed to gather primary data. Using a Likert scale from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree), researchers asked participants to rate their level of agreement with a series of statements. Using the slovin formula, a sample of 53 individuals was obtained from a population of 113 individuals in this research. Tests for validity and reliability, multiple linear regression analysis, tests for classical assumptions like normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity, and tests for hypotheses like t tests, f tests, and adjusted R2 are all part of the statistical toolbox. Next, SPSS 26 software was used to process the collected data. Work environment and motivation both significantly and positively impact work spirit, according to the study's findings. However, there is substantial evidence that stress at work lowers morale. Researchers interested in learning more about work spirit might use this study's results as a starting point. Furthermore, businesses may use the study's findings to influence policies that aim to boost employee morale and productivity.
