Abstract

This research is meant to examine the impact of the engklek traditional game in developing the kinesthetic intelligence of 5–6-year-old children in group B at TK Alkhairaat Tatura. Kinesthetic intelligence is the capacity to effectively use body movements to convey thoughts or ideas, solve problems, and coordinate physical movements such as strength, agility, and balance. This ability is essential to nurture during early childhood as it supports the development of gross motor skills and active engagement in the learning process. Quantitative method with pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest) was utilized. The sample included 10 children whose physical abilities were assessed before or after engaging in the engklek game activity. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and subsequently analyses were conducted using descriptive and inferential methods, including signed rank-test. The findings showed a significant improvement in children's kinesthetic intelligence after the intervention. The Wilcoxon test results with a statistical value of Z were -2.972 with a significance level of 0.003 < (0.05), indicating a significant difference between before and after treatment. The aspects that improved include leg strength (jumping on one foot), body agility (zigzag running), and balance (walking on a balance beam). In conclusion, the traditional game of engklek positively influences the development of kinesthetic intelligence. This game can serve as an enjoyable and effective learning strategy for enhancing children's physical-motor skills in early childhood education settings.   ABSTRAK  Studi ini dimaksudkan guna mengidentifikasi pengaruh permainan tradisional engklek pada perkembangan kecerdasan kinestetik anak berusia 5–6 tahun di kelompok B TK Alkhairaat Tatura. Kecerdasan kinestetik ialah keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan bagian tubuh secara terampil dalam rangka mengungkapkan gagasan, menyelesaikan masalah, serta mengoordinasikan gerakan fisik seperti kekuatan, kelincahan, dan keseimbangan. Kecerdasan ini penting dikembangkan sejak usia dini karena mendukung pertumbuhan motorik kasar anak dan keterlibatan aktif dalam proses belajar. Pendekatan kuantitatif berdesain pra-eksperimental (one group pretest-posttest) dimanfaatkan. Sampel mencakup 10 anak yang diamati kemampuan fisiknya sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti kegiatan permainan engklek. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi, yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif serta inferensial menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Temuan ini memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kecerdasan kinestetik anak setelah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil uji wilcoxon dengan nilai statistik Z sebesar -2.972 dengan taraf Sig. 0.003 < (0.05), maka diidentifikasi perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum maupun setelah perlakuan. Aspek-aspek yang mengalami peningkatan meliputi kekuatan kaki (melompat satu kaki), kelincahan tubuh (lari zigzag), dan keseimbangan (berjalan di atas papan titian). Kesimpulannya, permainan tradisional engklek memengaruhi perkembangan kecerdasan kinestetik secara positif. Permainan ini mampu menjadi sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan serta efektif dalam menghasilkan peningkatan kemampuan fisik-motorik anak di lingkungan pendidikan anak berusia dini.

Abstract

Abstract the gross motor skills of children in group B of An-Nisa Kita Singgani Maku Kindergarten. This research method is quantitative and the type is experimental. The subjects were 20 children consisting of 13 boys and 7 girls. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, documentation, interviews. Data processing was carried out using percentage and t-test techniques. Based on the results of the recapitulation of children's gross motor skills before being given treatment in the form of throwing and catching ball games, there were no children in the BSB category, there were 13.3% in the BSH category, 56.7% in the MB category, and 30% in the BB category. After being given treatment, the results for the BSB category were 16.7%, the BSH category was 48.3%, the MB category was 35%, and there were no children in the BB category. Next, data calculations were carried out using the t-test technique. According to the results of the t test calculation data, it can be explained that the calculated t value is -7.429 with a significance of 0.000. because the significance is <0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the ball throwing game on the gross motor skills of children in Group B at An-Nisa Kita Singgani Maku Kindergarten, Sigi Regency. Keywords: Gross motor skills, throwing and catching ball games, early childhood Abstrak Permasalahan utama pada penelitian ini adalah kemampuan motorik kasar anak belum berkembang sesuai harapan. Tujuan peneliti ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan lempar tangkap bola terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak di kelompok B TK An-Nisa Kita Singgani Maku. Metode penelitian ini kuantitatif dan jenisnya eksperimen. Subjeknya 20 anak terdiri dari 13 anak laki-laki dan 7 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan teknik presentase dan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi kemampuan motorik kasar anak sebelum diberikan perlakuan berupa kegiatan permainan lempar tangkap bola, tidak terdapat anak dalam kategori BSB, ada 13,3% dalam kategori BSH, ada 56,7% dalam kategori MB, dan ada 30% dalam kategori BB. Sesudah diberikan perlakuan diperoleh hasil kategori BSB ada 16,7%, kategori BSH ada 48,3%, kategori MB ada 35%, dan tidak terdapat anak yang masuk kategori BB. Selanjutnya perhitungan data dilakukan dengan teknik uji-t. Sesuai hasil data perhitungan uji t, dapat dijelaskan bahwa nilai t hitung sebesar -7.429 dengan signifikansi 0.000. karena signifikannya < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh permainan lempar tangkap bola terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak di Kelompok B di TK An-Nisa Kita Singgani Maku Kabupaten Sigi. Abstract

