Abstract

Early reading is essential for children aged 5-6 years. In implementing the Merdeka curriculum, early reading skills are not the main domain in the learning process. However, the unique thing is that students in the Merdeka curriculum can understand and apply their age-appropriate early reading skills as applied in one of the early childhood institutions in Yogyakarta. This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of a Merdeka curriculum-based early reading ability strategy. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. The subjects are kindergarten teachers and students. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation techniques which were analyzed using data reduction, display, and verification. The study results show that students' early reading skills have developed well and are under age stages. Children can recognize, classify, and understand letters in a word and read. It is supported by various strategies that emphasize the recognition of meaningful letters. Among them are word trains, identifying letters and words in storybooks on literacy topics, introducing words through adjustments to literacy topics, spelling names using songs, making name tags on objects, writing personal names and project names, and house letters.     Abstrak Kemampuan membaca awal merupakan kemampuan yang penting dimiliki oleh anak usia 5-6 tahun. Pada penerapan kurikulum Merdeka, kemampuan membaca awal tidak menjadi domain utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, uniknya peserta didik pada kurikulum Merdeka dapat memahami dan menerapkan kemampuan membaca awal sesuai usianya sebagaimana yang diterapkan di salah satu lembaga anak usia dini di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjabarkan implementasi strategi kemampuan membaca awal berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek adalah guru dan siswa taman kanak-kanak. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca awal peserta didik telah berkembang baik dan sesuai dengan tahapan usiannya. Anak dapat mengenali, mengelompokkkan, memahami huruf dalam sebuah kata, dan membaca sederhana. Hal tersebut didukung oleh berbagai strategi yang menekankan pada pengenalan huruf bermakna. Di antaranya kereta kata, mengidentifikasi huruf dan kata yang ada pada buku cerita topik literasi, mengenalkan kata melalui peneyesuaian dengan topik literasi, mengeja nama menggunakan lagu, membuat label nama pada benda, menulis nama diri dan nama proyek, dan rumah huruf.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan dipandang menjadi kekuatan terdepan dalam pengembangan implementasi moderasi beragama. Jenjang pendidikan dasar perlu mendapat perhatian lebih dalam penanaman nilai moderasi beragama dengan menyasar guru karena dalam proses pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengenali pemahaman, strategi penguatan, serta tindak lanjut kegiatan pelatihan penguatan moderasi beragama pada Guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Islam Hasyim Asy’ari Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan mengedepankan aspek-aspek kekuatan, aset, dan potensi masyarakat. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Pemahaman moderasi beragama pada guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Islam Hasyim Asy’ari Pikatan Kecamatan Wonodadi Kabupaten Blitar berdasarkan analisis before dan after menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman moderasi beragama. (2) Tahap-tahap yang dikerjakan dalam strategi penguatan moderasi beragama dengan pendekatan Aset Based Community-driven Development pada guru SDI Hasyim Asy’ari meliputi Inkulturasi (Perkenalan/Pendekatan), Discovery (Mencari Informasi), Design (Mengetahui Aset dan Mengidentifikasi Peluang), Define (mendukung keterlaksanaan program kerja). (3) Tindak lanjut kegiatan pelatihan penguatan moderasi beragama tersebut adalah mengembangkan penguatan moderasi beragama dengan kolaborasi antar bapak/ibu guru dan kelompok orang tua/ wali murid untuk mendiskusikan tentang kemaslahatan, kesejahteran, yang bertanggung jawab untuk mensosialisasikan untuk warga sekitar, serta mencari solusi agar terhindar dari penyimpangan dengan pengawasan kepala sekolah.

Abstract

The lack of effectiveness of government thematic books taught in elementary schools currently tends to lead to low learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic. However, the problem seems to be getting worse because of the unavailability of suitable learning media to support the teaching and learning process from home for educators and students during the covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, this research was conducted to develop thematic e-module media based on Al-Qur'an verses to improve student learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic. This study was developed based on the Borg & Gall model with data collected using questionnaires, tests, and documentation and analyzed through the Independent Sample T-test. The results show sig.(2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. then Ha is accepted while H0 is rejected. It was found that the average student learning outcomes improved to 83.4 and learning completeness by 83.33% after receiving treatment in the form of thematic e-module media based on Al-Qur'an verses. This shows that this subjects is feasible to be implemented as a learning medium because of its effectiveness in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of MI Al-Hidayah 02 Betak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of implementing the literal translation method on Maharah Qira’ah in Arabic language learning at STAI KH. Muhammad Ali Shodiq. Arabic is a very important subject to teach in madrasahs. In relation to the significance of the Arabic language, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia's grand plan states that the subjects of Islamic Education and Arabic Language in the content standards indicate that Arabic serves as the primary tool for understanding Islamic teachings. This research is a quantitative study of the pre-experimental type. The results of this study show that the application of the literal translation method has a positive and significant impact on Maharah Qira’ah among second-semester students of the Arabic Language Education program at STAI KH. Muhammad Ali Shodiq. By using this learning method, students' abilities in Arabic, particularly in Maharah Qira’ah, have improved.

Abstract

This research examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in public policy through a literature study approach. The background of the research is based on the rapid development of digitalization and the increasing need for innovation in governance. AI, as a data analysis and prediction tool, has the potential to improve the quality of decision-making and the efficiency of public administration. This study identifies various AI implementations in the health, transportation, and public service sectors in several countries, highlighting benefits such as improved service effectiveness and operational optimization. However, AI implementation also poses ethical challenges such as algorithmic bias, privacy issues, and lack of transparency in the decision-making process. The discussion in this study addresses policy recommendations to address these challenges as well as a comparison of AI adoption in developed and developing countries, providing insights into best practices and anticipated barriers. The research concludes that responsible AI adoption, supported by comprehensive regulation and capacity building of the apparatus, can significantly transform public policy.

