Abstract

This research aims to determine the waste management process and the impact of managing the Berkah Waste Bank in the villages of Sucenjurutengah, Bayan, Purworejo. This research uses a descriptive research model through a qualitative approach. Data collection methods use interviews, observation, video and documentation. Data analysis using this method aims to determine the waste management process and the impact of waste bank management. The Berkah Waste Bank has been running well, namely by using sorting, weighing and depositing methods. As well as Waste Bank administrators who have worked in their respective fields. The impact caused by the management of the Berkah Waste Bank on the environmental aspect is very good because it makes the environment cleaner and waste does not accumulate, on the social aspect the existence of the Waste Bank increases community familiarity, on the economic aspect it is enough to provide additional income for its customers. So, the Waste Bank is the best way to manage waste.

Abstract

. A waste bank is a place for processing waste using a banking mechanism. Waste management at TPST 3R Tri Guyup Rukun Trirejo village has implemented the 3R principle (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) in managing waste at the community level. The aim of this research is to determine the mechanism of waste processing and the role of waste banks in dealing with waste problems that occur in society. The data collection technique in this research uses qualitative methods. The results of observations and interviews show that TPST 3R Tri Guyup Rukun, Trirejo village, is a waste bank that processes organic and non-organic waste originating from the community's sorted waste. With the existence of 3R Tri Guyup Rukun TPST, the community can experience significant benefits for their daily lives, one of which is earning income. So it can be concluded that banks have an important role in managing community waste.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of reading corners on the literacy skills of elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative research method Pre-Experimental Design with the type of One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. The subjects of this study were all fifth grade students of Bajangrejo State Elementary School, totaling 12 students. The data collection technique was in the form of a test. The sample used was the total sample. The data analysis used was in the form of descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests and parametric statistical hypothesis tests. in paired form sample t- test using SPSS 26. The results of this study obtained an average pretest value of 43.33 and a posttest of 71.25. Based on the results of the hypothesis test using Paired Sample T- Test obtained information that the calculated t value obtained -5.786 > t table 2.20099 and the significance value in the Sig column. (2-tailed) 0.000 which means 0.000 < 0.05, then it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This study shows that the use of reading corners has a positive and significant influence on the literacy skills in Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi suhu dan kalor kelas V SD Negeri Ketangi melalui model pembelajaran VAK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 20 siswa tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, hasil tes siswa untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada indikator keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran VAK dari siklus I nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa yaitu 42% dengan persentase 35% yang berada pada kategori (sangat kurang), kemudian meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 85% dengan persentase 85% yang berada pada kategori (sangat baik). Demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran VAK pada siklus II telah berhasil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA siswa melalui keberhasilan telah mencapai angka diatas 68%. Hasil tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa menggunakan model pembelajaran VAK dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri Ketangi.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru kelas V di SD Gugus Nyi Ageng Serang dan hasil perolehan PISA pada tahun 2019 menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan problem solving peserta didik masih rendah. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dibuatnya soal untuk menganalisis kemampuan problem solving peserta didik melalui penilaian IPA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan problem solving peserta didik di SD gugus Nyi Ageng Serang baik itu perempuan maupun laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil analisis kemampuan problem solving peserta didik melalui penilaian IPA materi suhu dan kalor kelas V SD Gugus Nyi Ageng Serang memperoleh nilai rerata yaitu 81,89% dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil analisis perbedaan kemampuan problem solving peserta didik laki-laki dan perempuan di SDN Jatimalang dan SDN Maduretno yaitu terdapat perbedaan nyata antara peserta didik laki-laki dan perempuan karena nilai signifikan <5%. Sedangkan di SDN Jatinegoro, SDN Geparang, SDN Nampurejo tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata antara peserta didik laki-laki dengan perempuan karena nilai signifikan >5%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Magnets as one of the materials in science subjects are often considered as difficult material for students to understand. This research is descriptive qualitative research that aims to analyze the misconceptions of grade V students on magnetic material using the Certainty of Response Index (CRI). In addition, this study analyzes the causes and solutions to overcome misconceptions that occur in magnetic materials at SD Muhammadiyah in Purworejo Regency. The sample of this study was fifth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Bayan, SD Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo, SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi, and SD Muhammadiyah Purworejo. The data collection techniques were observation, student interviews, and diagnostic tests equipped with a CRI scale. Data analysis was carried out by analyzing the results of observations, interviews, and student answers in working on diagnostic tests accompanied by a CRI scale. Based on the analysis results, misconceptions with a high percentage level were found in the indicators of the application of magnets, how to make magnets and magnetic fields. Factors causing misconceptions include students' lack of understanding, learning books, and lack of experiments. These findings emphasize the importance of using experiment-based learning methods and relevant media to reduce misconceptions. ABSTRAK Magnet sebagai salah satu materi pada mata pelajaran IPA seringkali dianggap sebagai materi yang sulit dipahami siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitataif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis miskonsepsi siswa kelas V pada materi magnet menggunakan Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Selain itu, penelitian ini menganalisis penyebab dan solusi untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada materi magnet di SD Muhammadiyah Se-Kabupaten Purworejo. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V pada SD Muhammadiyah Bayan, SD Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo, SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi, dan SD Muhammadiyah Purworejo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara siswa, dan tes diagnostik yang dilengkapi dengan skala CRI. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menganalisis hasil observasi, wawancara, dan jawaban siswa dalam mengerjakan tes diagnostik disertai skala CRI. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terjadi miskonsepsi dengan tingkat persentase tinggi ditemukan pada indikator penerapan magnet, cara membuat magnet, dan medan magnet. Faktor penyebab miskonsepsi meliputi pemahaman siswa yang kurang, buku pembelajaran, dan minimnya percobaan. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya penggunaan metode pembelajaran berbasis eksperimen dan media yang relevan untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa berdasarkan teori Polya dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah sangat penting dimiliki oleh siswa agar siswa terbiasa berfikir tingkat tinggi. Polya mengkategorikan indikator langkah pemecahan masalah menjadi empat yaitu : 1) memahami masalah, 2) menyusun rencana, 3) melaksanakan rencana, 4) memeriksa kembali. Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa yang berprestasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah menunjukan bahwa siswa sudah berkemampuan dalam melaksanakan indikator langkah pemecahan masalah berdasarkan teori Polya yang terdiri dari : 1) siswa mampu memahami masalah, 2) siswa mampu menyusun rencana, 3) siswa mampu melaksanakan rencana, dan 4) siswa mampu memeriksa kembali. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah yaitu pengalaman awal siswa, dorongan atau motivasi, lupa materi, ketidaktelitian siswa, dan keterampilan siswa.

