Abstract

ABSTRACT Water henna flower (Impatiens balsamina L.) is a plant that is very easy to grow in the yard of the house. This plant is found in the northern hemisphere, India and mainland Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. The use of rice husk mulch is one of the most beneficial agricultural wastes. However, farmers often think that the husks are agricultural waste that can only be used as fertilizer, ash, or animal feed in addition to suppressing weed growth. The research objectives were : (1) To determine the effect of different weights of rice husk mulch on the growth and yield of water henna plants, (2) To determine the best weight of mulch on the growth and yield of water henna plants. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 6 treatments which were repeated 4 times. The data were analyzed by ANOVA or analysis of variance and if they were significantly different, the BNT test was continued with 5%. The use of rice husk mulch gave a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, total fresh weight of pane flowers, total oven dry weight of harvested flowers, total plant fresh weight, total oven dry weight of plants, and number of weeds. Rice husk mulch weight of 750 g (S5) gave the best results on total fresh weight of harvested flowers 121.55 g, total oven dry weight of harvested flowers 4.27 g total plant fresh weight of 1272.25 g, total oven dry weight of 3.75 g

Abstract

Quality control is needed by the company to improve the quality of the products produced so that they are by the company's standards and by consumer desires. Maintaining the quality of the products made is also necessary to reduce the company's quality assurance costs. The research objective was to analyze the quality control of the products produced and identify the factors that damage the products produced by the Ayu Tangkas Women Farmers Group (WFG). The method used in this research is the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method with analysis using the p-control chart and the Fishbone Diagram. The population in the study were all products produced by WFG Ayu Tangkas in December 2019. The results showed that the quality of snacks made by WFG Ayu Tangkas, as many as 4280 pieces, were under control. This can be seen from the 28 points between the Lower Control Limit (LCL) and Upper Control Limit (UCL). There are only two points that are above the UCL control limit. The factor that causes deterioration in Ayu Tangkas WFG snacks' quality is that the ingredients are not measured with certainty using only the snack maker considerations. Besides, they do not use manufacturing machines, so that the sizes are often not the same because there is no definite SOP for the manufacturing process. There is no promotion so that snacks are made still at a constant volume and the use of firewood in the manufacture so that the heat generated is unstable, causing the snacks to burn and break frequently.

Abstract

Subak is a farmer organization that regulates the irrigation system for rice cultivation in Bali. The research examines the behavior (knowledge, attitudes, skills) of subak members within the framework of the Hindu religious philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, three forms of harmony, namely spiritual, social, and environmental. The case study was conducted in Subak Aseman III, Selemadeg Timur District, Tabanan Regency. This study applies a qualitative method with data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and literature review. The results showed that the behavior of farmers in mastering knowledge was obtained both formally and informally. Farmers are selective in accepting various technological innovations. In implementing the values ??of Tri Hita Karana, subak members carry out rituals on auspicious days to pray for a better harvest result, maintain social harmony through collective decision making, and preserve the environment. This spirit in implementing the Tri Hita Karana philosophy is in line with the spirit to realize sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