Abstract

The Daurah Tadribiyyah Native Speaker program aims to enhance the speaking (maharah kalam) and writing (maharah kitabah) skills of Arabic Education (PBA) students at STAI KH. Muhammad Ali Shodiq Tulungagung. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, this program incorporates Middle Eastern native speakers and the academic community to support Arabic linguistic and cultural proficiency. The program employs practice-based learning, group discussions, and direct interaction with native speakers to create a conducive language environment (bi’ah lughawiyah). Results show that 95% of students experienced significant improvements in communication and vocabulary. About 85% endorsed the program's continuation, though 15% showed less interest, particularly students with non-Arabic backgrounds requiring more contextualized methods. Other challenges include students’ limited awareness and motivation to actively use Arabic on campus. While the program has proven effective, further optimization is needed, especially in technological support, contextual learning strategies, and sustained mentoring. With these improvements, the program is expected to have a broader impact on fostering a generation proficient in Arabic language and culture.ABSTRAKProgram Daurah Tadribiyyah Native Speaker bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara (maharah kalam) dan menulis (maharah kitabah) mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) di STAI KH. Muhammad Ali Shodiq Tulungagung. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Partisipatif (Participatory Action Research/PAR), program ini melibatkan native speaker dari Timur Tengah dan civitas akademika dalam upaya mendukung penguasaan bahasa dan budaya Arab. Proses pelaksanaan melibatkan pembelajaran berbasis praktik, diskusi kelompok, dan interaksi langsung dengan penutur asli, sehingga menciptakan lingkungan berbahasa yang kondusif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 95% mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam komunikasi dan penguasaan kosa kata. Sebanyak 85% mendukung keberlanjutan program, meskipun 15% menyatakan kurang tertarik, terutama mahasiswa dari latar belakang non-Arab yang memerlukan pendekatan yang lebih relevan. Hambatan lainnya termasuk kurangnya kesadaran dan motivasi mahasiswa terhadap pentingnya penggunaan bahasa Arab secara aktif di lingkungan kampus. Program ini terbukti efektif, namun masih memerlukan optimalisasi, terutama dalam penyediaan dukungan teknologi, strategi pembelajaran kontekstual, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Dengan peningkatan tersebut, program ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak lebih luas dalam menciptakan generasi yang kompeten dalam bahasa dan budaya Arab.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Regional Independence Ratio, the Effectiveness of Regional Original Income, and Regional Expenditure Management on Regional Financial Performance in Regency/City Governments in South Sumatra Province. The population used in this study were all Regencies and Cities in South Sumatra Province consisting of 13 Regencies and 4 Cities starting from the 2018 to 2023 Budget Period. This study is a quantitative study using secondary data obtained from the official website of the Audit Board of Indonesia (www.BPK.go.id). This study was analyzed by multiple linear regression using Eviews 12 Software. The results of this study indicate that the Regional Independence Ratio, the Effectiveness of Regional Original Income, and Regional Expenditure Management have an effect on Regional Financial Performance.

Abstract

CV Agro Mandiri Internusa, is one of the entities that contributes to the economy in the city of Palembang. This operates in peeled coconut, coconut milk, and copra products. As a business that carries out production activities, CV Agro Mandiri Internusa requires analytical methods or tools for cost classification, profit planning or desired sales. In connection with this, the team implementing service program activities from the Indonesian National Police accounting department had the opportunity to help CV Agro Mandiri Internusa. The team implementing service activities provides counseling and assistance in determining profit planning with the help of Break Even Point (BEP) analysis. With this service activity, business owners know the costs incurred in making the product until the product is handed over to the consumer. The final result of the activity is that managers can determine profit planning according to the costs incurred to produce products which previously were only based on predictions without the support of accurate data. In this way, owners/managers can determine sales (selling price and sales volume), accurate profit planning so that the desired profit achievement is measurable

Abstract

CV Central Grandfood Indonesia merupakan usaha yang bergerak di bidang produksi berbagai jenis croissant dan pastry danis. Sejak berdiri pada tahun 2020, usaha ini menunjukkan perkembangan yang cukup pesat. Sebagai salah satu UMKM di Kota Palembang, mitra membutuhkan laporan keuangan untuk mengetahui kinerja usahanya. Selama ini, pencatatan keuangan hanya terbatas pada transaksi penerimaan dan pengeluaran kas secara umum. Untuk itu, diberikan pelatihan penyusunan laporan keuangan berbasis SAK EMKM. Pelatihan mencakup tahap pencatatan transaksi hingga penyusunan laporan keuangan secara lengkap. Laporan yang disusun pemilik usaha kemudian dievaluasi, dan diberikan masukan apabila terdapat kesalahan. Melalui kegiatan ini, manajemen CV Central Grandfood akhirnya mampu menyusun laporan keuangan secara mandiri.

Abstract

This activity aims to increase the awareness of the Tapen Village community regarding the importance of using water hyacinth plants as raw materials for making organic fertilizer, which is an innovative solution that not only helps overcome environmental problems, but also provides economic benefits. The approach method used for the community in Tapen village is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. This method is a research method carried out in a participatory manner between Farmer Groups to encourage the implementation of previously planned programs. This socialization activity was carried out through discussions in the form of providing materials and questions and answers regarding the importance of processing and using water hyacinth as a basic ingredient for liquid organic fertilizer. The results obtained from this activity are able to increase the knowledge and skills of the participants, especially farmer groups, village officials and Tapen Village youth in processing water hyacinth into liquid organic fertilizer. This output is very important because it empowers communities to utilize the natural resources around them, as well as reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers.