: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan metode bermain kartu kata dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal huruf. Metode penelitian menggunakan tindakan kelas yang mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Nuris Lambara Kecamatan Tawaeli dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 orang anak terdiri dari 7 orang anak perempuan dan 8 orang anak laki-laki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan metode bermain kartu kata terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak. Melalui metode ini, anak-anak menjadi lebih aktif terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran yang pada akhirnya mempercepat pemahaman mereka terhadap bentuk dan bunyi huruf. Peningkatan kemampuan tersebut tercermin dari hasil evaluasi pada setiap siklus tindakan, di mana persentase anak yang mencapai indikator keberhasilan dalam pengenalan huruf menunjukkan peningkatan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu kata dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal huruf di kelompok B TK Nuris Lambara Kecamatan Tawaeli.

Abstract

The health problem that is currently a priority is stunting. Stunting is a nutritional problem that is still a health problem faced by the government. the method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The purpose of this study was to describe the Implementation of Supplementary Feeding for Stunted Children in Lolu Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study showed that: 25 children were found in the stunting category. The Implementation of Supplemental Feeding is carried out by providing additional food in the form of a complete menu that has been provided by cadres who work with several parties such as nutritionists, village midwives, and PKK mothers. After the provision of supplementary food, the stunting rate in Lolu Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency has decreased, this is because the distribution or distribution of PMT is carried out every day, with additional food that focuses on macronutrients and micronutrients aimed at improving the condition of children who are categorized as stunting.

Abstract

Mothers have a crucial role in household affairs and childcare in the family. But now, the role of mothers is starting to change. Some mothers choose to work for various reasons including being able to meet needs, self-actualization, knowledge experience, and to fill spare time. Working mothers will easily experience stress, fatigue, or even frustration if they cannot balance between work and their responsibilities as housewives. This condition will have a bad impact on the family. Parenting self-efficacy is a parent's confidence in their competence in caring for and providing care for children that positively influences the child's behavior and development. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the role of parenting self-efficacy. Participants consisted of 192 working mothers who had children between the ages of 0 and 8. This study used a random sample. Working mothers were given a questionnaire that was distributed according to the SEPTI scale to measure their self-efficacy in parenting. The results showed a significant relationship between stress and well-being among working mothers, t-count values of t = 129,872 > t-table 1,994. The higher the stress level of the mothers, the lower the self-effectiveness of their parents. Conversely, the lower the mother's stress level, the higher their parents' self-efficiency. In the end, the hypothesis was accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of teachers in stimulating disciplined characters in PAUD Kamboja, Tunggaling Village, Banggai Islands Regency. The approach used is descriptive qualitative research, through this method will describe the role of teachers in stimulating disciplined characters in PAUD Kamboja, Tunggaling Village, Banggai Islands Regency. The implementation of character education from an early age is important in shaping children's character by utilizing the golden period of their growth. Therefore, educators are expected to have the ability to instill character values ​​in early childhood. The implementation and planning as well as implementation in the habits carried out by children are certainly inseparable from the role of teachers in developing children's character. Based on the results of observations with teachers at PAUD Kamboja, Tunggaling Village, Banggai Islands Regency, it can be concluded that the role of teachers in stimulating disciplined characters is that a teacher always provides a good example to children such as always being patient, meticulous, coming early to greet the arrival of their students, getting used to being disciplined in queuing when washing hands, being able to put things in their place and being caring towards others. Obstacles often experienced by teachers are the lack of responsibility, participation and support from parents and differences in children's comprehension that have not been able to foster a strong sense of self-confidence to interact in the classroom, so they must be given the right encouragement and stimulation so that children can accept and are able to instill a disciplined character gradually.