Desa Megati terletak di Kecamatan Selemadeg Barat Kabupaten Tabanan. Posisi desa ini sangat strategis karena berada pada jalur nasional Denpasar Gilimanuk sekitar 90 km dari Denpasar. Posisi yang strategis ini dapat dijadikan potensi pengembangan desa mandiri pangan berbasis sumber daya alam yaitu desa yang mengelola produk-produk lokal menjadi bahan yang siap konsumsi dan dipasarkan. Melalui pembinaan kelompok-kelompok rumah tangga dengan pemberdayaan industri rumah tangga (IRT). Gerapekan Pengembangan Pangan (Gerbang Pangan) yang memiliki filosofi mengangkat produk lokal desa menjadi produk unggulan untuk dapat bersaing secara loka, nasional maupun global. KWT diharapkan mampu mengawal produk-produk lokal desa menjadi tuan rumah di desa sendiri maupun menjadi primadona secara lebih luas, dengan harapan mampu mengangkat taraf hidup kelompok khusunya dan taraf hidup masyarakat desa secara umum. tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah:Untuk membina dan mendampingi desa Megati menuju Desa Mandiri Pangan, Melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan kelompok industri rumah tangga secara intensif sampai menghasilkan produk yang siap jual dan memiliki kualitas bagus. metode pendekatan sepertiParticipatory Research Action (PAR) yang merupakan suatu pendekatan partisipatif, melakukan semua kegiatan secara bersama dengan masyarakat sasaran. Pendekatan alih teknologi guna memberikan inovasi-inovasi baru dalam hal teknologi tepat guna yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat sasaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada KWT Ayu Tangkas dilaksanakan di Desa Megati Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur, Kabupaten Tabanan telah berjalan sebesar 100% dengan capaian sebesar 100% pada mitra KWT Ayu Tangkas. Kegiatan pada KWT Ayu Tangkas meliputi sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengolahan pangan yang dihasilkan dari hasil pertanian di Desa Megatidengan berbagai varian kue lokal dan nasional ,pelatihan penataan manajemen dan administrasi kelompok.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the knowledge of farmers about jajar legowo planting system, the income of rice jajar legowo planting system, the productivity of rice jajar legowo planting system and the efficiency of rice jajar legowo planting system. The research was conducted in Subak Paang Kelurahan Penatih, the method used was extension method, survey and experiment. To know the impact of the application of jajar legowo planting system to increase income and productivity of rice farming, compared with unlived of rice jajar legowo planting system, to know the efficiency of rice usagei used R / C. The result of the research found (1) farmers almost half of them or 45% to know about the technology of jajar legowo planting system (2) revenues of rice farming with jajar legowo planting system increased by Rp 7,446,250 / land area or 40.22%; (3) productivity of rice farming with jajar legowo planting system can increase 2,225 kg / land area or 28,80% and (4) rice farming system of jajar legowo planting system more efficient than without jajar legowo planting system.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Effect of Type Biochar on Growth and Yield Plant Green Mustard (Brassica juncea L) On The Contaminated Land Wastewater In Subak Cuculan Kepaon village". Field research was conducted in Subak Cuculan Kepaon Village, South Denpasar District for 35 days from the date of December 26, 2016 until January 31, 2017. The study aims to determine the type of biochar most good for the growth and yield of green cabbage grown on land contaminated liquid waste , Research using Random Design (RBD) with 5 treatments, treatment biochar rice husk (B1), biochar chicken manure (B2), biochar coconut (B3), biochar mahogany (B4) and control (B0) of each treatment was repeated 5 times that number to 25. Where all treatments of chicken manure biochar treatment (B2) with a dose of 15 ton / ha gives good results most growth compared with the treatment of other biochar and highly significant (P <0.01) to the control (B0) for all parameters of observations such as plant height maximum, the number of maximum leaf, wet weight of the total crop per plant, fresh weight plant roots per plant, dry weight oven total crop per plant, dry weight oven plant roots per plant and treatment biochar chicken manure (B2) an increase of 35.6% against the results of the parameters total plant fresh weight per plant, and the resulting increase 153.6% to the total oven dry weight of plants per plant compared to the control (B0).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the income and describe the ornamental plants trading system farmers production in the Petiga Village. Determination of research location is conducted by purposive with base of consideration that Petiga Village is village of ornamental plant production center in Tabanan. The respondent collected using simple random sampling method as much as 41 people and snowball sampling method as much as 3 people.From the results of the study concluded that the average income of ornamental farmers on month of Rp. 2,464,242.6 with R / C ratio of 1.57 and there are 4 channels of ornamental plants trading where the largest distribution volume is found in channel 4 by absorbing 50% of farmers' and farmer's share's largest production in channel 1 of 100%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Pemberian Jenis Biochar Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Kangkungdarat(IpomeareptansPoir)PadaLahan yang Tercemar Limbah Cair Di Subak Cuculan Desa Kepaon”. Penelitian lapangan ini dilaksanakan di Subak Cuculan Desa Kepaon, Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan selama kurang lebih 35 hari dari tanggal 26 Desember 2016 sampai 31 Januari 2017. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis biochar yang paling baik digunakan untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kangkungdarat yang ditanam pada lahan yang tercemar limbah cair. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan menggunakan 5 perlakuan yaitu dengan menggunakan perlakuan biochar sekam padi (B1), biochar kotoran ayam (B2), biochar batok kelapa (B3), biochar kayu mahoni (B4) dan kontrol (B0). Perlakuan biochar kotoran ayam (B2) menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda sangat nyata (P<0,01) dibandingkan dengan kontrol (B0) terhadap semua parameter pengamatan seperti tinggi tanaman maksimum per tanaman, jumlah daun maksimum per tanaman, berat basah total tanaman per tanaman, berat basah akar tanaman per tanaman, berat kering total tanaman per tanaman dan berat kering akar tanaman per tanaman.HasilpenelitianmenunjukkanbahwaPemberian biochar kotoran ayam (B2) dengan dosis 15 ton/ ha dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat basah total tanaman, berat basah akar tanaman, berat kering total tanaman dan berat kering akar tanaman kangkung darat.

