Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai efektivitas penggunaan metode mind mapping dalam meningkatkan kemampuan belajar membaca pada anak berkesulitan belajar kelas IV1 di Sekolah Alam Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian pretest dan posttest kelompok tunggal . Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda. Hasil uji hipotesis melalui uji rangking Wilxocon menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak. Kesimpulannya bahwa penggunaan metode mind mapping dapat meningkatkan kemampuan belajar membaca pada anak berkesulitan belajar kelas IV di Sekolah Alam Bandung, sehingga dapat dijadikan alternative guru dalam membantu mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada anak berkesulitan belajar di tingkat SD Kata kunci: mind mapping, membaca, anak berkesulitan belajar

Abstract

Arabic language education in Indonesia faces the challenge of being perceived as mono-cultural and narrowly religious, often excluding broader multicultural contexts. This study explores Arabic language learning in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) across culturally diverse regions in Indonesia to identify how multicultural values are integrated into the curriculum. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research was conducted in six provinces: West Java, Central Java, East Java, Lombok, Bali, and Sulawesi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and surveys involving 50 Arabic teachers and 300 students in pesantren institutions. The findings reveal that Arabic learning in pesantren reflects four key dimensions of multicultural integration: cultural, social, intellectual, and spiritual. These dimensions shape learners’ engagement with Arabic not only as a religious language but also as a medium for intercultural dialogue and identity negotiation. Additionally, regional cultural influences significantly affect teaching strategies and learners’ motivations. The research highlights the potential of pesantren to serve as transformative spaces for multicultural Islamic education, bridging religious values with local cultural diversity. This study underscores the importance of recontextualizing Arabic instruction within Indonesia’s multicultural society, promoting inclusivity while maintaining pesantren’s core religious missions in the evolving landscape of education in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze learning obstacles in mastering the rules of damair, particularly damair munfa?ilah and damair mutta?ilah, in Arabic language learning among Grade X.1 students at Madrasah Aliyah Al Inayah, Bandung. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through diagnostic tests and interviews, involving students who had previously studied the topic of damair. Interview participants were selected using maximum variation sampling, a type of purposive sampling that considers the diversity in students' performance levels. The analysis revealed that students' learning obstacles can be classified into three categories based on Brousseau’s theory: (1) ontogenic obstacles, related to students’ limited vocabulary and cognitive readiness; (2) epistemological obstacles, involving misconceptions and conceptual errors in understanding the rules of damair; and (3) didactical obstacles, resulting from unsystematic instructional approaches, particularly in explaining the function of damair within i‘rab structures, which hinder students’ comprehensive understanding of grammatical relations. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a basis for developing more targeted teaching strategies, thereby improving students’ understanding of damair rules and supporting the overall enhancement of their Arabic language proficiency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara sistematis pemanfaatan Canva dan potensi integrasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam visualisasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab pemula. Melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), sebanyak 12 artikel primer dari lima tahun terakhir dianalisis berdasarkan relevansi, metode, dan hasil yang dilaporkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Canva secara konsisten digunakan sebagai media bantu ajar visual seperti komik, poster, dan video, yang efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata, minat belajar, dan keterlibatan siswa. Namun, sebagian besar studi belum memanfaatkan fitur Canva AI secara optimal. Hanya satu studi yang menyebut eksplisit penggunaan AI dalam proses desain media. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peluang besar bagi pengembangan penelitian dan inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Integrasi Canva AI dapat memberikan personalisasi, efisiensi, dan kualitas media yang lebih tinggi dalam proses belajar bahasa Arab, khususnya pada tahap pemula. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan landasan penting bagi eksperimen dan implementasi lanjut dalam konteks pendidikan bahasa berbasis digital.

Abstract

The importance of mastering Arabic syntax for Muslims makes this field widely sought after, not only among young learners but also among adults. However, innovations in Arabic syntax instruction tailored to the needs of adult learners are still rarely developed. This study aims to describe the application of an inductive-based technique, namely Mistake Buster, in teaching Arabic syntax, particularly the structure of jumlah fi‘liyyah. The study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach involving five adult female learners over the age of 20 in a semi-private Naḥwu Class program. The results show that adult learners not only better understand the structure of jumlah fi‘liyyah but also gain a deeper understanding of i‘rāb. Learners also better understand types of kalimah and their differences; recognize the kinds, meanings, and patterns of jumlah; understand the appropriate use of ṣifah in fā’il or maf‘ūl bih; and are able to analyze elements such as fi‘il, fā’il, maf‘ūl bih, ḥarf, isim majrūr, and ṣifah in a jumlah, along with their i‘rāb signs. In addition, their activeness, curiosity, self-confidence, critical thinking, memory, and motivation improve. This study contributes significantly to Arabic syntax instruction for adult learners and recommends developing instructional materials or media based on the Mistake Buster technique.