Abstract

Many students and teachers do not know the difficulties of learning Mathematics and its factors in the story of addition and subtraction of fractions. The purpose of the study is to find out the learning difficulties and the factors that cause learning difficulties in Mathematics for the story of addition and subtraction of class V fractions. The data source was selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques use tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique is based on the Miles and Huberman Model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. Data validity using triangulation techniques. The results of the research were difficulties in learning mathematics such as difficulties in concepts, applying principles, working on verbal problems, and reading. The influencing factors are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors consist of physiological factors such as poor physical health conditions of students and psychological factors, namely low intelligence levels, low concentration levels, poor attitudes and behaviors, lack of motivation, and lack of social interaction. Meanwhile, external factors consist of family factors, such as low parental education, lack of parental attention, and parental work. School factors, such as less varied teaching methods, not using learning media, and poor attitudes and behaviors of friends. Environmental factors around the place of residence, such as people who are indifferent to education, friends who are not peers, and jobs in the surrounding area.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Determine the influence of the PjBL learning model on student learning outcomes, 2) Determine the influence of learning interest on student learning outcomes, 3) Determine the influence of the PjBL learning model and learning interest on student learning outcomes. The research method used is Quasi Experimental with a Nonequvalent Control Group Design research design, and uses an experimental class and a control class. This research uses questionnaires and tests as the main tools for collecting data. Determining the number of samples in this research uses a sampling technique, namely census or total sampling, where the entire population is used as the research sample. The data processing techniques used are validity testing, homogeneity testing, difficulty testing, prerequisite testing, and hypothesis testing. The results of the research show that there is an influence between the PjBL learning model on learning outcomes, there is an influence between interest in learning on learning outcomes, and there is an influence between the PjBL learning model and interest in learning on student learning outcomes in the Story About My Region material. This is shown by a significance value below 0.05, so there is a positive relationship between these variables.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of monopoly learning media in the subject of science, the material of parts of the earth for grade V at SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi and to determine the feasibility of the product developed. This study uses a research and development method (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi with the research subjects of grade V Al-Mu'min students of SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi in the 2024/2025 academic year totaling 26 students. Data collection techniques or instruments used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The test instrument consisted of a pretest and posttest which were used to determine the effectiveness of the product. The data analysis used was feasibility analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. The results of this study are: 1) Producing a product in the form of Monopoly Learning Media in the Subject of Science, the Material of Parts of the Earth for Grade V at SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi; 2) Product feasibility includes validity, practicality and effectiveness, namely: a) Product validity obtained an average percentage of 92.5% with the criteria of "very feasible". Product practicality obtained an average percentage of 85.96% with the criteria of "very practical". Effectiveness obtained an average percentage of 73.15% with the criteria of "effective".
