Abstract

Painting exhibitions are part of a discourse strategy published by artists through public spaces. Where art exhibitions generally try to represent multi-dimensional values in the form of artwork from various types of spaces. Exhibitions are seen as art events that are discoursed in the form of exhibition packages with the theme "Tatap". Tatap is the concept of Ahmad Junaidin's solo exhibition which consists of three categories of small sub-themes, namely the theme of nature, the theme of Sasak mythology, and the theme of tradition. Behind the exhibition with the theme "Tatap" of course, there is another purpose that must be conveyed by the discourse to the audience. The purpose of this study is to try to describe the existence of the dimensions of the artist's paintings that are exhibited and the curatorial dimensions presented in the form of a narrative of the relationship between works and paintings are dimensions that are related to one another. Because behind the text, both visual and verbal, there are certain intentions and purposes. This study uses a qualitative research type with the Halliday discourse analysis research method consisting of the field of discourse (field of discourse) what is being discussed, the discourse participants (tenor of discourse) who are involved in the conversation, and the mode of discourse (mode of discourse) the choice of language used by the media. The results of the study show that what is exhibited and what is opined experience distortion between the work and its curatorial.

Abstract

Directing is a very important pragment in the creative process of theater performances without a director a group will have difficulty in questioning its existence. Odop Theater as a student theater group experiences a lack of directors and regeneration in its community. With this directing training, it is hoped that directors will begin to be regenerated. The training used the methods of 1) experience-based approach, 2) discussion or delivery of directing material, 3) technical training, and 4) performance. The results of the training found that there is potential in students to become a director as evidenced by the results of the training one of the participants managed to create a performance. The performance was staged at the Student Theater Week 2025 competition at Taman Budaya Nusa Teanggara Barat. With the presence of a director in the Odop theater of SMA 6 Mataram, it is hoped that its existence as a theater continues to develop and revive creativity in the studio.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis berita seni bagi remaja di komunitas Acenta Pena desa Kuranji Dalang, kecamatan Labuapi, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Melalui pelatihan ini, remaja diharapkan dapat menulis dengan lebih baik tentang berbagai kegiatan seni yang ada di desa mereka, yang pada gilirannya dapat memperkenalkan dan mempromosikan seni dan budaya lokal. Program ini juga bertujuan untuk membangkitkan minat remaja terhadap dunia jurnalistik serta meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi mereka melalui media tulisan. Metodologi pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menekankan pada prinsip belajar sambil praktik (learning by doing), sehingga tidak hanya berorientasi pada pemberian materi secara teoritis, tetapi juga menitikberatkan pada aspek keterlibatan langsung dalam kegiatan jurnalistik yang sesungguhnya Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan menulis berita seni di kalangan remaja desa. Selain itu pelatihan ini juga berimplikasi pada meningkatnya motivasi remaja untuk mempelajari seni dan budaya.

Abstract

Penguatan kapasitas guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif digital menjadi hal penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar di sekolah dasar. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SDN 1 Ijobalit dalam merancang dan menerapkan media pembelajaran interaktif serta memperkuat kemampuan pedagogis mereka dalam mengintegrasikan media digital ke dalam RPP dan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi empat tahap, yaitu persiapan, workshop praktik langsung, pendampingan di kelas, dan evaluasi. Workshop diberikan selama 2-3 hari dengan pendekatan hands-on, diskusi, dan studi kasus, diikuti pendampingan praktik di kelas untuk memastikan guru mampu menerapkan media interaktif secara efektif. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, dan analisis hasil belajar siswa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam membuat media interaktif seperti kuis digital, modul animasi, dan presentasi interaktif, peningkatan motivasi serta keterlibatan siswa, serta kemudahan guru dalam menyiapkan RPP dan media pembelajaran. Keberlanjutan program difasilitasi melalui komunitas praktik guru yang mendukung berbagi pengalaman dan pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, kombinasi workshop, pendampingan praktik, dan komunitas belajar terbukti efektif menutup gap antara keterampilan teknis dan pedagogis, serta mendorong perubahan nyata dalam proses pembelajaran di SDN 1 Ijobalit.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perspective of the Segara Katon village community, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency on the importance of education for them. The approach in this study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This study provides a description and explanation of the conditions or symptoms faced. . Data collection techniques in this study use three types of techniques, namely observation, interviews, documentation. Descriptive qualitative research is declared valid if there is no difference between the reported data and what actually happens to the object being studied. The results of the study explain that educational awareness in Segara Katon village, the community does not prioritize education because they do not know the importance of education for survival. There are at least two factors that influence the level of awareness of the Segara Katon village community towards education, namely external factors and internal factors. External factors that influence include economic factors (economic limitations), family factors (support in the family), and environmental factors (social situations of the community). While internal factors are related to the motivation of the community itself to carry out education.