Abstract

Technological changes in agriculture and information flow of increasingly advanced and growing farming system requires agricultural actors to be better understood with the current technological sophistication. Technological advances are expected to assist farmers in staggering the results of their farming. Integrated agricultural systems are developed to increase production per hectare of land. Based on the background, it is necessary to conduct research on the adoption of integrated agricultural system technology in Tabanan. The purpose of this research is to know the response of farmers to adoption of integrated agricultural system technology in Tabanan, and factors influencing the process related to transfer adoption technology integrated agriculture system in Tabanan.The research was conducted in Selemadeg Timur of Tabanan Regency, with the consideration that there are three groups of farmers implementing integrated Agriculture System built by the Provincial Office of Agriculture of Bali-based and producing their own bio pesticide from livestock waste. research shows that the farmer's response to adoption of integrated agricultural system technology in Tabanan is very fast, this is indicated by the time required by farmers to adopt the technology within 5 years. Factors affecting the process associated with the adoption of agricultural technology transfer system integrated in Tabanan is education, frequency follow the broadcast.

Abstract

Sektor pertanian di Indonesia memiliki peran strategis dalam perkembangan struktur perekonomian nasional. Sektor pertanian menyerap tenaga kerja terbesar terutama di pedesaan. Desa Pelaga, Kecamatan Petang, Kabupaten Badung merupakan satu-satunya daerah pengembangan asparagus di Provinsi Bali sejak tahun 2010. Pengembangan usahatani asparagus dapat dilakukan dengan peningkatan populasi tanaman melalui perluasan lahan tanam asparagus yang dimiliki petani. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis biaya produksi, keuntungan dan tingkat efisiensi, pengembangan terutama bila dikaji pada aspek peningkatan populasi tanaman melalui perluasan lahan tanam Asparagus dan menganalisis pola kemitraan usahatani asparagus di Desa Pelaga. Dengan sampel yaitu 30 orang petani dengan kriteria memiliki tanaman asparagus yang telah berumur 2-3 tahun. Besarnya biaya usahatani Asparagus di Desa Pelaga adalah Rp 70.120.250 per 27.83/are/tahun atau Rp 251.960.000 ha/tahun. Keuntungan usahatani Asparagus di Desa Pelaga adalah Rp 84.094.750 per rata-rata luas lahan tanam 27.83 are atau 302.170.000 rupiah/ha/tahun. Pengembangan usahatani Asparagus di Desa Pelaga dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga petani utamanya dapat dilakukan dengan peningkatan populasi tanaman Asparagus melalui perluasan lahan tanam. Hubungan kemitraan petani asparagus dengan Koperasi Mertanadi adalah hubungan Pola Inti Plasma dimana Koperasi Mertanadi menyediakan sarana produksi serta memasarkan hasil produksi dengan harga yang telah ditentukan koperasi.
