Abstract

This research will describes about the motivation Indonesia signed a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) with Member States D-8 on September 9 2011 which is part of wishes to improve the economy in the export and importThe method used in this paper is qualitative research. Some of the data obtained came from books, journals, articles, newspapers, the internet and other media. Abstract

This research explains about cooperation of Riau University and Kyoto University forward management of peatland ecosystem in District Bengkalis-Indonesia. The purpose of this research to know degradation of peatland ecosystem in District Bengkalis-Indonesia have global effect. A huge of peat area unwise exploited, especially for palm oil plantation industrial forest estate (plantation development: forestry and estate corps). This problem have of interest to the international institutions do research of peat, one of it’s Kyoto University. Kyoto University have partnership with Riau University. This research is a qualitative research. Method applied in doing this research is descriptive analysis with aim to depict and analyzed a phenomenon in this case. By using the Pluralism perspective to analyze the role of non state actor and global issue not only limited in security case and military case but international politics agenda very large. Cooperation theory to analyze how human necessities increase and interdependence complex required every state to cooperate. The result of show that peatland degradation have global effect. Parties exploit in this case which is economic interest with do in the name of environment issue. Research of Riau University and Kyoto University give solution for peatland problem with strategy and applied policy sustainable management of peatland ecosystem to reduce the risk of fire and associated regional haze. Also identified were actions (related to research, industry or local management practice or policies) need from different stakeholders, such as local governments, companies, NGOs, communities and researchers, to reduce or resolve the problem of peatland degradation in different scenarios. Abstract

This research describes the policy of Indonesia government support sustainable development program in case waste management in Chevron Pacific Indonesia Company. Environment issue are one of the most important issues in international relations. One of the program to thinking green are sustainable development programs to maintanance of environment.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the role of international organization for migration in antisipated human trafficking in Indonesia. The theories applied in this research are realism perspective with decision making theory by Graham T Allison.The conclusion of this research the policy of Indonesia government support sustainable development program in case waste management in Chevron Pacific Indonesia Company are with rativication of international convention in environment issue, implementation of international standart operation in environment issue, Indonesia Government create a PROPER programs and create some regulations as a rule of waste management.Key words: policy, environment, waste and management.

Abstract

With the enactment of regional autonomy by the Indonesian government, the riau provincial government established an institution that serves to minimize the process, the permit is always requested by the owners of capital / investors. The agency is the Integrated Licensing Service Agency and Capital Investment. This study aims to determine the policy of the institution, to know foreign investment in riau province, to know the impact of the policy of the institution to foreign investment in riau province. This research uses the perspectives of liberalism, this theory is pioneered by david ricardo & adam amith. The concept of this theory is based on the idea of market sovereignty in the economy. In this study the author uses the policy theory of Richard Snyder as a reference. Abstract

This study describes the efforts of UNICEF in addressing childprostitution in the Philippines. UNICEF began providing assistance to thePhilippines in November 1948, since then UNICEF and the Philippinegovernment has become a partner in protecting children and women who arecommercial sex workers in the Philippines. Philippines especially children agedaround 11 to 15 years who netted into a prostitution. UNICEF in the Philippineshas more than 66 people who work to promote and protect children's rights,UNICEF aims to provide the best quality of life for every child in the Philippinesthrough programs that help them to survive and thrive. The main program is aprogram of the UNICEF education, health, nutrition, and prevention of HIV andAIDS.This study describes the phenomenon by linking political and economic power aswell as with government and non-government policy by using the perspective ofthe International Organization. Abstract

 This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Starbucks Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that is Coffee and Farmer Equity (C.A.F.E.) Practices to coffee farmers in Costa Rica. The purpose of this research are to find out and to describe the impact of the C.A.F.E. Practices throughout its four programs and the effectiveness to coffee farmers in Costa Rica. The coffee industry in Costa Rica had been through tough time during 2000s, a lot of issues to concerned, mostly about environmental and social-economic. Starbucks brings their awareness about those issues and fix it by their own CSR program.This research is a qualitative research, which is done by explaining the case based on facts. Neo liberalism theory helps to analyze the role of non nation actor, which is Multinational Corporation. Another theoretical framework applied in this research are Corporate Social Responsibility theory and the effectiveness theory and also group analysis to assisting the researcher to find the answers in this case. The techniques used to collect data to study the case of library research in the form of journals, books, an official document, articles, and websites.The result of this research shows that the four programs that are Quality, Economic Transparency, Social Responsibility and Environmental Leadership in the C.A.F.E. Practices has given impacts to costa rican coffee farmers since it was established in 2004. During its first three years ran, C.A.F.E. Practices focused to help farmers improve their coffee production for the quantity and the quality as well. Environmental issues and social-economic problems decreased from year after year. The effectiveness brought impacts and achieved the main goal of the program that are make the coffee industry to ethically sourced and sustainability. Keyword(s): Effectiveness, C.A.F.E. Abstract