Abstract

This study analyzes the potential of the traditional performing art Cupak Gurantang in supporting cultural tourism in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Indonesia. Cupak Gurantang is a distinctive folk theater from Lombok that conveys moral and social values through the conflict between Cupak, a cunning character, and Gerantang, an honest one. Through this narrative, the performance functions not only as entertainment but also as a medium for moral education within the community. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review as data collection methods. Analysis is conducted through a SWOT method and a participatory approach to explore the cultural functions, preservation challenges, and development strategies. The findings indicate that Cupak Gurantang plays a significant role in preserving local cultural identity and strengthening moral values among society. However, several challenges persist, including limited regeneration of young performers, financial constraints, and the marginalization of traditional arts within a tourism sector that tends to prioritize natural attractions. The study recommends community empowerment, youth training, innovative performance presentations, and the use of digital promotion and integration into cultural tourism packages. With these strategies, Cupak Gurantang holds substantial potential to become a sustainable cultural tourism attraction in West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

Kain tenun merupakan komponen yang tak terpisahkan dari kekayaan budaya Indonesia yang memadai. Artikel ini mengenalkan kain tenun Kembang Kerang dari Pulau Lombok sebagai representasi penting dari warisan tekstil tradisional. Penelitian ini menyoroti tantangan yang dihadapi dalam upaya pelestarian dan promosi kain tenun, terutama dalam konteks hak kekayaan intelektual (HKI). Meskipun memiliki potensi besar sebagai aset pariwisata dan warisan budaya, kain tenun Kembang Kerang belum sepenuhnya diberikan perlindungan hukum yang memadai. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan empiris untuk menganalisis kain tenun Kembang Kerang dan mengidentifikasi tantangan terkait perlindungan HKI. Temuan kami menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun kain tenun ini memiliki nilai budaya yang tinggi, perlindungan hukumnya masih minim, khususnya dalam hal pendaftaran hak cipta. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa kain tenun Kembang Kerang memiliki daya tarik yang kuat, tidak hanya sebagai produk seni, tetapi juga sebagai simbol status sosial dan budaya. Namun, tanpa perlindungan hukum yang memadai, kain tenun ini rentan terhadap penggunaan tidak sah dan plagiarisme. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan hak kekayaan intelektual untuk melindungi dan mempromosikan kain tenun Kembang Kerang. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga memberikan saran konkret, termasuk dukungan aktif dari pemerintah, peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat lokal, dan kolaborasi antara berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Diharapkan bahwa melalui implementasi saran-saran ini, kain tenun Kembang Kerang dapat mendapatkan perlindungan hukum yang lebih baik dan menjadi simbol kebanggaan budaya yang mendukung pembangunan ekonomi dan pariwisata di Pulau Lombok.

Abstract

Artistic communication can be defined as the process of exchanging information, ideas, and expressions through the medium of art. In the context of performance, artistic communication not only involves the interaction between artists and the audience but also encompasses the ways in which cultural values and traditions are conveyed and understood. In relation to this perspective, this research aims to elucidate the patterns and processes of artistic communication in the Dongkrek performance in Madiun. The objective of this study is to analyse and delve into the artistic communication within the Dongkrek performance in Madiun. Specifically, this research aims to identify the elements of communication present in the performance. The method employed in this study is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Observations were conducted during the Dongkrek performance to understand the dynamics of communication occurring between the artists and the audience. Dongkrek in Madiun functions not only as entertainment but also as an important medium for cultural communication. Dongkrek, which is part of the local performing arts tradition, conveys the social, cultural, and identity values of the Madiun community. Through the analysis of various elements in the performance, including music, dance, and narrative, it was found that Dongkrek possesses the ability to convey profound messages to its audience.