Abstract

The problem in the research is that the discipline of children in group A of Al-Khairaat Kindergarten Kayu Malue Ngapa has not developed as expected. The purpose of the research is to improve children's discipline by using the method of giving assignments to group A of Al-Khairaat Kindergarten Kayu Malue Ngapa. This research is a classroom action research, the research subjects are 15 children in group A of Al-Khairaat Kindergarten Kayu Malue Ngapa consisting of 6 boys and 9 girls. After taking action, the results of this study can be concluded that through giving assignments can improve children's discipline, it is proven that there is an increase in the ability from cycle I to cycle II of children coming to school on time in the BSB and BSH categories from 40.00% to 80.00% (40.00%), the ability of children in doing assignments given in the BSB and BSH categories from 46.67% to 80.00% (33.33%), then the ability of children who are terrible in following learning with the BSB and BSH categories from 40.00% to 86.66% (46.66%). In general, there is an average increase of 40.00% from cycle I to cycle II, although there are still children whose discipline has not increased but only around 6.67% of each aspect observed.

Abstract

Aktivitas membuat karya seni dengan menggabungkan beragam komponen dalam satu wadah disebut dengan kegiatan kolase. Fokus utama dari kegiatan ini yaitu mendorong perkembangan motorik halus anak. Metode penelitian mengimplementasikan eksperimen berbasis post-test dan pre-test dengan sasarannya satu kelompok, dan data yang sudah didapatkan akan dianalisis dengan menerapkan uji normalisasi dan hipotesis berbentuk paired sample t-test. Berdasarkan analisis data didapatkan perkembangan motorik halus anak yang meningkat secara signifikan, dimana hal ini terbukti dari adanya perbedaan kemampuan motorik setelah dan sebelum kegiatan kolase. Sehingga bisa ditarik kesimpulan yaitu kegiatan kolase memengaruhi perkembangan motorik halus anak dan kegiatan ini bisa menumbuhkan kreativitas anak selama tahap pembelajaran.

Abstract

Ketidakpuasan terhadap kehidupan seringkali dialami oleh mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat  pengaruh rasa syukur dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap subjective well-being mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi di Universitas Tadulako. Menggunakan rancangan kuantitatif korelasional, penelitian ini melibatkan  106 mahasiswa program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling serta Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini yang sedang menyusun skripsi di Universitas Tadulako. Data dikumpulkan melalui Gratitude Questionnaire–6 (GQ-6), skala kecerdasan emosional dan Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS). Analisis data  menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasa syukur dan kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh terhadap subjective well-being mahasiswa baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya menumbuhkan rasa syukur dan mengelola kecerdasan emosional dengan baik agar subjective well-being tetap terjaga selama proses penyusunan tugas akhir.

Abstract

Early childhood education plays an important role in developing all aspects of child development, one of which is gross motor skills. This study aims to determine the application and effect of the demonstration method on the gross motor skills of children in group B1 at Pembina Samporoa State Kindergarten. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type and a one-group pretest-posttest design. There were 15 children in the study. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis and inferential analysis through a t-test at a significance level of 5%. The results showed a significant increase in children's gross motor skills after the demonstration method was applied. In terms of physical endurance, the Very Good Development (VGD) category increased from 7% to 67%. In terms of balance, the VGD category increased from 0% to 20% and the Developing as Expected (DAE) category increased to 53%. In terms of physical strength, the VGD category increased from 0% to 20% and the DAE category increased from 33% to 67%. The t-test results showed that the t-count value of 10.142 was greater than the t-table value of 1.761, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The conclusion of this study shows that the demonstration method has a significant and effective influence on improving children's gross motor skills, particularly in the aspects of endurance, balance, and body strength.
