Abstract

Lunturnya karakter konservasi cagar budaya Indonesia dikarenakan kurangnya perhatian terhadap lingkungan sosial budaya untuk dikaji secara saintifik. Selain itu, berbagai macam kearifan lokal masih minim diintegrasikan ke dalam suatu pembelajaran IPA sebagai media pembelajaran maupun sumber belajar untuk mengembangkan karakter konservasi cagar budaya. Salah satu kearifan lokal Indonesia yang terkenal memiliki ciri khas, ritual, dan tujuan penggunaan adalah keris Madura. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan karakter konservasi cagar budaya melalui studi etnosains keris Madura dalam pembelajaran IPA. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengambilan data melalui observasi langsung, kuesioner, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keris Madura dapat dikaji secara saintifik dalam etnosains menggunakan pendekatan STEAM; (2) terdapat keterhubungan hasil studi etnosains keris Madura dengan konsep materi IPA tertentu; (3) perlunya kebutuhan akan keterampilan pendidik dalam merancang program pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan kearifan lokal daerah masing-masing; (4) penekanan karakter konservasi cagar budaya tidak hanya pada konten dan konteks sesuai indikator, tetapi juga proses pengembangannya; (5) adanya peran kontribusi pengembangan karakter konservasi cagar budaya dari hasil studi etnosains keris Madura dalam mencapai SDGs. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan karakter konservasi cagar budaya perlu dilakukan dengan menitikberatkan pada pengintegrasian positif kearifan lokal ke dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui kajian etnosains. Implikasi hasil studi menandakan keberlanjutan warisan sosial dan budaya tergantung pada pengembangan karakter konservasi cagar budaya masyarakat. Studi ini merekomendasikan integrasi dan promosi konservasi cagar budaya ke dalam pembangunan keberlanjutan sebagai cara mencapai keberlanjutan ekonomi dan sosial.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine whether the Think Talk Write model increased students' critical thinking skills regarding the earth and solar system. A quasi-experimental research design was used, specifically Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study was conducted at Al-Kholiliyah Bangkalan Middle School during the 2023/2024 academic year, involving all class VII students. The VII-A cohort served as the experimental class, where the Think Talk Write model was implemented, while the VII-B cohort served as the control class, where direct instructional method was used. Purposive sampling was employed to select the sample groups. The N-Gain Score test was utilised to analyze the improvement in critical thinking skills. The results show a significant increase in critical thinking skills among students in the experimental class, with 100% achieving an improvement categorized as medium. In contrast, the control class showed only 7.14% improvement in medium category, with 85.71% of students falling into the low improvement category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan respon siswa terhadap e-booklet tema musik ul-daul Madura. Materi yang digunakan pada media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah materi getaran dan gelombang kelas VIII SMPN/MTsN. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian RnD dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, design, development, implement, evaluation. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII B mengunakan teknik sampling pretest dan posstest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Hasil rata-rata validasi ahli media memperoleh nilai sebesar 80% dengan kriteria sangat valid, sedangkan rata-rata ahli materi memperoleh nilai sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangat valid (2) Hasil rata-rata N-Gain kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 0,7 dengan kriteria tinggi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran e-booklet tema musik ul-daul Madura layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa. (3) Hasil rata-rata penilaian respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran e-booklet tema musik sebesar 81% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media e-booklet tema Musik ul-daul Madura dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (RnD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa terhadap media pembelajaran e-module berbasis kontekstual pada materi ekologi untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kreatif menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Sampel penelitian ialah sampling jenuh dan menggunakan desain penelitian One shot. Instrumen uji coba meliputi validasi media, materi, tes berpikir kreatif, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) e-module berbasis kontekstual telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan kelayakan dengan kategori sangat tinggi, 2) nilai rata-rata hasil kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebesar 55,79 dengan kategori cukup kreatif. Oleh karena itu, media pembelajaran e-module berbasis kontekstual layak digunakan dalam kegiatam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the e-Magazine learning media with the theme of herbal medicine products on elemental, compound and mixed materials. The development model uses the ADDIE model. From the results of data acquisition, calculation and analysis, for media validity get an average score of 1.00 with very high criteria and for the validity of the material get an average score of 1.00 with very high criteria. The results of the study show that the e-Magazine learning media with the theme of jamu naturna products has met the eligibility criteria with a very high category. Based on the results, it shows that the e-Magazine media developed is said to be suitable for use as a learning medium in schools

