Abstract

Reading habits are an important key in self-development and the formation of broad insight, to support children's interest in reading, good facilities and infrastructure are needed, including providing learning media, providing reading parks that function as mini libraries that provide access to various reading sources for the community. The importance of reading parks and learning media lies in their role in increasing interest in reading and literacy among the community. The Kromong Village reading park which is a partner in this activity is a reading place provided by the village which used to be a knowledge and literacy center infrastructure for its residents and was also used in TPQ activities in the afternoon in the Ngusikan sub-district area. Unfortunately, as time goes by , the reading garden is no longer used. Therefore, the aim of holding activities to revitalize this reading park and providing learning media is to increase children's interest in reading in Kromong Village. Method The approach taken for community service in Kromong village is by using the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. One of them is by applying practical methods, educator training and local community approaches so that indirectly children and the community in Kromong village can use it effectively. Facilities in the reading park. The results of the learning media that we have created. Children look more enthusiastic in accessing and using the learning media. Revitalization activities for neglected reading parks mean that reading parks can be reused by the community, especially children, as village libraries that provide more complete facilities.

Abstract

Currently, not many MSMEs are using this sophisticated digital platform, due to a lack of understanding about digital marketing which can boost people's economies. Based on the results of a pre-survey with several UMKM players, especially the food sector, that they do not yet have halal product certification, because: (1) They do not understand the importance of digital marketing and its impact on UMKM to improve the welfare of the Randuwatang community. (2) UMKM players do not yet know how to apply online platforms to produce interesting content to attract the target market. (3) UMKM players are still seasonal in opening businesses because other sources of livelihood are more dominant, such as drivers, craftsmen, etc., than UMKM. Based on the problems faced by partners, community service activities in the LPPM scheme are carried out through digital marketing seminars on UMKM products to improve the welfare of the Randuwatang village community. The method used in this digital marketing seminar is providing material regarding the importance of digital marketing for UMKM in the current millennial era. The method used is an interactive discussion in the form of questions and answers by participants who do not understand and answered directly by the resource person. From the implementation of socialization activities, it was concluded that digital marketing had proven to be an effective tool for improving the welfare of the community in Randuwatang Village.

Abstract

A phenomenon that has emerged in society today is that people think they don't need to know how to care for a corpse from start to finish because they already have their own staff. This is a weakness if one day a death occurs at the same time, then the disposal of the body will be delayed due to the lack of a search team. Based on this, the team carried out corpse handling training activities as a form of cadre formation and increasing knowledge and skills in fulfilling religious obligations. The targets of the training were members of PKK (family empowerment community) in Kudubanjar Village. The training consists of providing material and practice for one day. The practices carried out include the process of washing the body, shrouding the body, and intersecting the body. Through this training, PKK women who have never known the procedures for exhuming corpses will understand and be able to practice.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Giri di Desa Ngampel, Kecamatan Ngusikan, Kabupaten Jombang, menghadapi masalah rendahnya minat siswa terhadap aktivitas membaca dan menulis. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya upaya terpadu untuk meningkatkan literasi sebagai fondasi pendidikan berkualitas. Fokus pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah membangun sinergi antara guru dan orang tua untuk mengatasi tantangan literasi di sekolah tersebut. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan berpikir kritis siswa guna mencapai pendidikan yang bermakna dan berkualitas tinggi. Pendekatan yang diterapkan meliputi pelatihan literasi bagi guru dan orang tua, pembentukan forum komunikasi rutin, serta penyediaan kegiatan membaca dan menulis yang menarik bagi siswa. Strategi ini dirancang untuk menciptakan kerja sama yang kuat, dukungan berkelanjutan, dan pemahaman bersama tentang kebutuhan belajar siswa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan minat siswa terhadap literasi, terlihat dari keterlibatan mereka dalam aktivitas membaca dan kemampuan menulis yang lebih kreatif. Sinergi antara guru dan orang tua juga memperkuat ekosistem pendidikan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Giri, sehingga mendukung proses pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan dan berkualitas. Upaya ini berkontribusi pada pembentukan generasi muda yang memiliki keterampilan literasi unggul untuk masa depan

Abstract

Education is the foundation that connects knowledge about nutrition and parenting with concrete actions in everyday life. With quality education, we can create a healthy, intelligent generation that is better able to face future challenges. Based on the results of observations in the Nglele village community, especially with one of the integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres in Nglele Village, there is a problem of stunting in Nglele Village, due to several factors, one of which is the lack of insight into the importance of maintaining a balanced diet for the baby. The purpose of this socialization of the importance of balanced nutrition and parenting is to improve the quality of nutrition towards a superior generation in Nglele Village. The methods used in this service are socialization and mentoring methods. Based on the results and discussions of the implementation of community service activities with the socialization of "The Importance of Balanced Nutrition and Parenting as an Effort to Prevent Stunting" in Nglele Village, Sumobito, Jombang, it was concluded that the socialization activity successfully increased community knowledge about the importance of balanced nutrition and the dangers of stunting. Most participants showed high enthusiasm and a good understanding of the material presented. There are indications of behavioral changes in eating patterns and family parenting patterns.