This Research describes that the economic impact of Indonesian batik trade exports to the United States in 2010-2014. This study will look at how far the export activities can affect economic relations for Indonesia and the United States. This study also tried to analyze the impact of the export trade of batik Indonesia in terms of the economic aspects. Researher are keen to discuss the economic impact of Indonesian batik trade export to the United States in 2010-2014 to see how far the export activities can affect economic relations for Indonesia and the United States.This research uses qualitative-analysis method. The datas were obtained from internet, journals, and books. Then, they were collected, summarized and analyzed based on the social research method. This research uses export theory and international cooperation theory. In this research, writers uses theories that support this research appropriate with economic-politic studies.This research explores the issue of economic impacts of Indonesian batik trade exports to the United States in 2010-2014, is to see how far the Indonesian batik exports to the United States is able to influence the foreign exchange Indonesia. Abstract

This research is a contemporary political study which describes The influence of the Minamata Convention on Mercury Emergency in Indonesia. This research will focus on how a treaty makes an effect on a country. This study is interesting because it describes about Minamata treaty and mercury emergency in Indonesia. Minamata Convention is an international agreement designed to protect human health, aims to manage mercury efficiently, effectively and coherently, while members strive for total elimination.This is qualitative research which uses descriptive methods, and collected data from some resources like books, journals, official publications and its relevant websites. This paper uses the constructivism perspective and International Treaty Theory. The object in this research is environment an main actor in International Relations.The result of this research shows that The influence of the Minamata Convention on mercury emergencies in Indonesia, which can reduce mercury emergency status in Indonesia. Ratification of Law No. 11 of 2017 concerning Ratification of the Minamata Convention on Mercury. Reduction in mercury consumption, product replacement / removal, waste management and mercury control at the source.the use of technology in the remediation of land contaminated with mercury is adsorption, phytoremediation, stabilization, and immobilization.Keywords: Treaty, Mercury, Constructivism, Ratification, Minamata Covention

Abstract

This research describe the second branded clothes bussiness from Singapore to Indonesia in Asean Economic Community in 2015-2016. Regionalism are one of agreement between states to create a marekt brief in regions. Asean Economic community was held since 2015 to anticipation the trade from China and India and it’s make a common market in South East Asia Regions.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the policy of Government of Indonesia implemented export constant price for cocoa product from Indonesia to China. The theories applied in this research are neo liberalism with globalization concept.The result shows that the second branded clothes bussiness from Singapore to Indonesia in Asean Economic Community in 2015-2016 are was increase and it’s make effect teh disadvantage for locall textile production. Dsince 2015 the second branded from Singapore was enterance in Batam Island by illegal harbour and the Indonesia government by Custom instituitons was checking the second branded from Singapore.Key words: bussiness, second branded and MEA.

Abstract

This research aims to provide more knowledge to students and public about the effort in conducting the Indonesian Government to strengthen the micro, small, and medium enterprises to confront the ASEAN Economic Community by 2015, particularly on small and medium industry of Bali’s wood crafts in Bali.The research method that used in this study is a qualitative method, which begins with collecting, arranging and enterprising data. This research is an explanatory that describes a problem, symptoms, policies, and actions. Based on the phenomenon that is used as the problems to be studied by the author. While the author uses theory of role and foreign policy, and globalization theory to answer the basic problems that the authors including in this writing. Level analysis that the author used in this research is nation-state.The 2020 acceleration of ASEAN Economic Community to be coming 2015 is one of the seriousness from the fellow countries of ASEAN to realize the economic cooperation in Southeast Asia. Indonesia will be confronted with the opportunity and defiance at once when the ASEAN free trade enforced. To abuse the opportunity, Indonesia makes efforts in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises reinforcement with increase competitiveness Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Indonesia. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises is one of important sector in Indonesia that have to empowered, because it gave significant contribution in Indonesia’s economic matters.
