Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe various information regarding the implementation of ṭarīqah an-nuṣūṣ al-mutakāmilah in qawā'id al-‘arabiyyah learning. This research paradigm is interpretive with a qualitative approach. The research method used is a case study. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and document analysis. The data analysis technique in this research uses pattern-matching theory. The results showed that ṭarīqah an-nuṣūṣ al-mutakāmilah is an applicative and interactive learning method based on Arabic texts used to improve the ability of qawā'id al- 'arabiyyah to students. This method can help students apply the material quickly. Teachers and students are actively involved in learning and use supporting books published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020.

Abstract

Around 52.6% of women aged <50 years in Indonesia are diagnosed with breast cancer. One of the chemotherapy regimens with a toxicity effect on reproductive function, especially ovarian follicles, is 5-fluorouracil-doxorubicin-cyclophosphamide (FAC). Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) is a biomarker that can be used to assess the ovarian function. This study aimed to determine the correlation between pre-chemotherapy AMH serum level, menstrual status, and whether the AMH serum level can predict ovarian function recovery in pre-menopausal women receiving FAC chemotherapy. This was an analytical observational study with a prospective cohort design performed in Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital, Bandung, Indonesia, during 2021-2022. Data were analyzed using correlation analysis. Subjects were breast cancer patients aged ≤45 years, still of reproductive age, with no prior history of chemotherapy, and were undergoing the FAC chemotherapy. All 32 patients who met the inclusion criteria were included in this study. There was a significant difference (p 0.0001) between pre- and post-6 cycles of chemotherapy AMH levels. Post-6 cycles of chemotherapy showed lower AMH levels. There was a high correlation (p 0.0034) between pre-chemotherapy AMH level and menstrual status six months after six cycles of chemotherapy. The correlation test between post-chemotherapy AMH level and menstrual status showed a non-significant result. Thus, there is a high statistical correlation between pre-chemotherapy anti-Mullerian hormone levels in pre-menopausal women with breast cancer and the menstrual status after FAC chemotherapy which demonstrates that the AMH level could also be used to predict ovarian function recovery.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the representation of communicative competence in the Arabic Language Learning Outcomes (LO) of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research seeks to ensure a balance between linguistic accuracy and contextual communication skills in the national curriculum. Using a qualitative approach with a directed content analysis, the study adopts the frameworks of Canale and Swain (1980) and Canale (1983), which encompass grammatical, sociolinguistic, discourse, and strategic competences. The corpus comprises the official Arabic Language Law issued through the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education No. 3302 of 2024. The analysis employed Mayring's (2000) six-step deductive category application, covering the definition of focus, formulation of analytical aspects, category development and revision, full coding with reliability checks, and interpretation of meaning patterns. The findings show that the LO presents a progressive yet uneven development of communicative competence. Grammatical and discourse competences are explicitly structured and systematically developed across all learning phases (A–F), while sociolinguistic and strategic competences remain implicit and underrepresented. In conclusion, the LO still prioritises linguistic accuracy and textual cohesion over adaptive and pragmatic skills required for authentic communication. The study emphasizes the importance of explicitly integrating sociolinguistic and strategic dimensions into curriculum design and teaching practices to enhance learners' ability to communicate effectively, contextually, and meaningfully.

Abstract

Arabic language learning still faces challenges, particularly students' low learning interest and limited vocabulary mastery due to the dominance of conventional and less interactive teaching methods. Previous studies have examined the use of digital learning media; however, many of them focused on either learning interest or vocabulary mastery separately. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Plotagon Story media in simultaneously improving students' learning interest and Arabic vocabulary mastery. The study employed a true experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group. The participants were 36 students assigned to the experimental and control groups. Data were collected using a learning interest questionnaire and an Arabic vocabulary mastery test, and analyzed using ANCOVA. The findings showed that students taught using Plotagon Story demonstrated higher learning interest and better vocabulary mastery than students receiving conventional instruction. These results indicate that animation-based digital media can promote more interactive and meaningful Arabic learning. This study suggests that Plotagon Story can serve as an alternative instructional medium to strengthen Arabic language instruction, particularly in madrasah contexts.