Abstract

Flipbook merupakan buku elektronik yang berisikan cover. capaian dan tujuan pembelajaran. indikator literasi sains. materi pembelajaran. game. dan kuis yang didesain semenarik mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan  media, dan respons peserta didik. Materi yang digunakan pada media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah keanekaragaman hayati kelas VII SMP/MTS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian RnD  dengan model pembelajaran ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMPN 1 Tanjung Bumi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-A yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan angket respons peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Rata-rata validasi ahli materi 96.40% dengan kategori sangat valid dan validasi ahli media 90.20% dikategorikan sangat valid. (2) Rata-rata respons peserta didik sebesar 89.89%. Hal ini menunjukkan media flipbook layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The low students’ concept mastery in science learning is partly caused by learning media that is less varied and interesting. The learning media used in science learning is only in the form of textbooks, so they cannot visualize difficult and abstract material. This study aims to determine the enhancement of students’ concept mastery through science learning using android-based interactive multimedia. This study is included in a quantitative descriptive by using a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was 28 students of seventh grade of junior high school at one of schools in Kamal-Bangkalan in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instrument used in this study is a concept mastery test. The data is analysed using the N-Gain technique. Findings indicated that there is enhancement in the students’ concept mastery through science learning using android-based interactive multimedia which reached on 0.40 with moderate criteria. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the science learning with android-based interactive multimedia is able to enhance students' concept mastery on the topic of Indonesia ecology and biodiversity.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model in reducing student misconceptions about the material of elements, compounds, and mixtures. The research used a descriptive quantitative method using a pre-experimental research design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample is class VIII-D SMP Negeri 2 Saronggi, with purposive sampling as the sampling technique. The student's misconception was identified using a three-tier diagnostic test. Data collection techniques using tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that (1) The effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model reduces student misconceptions about the material of elements, compounds, and mixtures by testing the hypothesis obtained Asymp. Sig < 0,05 (0,00 < 0,05), (2) the guided inquiry learning model can reduce student misconception from an average of 51,92 to 18,46, (3) the implementation of learning of the guided inquiry learning model obtained a percentage of 93% with a perfect category, (4) student responses to guided inquiry learning model is very good with a percentage 80%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' conceptual understanding of ecology and Indonesia’s biodiversity materials from the perspective of students' self-concepts. The type of research used was quantitative descriptive. The study was carried out at SMPN 4 Bangkalan in the even semester of the 2023/2024 school year involving 50 research subjects of grade VII students. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests. The research findings indicate that: 1) The students' self-concept regarding science material shows that 10% of students were included in the high category, 28% in the moderate category, and 62% in the low category; 2) In the high self-concept group, the average concept understanding score was 69.64% with a good criterion, in the moderate self-concept group, the average concept understanding score was 49.23% with a sufficient criterion, and in the low self-concept group, the average concept understanding score was 23.92% with a poor criterion. Students with a high self-concept tend to have a good understanding of concepts related to ecology and biodiversity in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the Ethnoscience-Based Science Module for Making Smoked Fish, the readability of the Ethnoscience-Based Science Module for Making Smoked Fish, and students' responses to the Ethnoscience-Based Science Module for Making Smoked Fish. The development model used is the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study were grade VII students of SMP Negeri 15 Surabaya. The results of this study indicate that 1) the developed Science Module was declared "feasible" with the results of the material and media validity of 1.0 with the category of "high validity"; 2) the Science Module has a media readability level of 91.7% with the category of "high"; and 3) the Science Module has a student response level of 92% with the category of "very good". Therefore, learning media in the form of an ethnoscience-based Module can be used in learning activities.
