Abstract

The problem is that students' understanding of the importance of entrepreneurial competencies in today's workplace is unequal. Many students still view entrepreneurship as a last resort, rather than a primary career path. The method employed emphasizes the integration of theory-based entrepreneurship training with hands-on practice through the utilization of the Campus Business Incubator. The results of this training activity indicate that, through the active use of the Campus Business Incubator, students gain not only knowledge but also real-world experience and mentoring relevant to current market needs. The success of this activity provides an important foundation for the Faculty of Entrepreneurship at Garut University to continue and develop similar programs on an ongoing basis. Incubation-based entrepreneurship training is highly effective in preparing students to become innovative and independent young entrepreneurs.

Abstract

A lack of understanding and skills in proper financial record-keeping makes it difficult for business owners to manage cash flow, determine the cost of goods manufactured, measure business profitability, and access capital from financial institutions. This training method utilizes accounting management training in an entrepreneurial context, which can be delivered through a multifaceted approach, combining formal learning and hands-on practice in the field. This training utilizes a participatory approach, technical guidance, and the use of digital tools. The results of this community service activity identified that a comprehensive and practical accounting management training program is a strategic step to improve the ability of MSMEs to adapt and compete in an increasingly complex market. Accounting management training aims not only to provide technical knowledge but also to strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs as part of the broader economic system.

Abstract

Reliance on traditional practices and a lack of access to entrepreneurship training further exacerbate these conditions. The lack of financial literacy among tobacco entrepreneurs makes it difficult for them to maintain financial records, manage capital, plan long-term finances, and make strategic business decisions. This dependence on traditional practices and a lack of access to entrepreneurship training further exacerbate these conditions. The activity was implemented through a participatory and applied approach, with the aim of increasing the capacity of tobacco entrepreneurs in financial management and entrepreneurship literacy. The implementation method was divided into three main stages: preparation, training, and evaluation and follow-up mentoring. The results of this community service activity can improve the managerial capacity of tobacco entrepreneurs in Garut Regency, support their business growth, and contribute positively to the local economy. Through this activity, it is hoped that entrepreneurs will not only understand financial literacy but also be able to make strategic business decisions for future business sustainability. Therefore, training on the elements of financial literacy will help participants understand the importance of financial planning, cash management, and financial reporting.

Abstract

Effective performance management and recruitment training are urgently needed for MSMEs. Effective human resource management is crucial for building a strong work team and supporting business sustainability. The integration of performance management and recruitment training is rarely examined as a single program. The training is implemented through interactive lectures, case studies, discussions, simulations, and evaluations. This training employs a participatory and applied approach, prioritizing the active involvement of MSME participants throughout the entire process. The results of the performance management training demonstrate that MSMEs need to develop the skills to develop key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly monitor and evaluate employee performance, and provide constructive feedback. The recruitment process is also a weak point for many MSMEs. Therefore, a sustainable strategy for strengthening MSME human resource capacity, oriented toward increasing productivity, operational efficiency, and business competitiveness amidst increasingly competitive economic challenges, is essential.
