Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis terhadap pembelajaran model PBL berbantuan Mind Mapping. Penelitian ini yaitu quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group. Penelitian dilakukan di UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Bangkalan kelas VII tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Populasi adalah siswa kelas VII UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Bangkalan. Pengambilan sampel 25 siswa kelas VIIA dan 25 siswa kelas VIIB menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis diperoleh hasil pengujian hipotesis (independent sample t test) dengan nilai sig 0,000,05 sehingga terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan Mind Mapping dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Mind Mapping, Model PBL.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce an ethnoscience-based booklet on jenang ayas snacks and to determine the validity, readability, student responses and improvement of science literacy towards ethnoscience-based booklets. This type of Research n Development (RnD) research, using the ADDIE model. Sampling using a side purposive teahnique. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP 31 Gresik with a sample of class VIII-C. The instrument used were validation sheets media, material experts, readability questionnaires, responses, and science literacy questions. The result of the study showed that the ethnoscience-based booklet on jenang ayas snacks that was developed was included in the very valid category for use, seen from the results of media expert validation of 94,03%, material expert validation of 96,53%, readability questionnaire of 88,92%, student response questionnaire of 88,45%, and an increase in science literacy on N-Gain of 0,69. These result indicate that ethnoscience-based booklets on jenang ayas snacks is effective in improving student’s science literasy.

Abstract

This study was conducted because students' HOTS is still relatively low because students are still unable to follow the HOTS learning pattern. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' HOTS after the application of the PBL model assisted by KOKAMI media on the Earth and Solar System material. This study used a quasi-experimental design method and was carried out at SMPN 1 Pasean. The study population was all grade VII students in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique. The sample used was class VII-A. The analysis technique for increasing students' HOTS used the N-gain test. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in students' HOTS after the application of the PBL model assisted by KOKAMI with an average n-gain result of 0.71 in the high category.

Abstract

This study was conducted because of the low mastery of student concepts caused by the lack of variation in learning models and media. This study aims to determine the increase in student concept mastery after the TGT model assisted by snakes and ladders media is applied. This study is a quantitative study using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study was conducted at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Bangkalan with a sample of class VII D. The research data collection technique used a concept mastery test. The data analysis technique used was the N-Gain test. The results of the study that can be concluded are that there is an increase in student concept mastery as evidenced by the average N-Gain score of 0.47 which is categorized as moderate.

Abstract

E-Booklet based on science literacy accompanied by mind mapping is a form of the diversity of learning products that can be aligned with the development of technology and information. The purpose of this study aimed to determine the feasibility, response, and readability of a science literacy-based e-booklet accompanied by mind mapping on human digestive system material. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE model without the implementation phase. The research subjects included 31 students of class VIII-A and 13 students of class VIII-B. Based on the research that has been done, the average results of the media aspect feasibility test assessment were validity of 1 with a valid category, 92.2% reliability with a very reliable category, and a material aspect validity of 0.99 with a valid category, 100% reliability with a very reliable category. The results of the assessment of student responses and readability of the e-booklet obtained a very good category. It concluded that the use of science literacy-based e-booklets accompanied by mind mapping on human digestive system material is feasible to use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the ethnoscience found in the Madura Keris which can be used as a source of learning natural sciences for junior high schools. The time of research was in July-September at the Aeng Tong Tong village, Sumenep. Methods of data collection using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. There is data triangulation using the triangulation method by matching the interview results with the observation sheet. The results of the data findings were then verified by the SMP science teacher. The research results show that: 1) the results of the ethnoscience study can be seen in the tools and materials used, the manufacturing process, community techniques in caring for and conserving Madurese keris in the local community; 2) the results of the ethnoscience study are connected and closely related to the science concept material for grade 7 & grade 8 independent curriculum, namely elements, compounds, mixtures of materials, temperature, heat and changes in form. These results show that the Madurese keris can be used as a source of science learning for junior high schools.

Abstract

E-magazine literasi sains konteks mangrove Sepulu merupakan salah satu inovasi media pembelajaran berbasis elektronik yang menunjang pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research n Development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) dan dilakukan di SMPN 3 Kamal. Batasan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahapan penlitian hanya sampai pada tahap Development. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, keterbacaan dan respons siswa pada uji coba terbatas. Hasil validasi ahli media e-magazine adalah 83,33% dengan kategori sangat valid dan validasi ahli materi sebesar 94,44% dengan kategori sangat valid, keterbacaan e-magazine literasi sains konteks mangrove Sepulu mendapat persentase 86,69% kategori sangat baik, dan respons siswa terhadap e-magazine literasi sains konteks mangrove Sepulu mendapat persentase sebesar 85,16% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut e-magazine literasi sains konteks mangrove Sepulu dinilai sangat valid, dapat dibaca dengan sangat baik, dan mendapat respons siswa yang sangat baik dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan literasi sains siswa setelah menggunakan e-module berbasis etnosains Karapan Sapi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTsN Bangkalan pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dengan subjek 29 siswa kelas VII B. Desain penelitian adalah one group pretest-posttest research design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah soal tes literasi sains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan literasi sains dengan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,7 dalam kategori tinggi. Peningkatan literasi sains menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 19 siswa dalam kategori tinggi dan 10 siswa dalam kategori sedang. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan literasi sains siswa setelah menggunakan e-module berbasis etnosains Karapan Sapi pada pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Pengukuran kemampuan literasi sains perlu untuk dilakukan berkala dan mandiri dengan bentuk tes sederhana yang berbasis wisata sebagai sarana latihan yang dapat dijadikan bahan evaluasi terstruktur untuk mengetahui profil literasi sains. Kurangnya penelitian yang mendeskripsikan profil literasi sains aspek kompetensi pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup yang diukur menggunakan instrumen tes uraian yang berbasis Wisata Sumenep. Maka dari itu, perlu dilakukannya penelitian yang mendsekripsikan profil literasi sains yang berbasis wisata Sumenep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil literasi sains siswa SMP kelas VII pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup berbasis Wisata Sumenep di salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Bangkalan, Madura, Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Aspek literasi sains yang diteliti pada penelitian kali ini fokus pada aspek kompetensi yang meliputi menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah, menafsirkan data dan bukti secara ilmiah, serta merancang dan mengevaluasi penyelidikan ilmiah. Konten dari Wisata Sumenep yang digunakan pada terdiri dari empat lokasi yaitu, Pantai Lombang, Pantai Slopeng, Goa Seokarno, dan Keraton Sumenep. Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 32 siswa di salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Bangkalan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan tes literasi sains yang terintegrasi dengan wisata lokal Sumenep. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu diperoleh hasil penelitian profil kemampuan literasi sains sebesar 98.44% (sangat baik). Aspek paling rendah diperoleh pada aspek menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah, sedangkan aspek paling tinggi diperoleh pada aspek merancang dan mengevaluasi penyelidikan ilmiah. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dan edukasi terkait pembelajaran sains serta sebagai upaya pelestarian kearifan lokal Pulau Madura sebagai wisata edukatif yang terintegrasi dengan sains.
