Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain an overview regarding the influence of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model in mathematics learning in terms of students' creative thinking. The type of research used is experimentation with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was taken using a saturated sampling technique with 25 students as an experimental class taught using the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model and 24 students as a control class taught using conventional learning. The instrument for collecting data is a questionnaire. The data normality test uses the Liliefors test and the homogeneity test uses Fisher. Hypothesis testing using the t test, shows tcount (2.73) > ttable (2.01) with ???? = 0.05 which states that ???????? is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model in mathematics learning in terms of review. from students' creative thinking

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate curriculum implementation in 12 public junior high schools in Mataram City, focusing on the role of teachers in the dynamics of learning. Using descriptive method and quantitative approach, this study details the features of curriculum implementation, including planning, flow of learning objectives, learning and assessment, use of teaching materials, and Pancasila learning project. The evaluation shows that most parts of the curriculum have been realized, but further adjustments are needed to the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Research and Technology. Certain areas, such as the use of project modules, require improvement in the utilization of existing resources. Collaboration between teachers, with parents/community/industry, and evaluation/reflection on the curriculum are important aspects of this implementation. However, more structured evaluation is needed to improve the quality and effects of Merdeka Curriculum. Although the implementation stage has gone well, the evaluation highlights that there is room to improve skills and more optimal effects in the learning process. This research provides an overview of the curriculum implementation after one year and identifies areas that require further attention to improve the student learning experience

Abstract

The extrovert-introvert personality type has different energy sources for the individual, which affects the difference in thinking structures that will be obtained in solving problems. The thinking structure is the internal representation of students' mental activities that describes the flow of solving mathematical problems. Therefore, the mistakes made by students in solving mathematical problems require proper resolution, one of which is defragmentation. The purpose of this research is to analyze students' thinking structures related to personality types in solving problems through defragmentation. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive research type. Subject selection was carried out using purposive sampling technique with criteria being students who have extrovert-introvert personality types regarding mistakes in understanding and transformation. The research data consisted of answers, recordings of semi-structured interviews, and students' think-aloud results. The analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that defragmentation can help students with extrovert-introvert personality types to understand mistakes and perform transformations to reorganize their thinking structure. This is evidenced by the completeness of students' thinking structures from the stages of reading, understanding, transforming, analyzing, and evaluating.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using technology-based tutorial videos and teaching modules on improving the basic skills of students in the mechanical engineering program at SMK 3 Mataram. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study was conducted at SMK 3 Mataram with subjects from class X majoring in Mechanical Engineering, which is divided into two classes: Class X TPM (machining engineering) and Class X TPL (welding engineering), with data collection techniques gathered through pretests and posttests to measure the effect of the learning results before and after the treatment. Test results indicate that students who use video tutorials tend to achieve higher scores compared to those who only use teaching modules. This is because video tutorials are able to present material visually and auditorily, making it easier for students to understand abstract concepts and complex practical procedures.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of information technology in enhancing mathematical problem-solving competencies. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The subjects of this research include teachers and students who are directly involved in digital-based mathematics learning using instructional videos. Data collection techniques were conducted through semi-structured interviews, data analysis, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through several stages including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that digital transformation in mathematics learning, particularly through the use of digital media such as learning videos on YouTube, can enhance students' understanding of concepts and their ability to solve mathematical problems, especially on topics that require visualization such as gradients. Although information technology offers various advantages, such as ease of access to learning and more engaging material presentation, its success is still influenced by factors such as the availability of devices, internet connectivity, student motivation, and the active role of teachers in providing guidance and encouragement. Thus, the success of integrating technology in mathematics learning heavily relies on the combination of appropriate digital media, adequate infrastructure support, and consistent teacher mentoring.
