Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the improvement of information technology literacy among visually impaired individuals through the implementation of digital content at PPSDSN Pendowo Kudus. The research employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest and posttest pre-experimental design, supported by qualitative data. The participants consisted of 10 visually impaired individuals selected through total sampling. The intervention included theoretical instruction on content creation and guided practical sessions in digital content production using audio equipment and digital applications. Data were collected through an information technology literacy questionnaire administered before and after the intervention, as well as semi-structured interviews to obtain supporting qualitative insights. Descriptive analysis showed an increase in the average literacy score from 2.6 to 4.05. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test indicated that the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.05). Qualitative findings revealed that the improvement occurred not only in technical skills but also in procedural understanding and confidence in using digital technologies. The findings suggest that digital content implementation designed with attention to accessibility and user experience can serve as an effective strategy to enhance information technology literacy among visually impaired individuals.

Abstract

The ability to write short stories is an important skill that needs to be developed in students. However, many students experience difficulties in generating ideas and developing narrative elements in their writing. One of the learning media that can help stimulate students’ imagination is illustrated images. This study aims to analyze the intrinsic elements of students’ short stories written based on illustrated images. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources were several short stories written by students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Mejobo which were produced after the use of illustrated images in the learning process. Data were collected through documentation of students’ written works and analyzed by examining the intrinsic elements of the short stories, including theme, plot, character, setting, and language use. The results of the study show that illustrated images can help students develop story ideas more easily and direct the development of narrative elements in their writing. The short stories produced by students generally demonstrate clearer themes, more structured plot development, more detailed character descriptions, and richer settings. In addition, the use of illustrated images encourages students to express emotions and conflicts in a more creative way. Therefore, illustrated images can be used as an effective medium to stimulate students’ imagination and support the development of intrinsic elements in short story writing.

Abstract

This study analyzes humor techniques as an instrument of social criticism in the Lapor Pak! Trans7 through the lens of Arthur Asa Berger's theory. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, primary data was sourced from the speech in the episode "Troops Entrusted with 2 Trillion Corruption Proceeds" which was collected through the observation and recording technique, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed the use of humor techniques that varied in the categories of language (irony, sarcasm, insults, puns), logic (comparison, absurdity, analogy, reversal, rigidity), and identity (identity, disclosure). The findings reflect five key themes of social criticism: bureaucratic hypocrisy, normalization of corruption, economic inequality, low administrative transparency, and closed official communication. It was concluded that the humor in the show is not just entertainment, but an effective satirical instrument that deconstructs sensitive sociopolitical issues in order to arouse the audience's critical awareness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penguatan jiwa entrepreneurship dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan melalui kreativitas dan penjualan alat musik gamelan di Desa Ngablak, Pati. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, penelitian berfokus pada pengrajin gamelan sebagai unit analisis untuk memahami integrasi nilai-nilai kewirausahaan dengan pelestarian budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para pengrajin gamelan telah mengimplementasikan pendekatan kreatif dalam pembuatan dan pemasaran gamelan yang tidak hanya berorientasi ekonomi tetapi juga mempertahankan nilai budaya. Melalui sistem magang, workshop, dan kunjungan industri, mereka berhasil mentransfer pengetahuan tradisional sekaligus menanamkan jiwa kewirausahaan pada generasi muda. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan berupa kesulitan regenerasi, persaingan dengan produk modern, dan keterbatasan modal, terdapat peluang dari tren apresiasi produk lokal, perkembangan teknologi digital, kebijakan pemerintah pendukung ekonomi kreatif, dan kolaborasi dengan institusi pendidikan. Model pembelajaran kontekstual yang menggabungkan entrepreneurship, pendidikan kewarganegaraan, dan pelestarian budaya ini berpotensi menjadi prototipe pengembangan kurikulum yang memperkuat identitas kultural sekaligus membangun kompetensi ekonomi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat kontemporer.
