Abstract

This research describe the interest of Indonesia dealed about comprehensive economic partnership agreement with European Union in 2011-2016. European Union are one of most countries in the world that have big potency for investations and Indonesia have been export some product to European Union. In order that export product from Indonesia always get protctionism and restriction for European Union regulations.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the interest of Indonesia dealed about comprehensive economic partnership agreement with European Union. The theories applied in this research are liberalis with the foreign policy theory from KJ Holsti.The result shows that the interest of Indonesia dealed about comprehensive economic partnership agreement with European Union are becaused the protections and restriction regulation from Eurpoean Unions likes tariff and non tariff policy for product from Indonesia, standarization product from European Union and minims of infrastructure from Indonesias product.Key words: interest, protections, partnership and aggrement

Abstract

This research that the study of the international of economic political analyzes about the interest of canada to do trading free trade relationship with south korea. The purpose of this reasearch is to describe in general of the bilateral relations of canada and south korea in trading activities, explaining of the canada interests to do free trade agreement with south korea and also describe of cooperation does canada and south korea in the frame of the CKFTA's Agreement.This research used qualitative methods which is done by explanning the case based on existing facts. The techniques used to collects data to study the case to library research in the form of journals, books, an official document, articles, and websites. The theoretical framework applied in this research are liberalism perspective, international cooperation theory, and nation-state analysis. the international cooperation is a form of relations made by a country with another country, which has the purpose to sufficent the needs of life and the existence of a country in international social order, in addition to the creation of peace and prosperity of life that be desire of every human being and country in the world.The bilateral relations of Canada and South Korea have been well established for a long time, both in the political, economic and cultural fields. In addition, Canada and South Korea are both developed countries, located in different continents. Then, to further strengthen the relationship, these two countries to enter into free trade agreements contained within the framework of the CKFTA agreement. This CKFTA agreement framework represents the interests of both countries of economic, political and cultural. It's same with Canada who expects to benefit from the implementation of CKFTA agreement by through a reduction to eliminate tariffs policy and increase market access within the Asia Pacific region.Keyword: Interest, Free Trade Relations, CKFTA, International CooperationTheory, Liberalism, Political Economy Interest.

Abstract

This research describes about the foreign policy and decision making of a country that is identical with the consideration of national interests. By at the end of 2017 the US president made a policy against the UN Security Council resolution on the status of the Holy city of Jerusalem, the US determined Jerusalem to be the new capital of the state of Israel and moved the embassy there. Despite being opposed by the majority of UN member states, Guatemala became the first country to follow the US steps. The purpose of this research was to determine the motivation Guatemala move the embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2018. This research uses the perspective of realism, realism is a group that considers that the national interest is equated with an attempt to gain power that can be utilized to develop and maintain control of a country against another country to maintain the sovereignty of his country. This research uses foreign policy theory Richard Snyder's with the level of analysis of the nation state because in international relations it is nominated by the behavior of the nation-state. Based on this concept, national interests are considered as a means as well as a goal of a country to survive in the realm of international politics.The results of this research indicate that Guatemala's motivation to move the embassy to Israel to Jerusalem in 2018 was due to pressure from the legislative parliament, the background of decision maker President Jimmy Morales as an evangelical Christian, maintaining national interests against Israel by maintaining diplomatic relations with Israel as an ally with diplomatic relations which has been relatively good since 1948 and the United States is the largest provider of financial assistance to Guatemala every year and promotes Jewish lobbying organizations in the Central America region.Keywords: Policy, Foreign Policy, Embassy, Motivation, Jerusalem

Abstract

Sharks are apex predators (top predators) that are very influential as holders of food chain control in marine ecosystems. But now the shark population has begun to be threatened, the reason is that Overfishing is done. Because the demand for fin has a high price. In this paper theoretically arranged through a green thought perspective, the level of behavior-group analysis and international organization theory and guided by qualitative research methods. The scope of this research is how the efforts made by WWF in the soshark campaign in Indonesia. WWF (World Wildlife Fund For Nature) made various efforts to overcome the extinction of sharks from the threat of shark finning practices. Starting from a campaign called SOSHARKS (Save Our Sharks) in 2013-2015, collecting petitions, checking menus at hotels and restaurants in Indonesia and organizing sharks and rays symposiums with the Indonesian Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.Keywords: sharks, SOShark campaign, WWF efforts

Abstract

This study will illustrate the economic and political interests of Indonesia in the export cooperation of CPO (Crude Palm Oil) with the Netherlands, especially from the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of Joint Production on Sustainable Palm Oil on September 29, 2019 in New York, United States.The method used in this research is qualitative research. Some of the data obtained came from books, journals, articles, annual reports, the internet and other media. In this study also used the perspective of liberalism, international cooperation theory, and national interest concept.This research shows that Indonesia always faces an increase in CPO exports to the Netherlands every year. Indonesia inserted economic and political interests in this MoU. Bilateral cooperation undertaken by Indonesia is mutually beneficial cooperation and has quite promising potential in long-term cooperation due to the dependency of the needs between the State of Indonesia and the Netherlands.  Keywords: National Interests, CPO, Exports, MoU.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about Indonesia's interests in agreeing on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement ( CEPA ) with EFTA in 2017-2019. During the years 2017-2019 Indonesia and EFTA have Make a cooperation in various sector in the field of economics . The four EFTA countries are big market opportunities for Indonesia , but these are not yet at optimal conditions. So that through a cooperation agreement within the agreed CEPA framework is able to maximize the benefits to be obtained for both parties. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, with the level of analysis of the nation state, the theory used is the theory of international cooperation in the perspective of liberalism . The author collects data from books, journals, mass media, websites, official documents and MoU which is used to analyze matters of Indonesian interest in agreeing to an agreement with EFTA. Research is showing that during the years 2017-2019 Indonesia and also EFTA make a cooperation in various sector economy . Through this agreement that was agreed to provide a great opportunity for Indonesia to enter the market with low intensity to optimize the benefits to be obtained , as well as the opening of other doors of trade in Indonesian products to Europe through EFTA member countries. Abstract

This research analysest Japan’s interest to remove Myanmar foreign debtin 2012 to 2013. Japan has bilateral relationship with Myanmar before WorldWar II. Post independence from colonialism, Myanmar has a military government(military juntas) system. But, Japan continue to provide foreign aid to Myanmar.in 2003 Japan stopped its foreign aid to Myanmar because of Human RightsIssue. This research used relevant concept and theories such as national interestconcept, international cooporation theory, decision making theory, and foreig aidtheory. Abstract

The ASEAN ICT Masterplan 2015 (AIM 2015) has come a long way and completed by the end of 2015. Since its launch in 2011, the AIM 2015 has provided a framework and roadmap for the development of information and communication technology (ICT) at the regional level and, as a result, has enabled greater ICT development in ASEAN. Over the past five years, ICT in ASEAN has improved in many respects. At the macro level, exports of ICT services have become a larger component of total service exports, suggesting that ICT is today an important engine of economic growth in the region. At the individual level, costs of internet access and mobile subscription have fallen sharply in ASEAN Member States (AMS), allowing greater connectivity for millions of ASEAN citizens. The advancement of ICT in ASEAN is also evident in other aspects; these include the rise in employment in the ICT sector, the transformation of government services into digital ones, and the increased awareness of cyber security, to name a few. Although many factors also played a contributing role in such developments, the AIM 2015 has been a vital instrument in bringing about efforts and endeavours of the AMS. The AIM 2015 supported the vision of AMS by bringing about many of the actions that account significantly for the region’s advancement. Without a doubt, the progress in the fields of ICT would not have come this far without the AIM 2015. Abstract

This research describes roles of ASEAN in resolution conflict of South China Sea in 2010-2015. South China Sea are one of High Seas in International seas that have a 3,5 million mil. South China Sea has a big potency in a mineral resources and as a international matirim ways. Since 1974 Tiongkok has claim South China Sea as a their territory and it’s make a complain from the ASEAN member state especially Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darusalam, Vietnam and Filiphina.The writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the roles of ASEAN in resolution conflict of South China Sea. The theories applied in this research are pliralism perspective with the international organization theory by Clive Archer.The result of this research shows that the roles of ASEAN in resolution conflict of South China Sea are used by diplomacy ways approach and instrument of international law. Some effort of ASEAN are in 2011 ASEAN has implemented code of Conduct dan Declaration on the Conduct (DOC) of Parties in the South Tiongkok Sea, ASEAN member has optimaled ASEAN Regional Forum ways and ASEAN Political Security Community in resolution conflict of South China Sea and ASEAN members held a ministrial meeting to create a peacefull in South Cina Seas territory.Key words: roles, ASEAN, conflic, South China Sea.