Abstract

In this analysis, the researcher uses the framing model from Pan and Kosiciki which is a modification of the operational dimensions of van Dijk's discourse analysis. The framing analysis model owned by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki is considered to offer framing analysis with a more comprehensive coverage. This framing model studies at least the framing device divided into four major structures. First, syntactic structure; second, the script structure; third, the thematic structure; fourth, rhetorical structure. Using the framming analysis method, related to the news regarding the investigation into the harun masiku bribery case presented by the online media detik.com, the writer finds the conclusion that detik.com highlights certain aspects in constructing the incident. The aspect that is highlighted is regarding the people who are allegedly involved in the case where the PAW bribery is not traced, namely Harun Masiku. The online media detik.com only features one person, namely Yasonna Laoly as Minister of Law and Human Rights. Whereas in this case it was not only Yasonna who deserved suspicion, but also the Director General of Immigration and also people who were in the PAW bribery circle

Abstract

Adhocracy is the antithesis of all bureaucratic characteristics. If the bureaucracy is seen as too rigid about the acceleration of social and technological change, it is immediately necessary to have an adhocracy as a normative administrative. The Cirebon Smart City Program Implementation Team applied an adhocratic pattern in the organizational communication process, thus leading the author to conduct this research. This research method uses qualitative methods with observation and interview data collection. Appointed as one of the cities to implement Smart City, Cirebon City is making every effort to get around various obstacles. Especially structural constraints. The structure is made as dynamic as possible by combining a combination of structural officials and implementing elements who have excellent enthusiasm and competence. Not only that, the city of Cirebon also embraces all existing elements to make the implementation of the Smart City a success. Starting from academia, business, government, media and others. This is because the Smart City program is actually a joint and ongoing program. In addition, Smart City also wants to create a safe, comfortable, prosperous and happy society in a sustainable manner, whether it uses information technology or not. Abstrak Adhocracy merupakan antitesis dari segala sifat birokrasi. Jika birokrasi dipandang terlalu rigid terhadap akselerasi perubahan sosial dan teknologi maka segera dibutuhkan keberadaan adhocracy sebagai administratif yang normative. Tim Pelaksana Program Cirebon Smart City menerapkan pola adhokrasi dalam proses komunikasi organisasi, sehingga membawa penulis melakukan penelitian ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengambilan data observasi dan wawancara. Ditunjuk sebagai salah satu kota untuk mengimplementasikan Smart City, Kota Cirebon berupaya sekreatif mungkin untuk menyiasiati berbagai kendala. Khususnya kendala struktural. Struktur dibuat sedinamis mungkin dengan memadukan kombinasi unsur pejabat struktural dan unsur pelaksana yang memiliki semangat dan kompetensi yang sangat baik. Tidak hanya itu, Kota Cirebon juga merangkul semua elemen yang ada untuk bisa menyukseskan implementasi Smart City tersebut. Mulai dari akademisi, bisnis, government, media dan lainnya. Dikarenakan program Smart City sebenarnya merupakan program bersama dan berkelanjutan. Selain itu, Smart City juga berkeinginan untuk mewujudkan masyarakat yang aman, nyaman, sejahtera dan bahagia secara berkelanjutan, baik itu menggunakan teknologi informasi maupun tidak.

Abstract

The use of social media continues to increase every year, especially Instagram users who are widely used to share culinary information, pictures and videos. This study aims to determine the effect of exposure to culinary information on Instagram @CirebonBribin on followers' attitudes about Cirebon culinary specialties. Because how much influence culinary information has on the attitudes of Instagram social media users needs to be investigated more deeply so that they can provide contributions and insights for business actors and policy makers to promote their regional potential. The research method and approach used is quantitative with an explanatory survey that examines a sample of @CirebonBribin Instagram followers. The theory used is Uses and Gratifications which examines the intensity of Instagram social media use, especially culinary information from @CirebonBribin on changes in followers' attitudes about Cirebon culinary specialties. The findings of the research conducted are that there is a significant influence of curiosity, duration and frequency, the content of information consumed and individual relationships (involvement) on all elements of attitude.

Abstract

Da'wah rhetoric plays a crucial role in shaping students' understanding and attitudes towards religious teachings, including enhancing religious moderation. KH Ahmad Nawawi, as the head of Pondok Pesantren Mambaus Sholihin Babakan Ciwaringin in Cirebon Regency, utilizes his da'wah to deliver messages of religious moderation relevant to contemporary challenges. Amidst the rise of extremism and intolerance, KH Ahmad Nawawi emphasizes a da'wah approach that integrates classical religious texts with contemporary issues, using a structured and logical method in his delivery. Through effective rhetoric, he aims to instill values of moderation, tolerance, and inclusivity among students, enabling them to apply balanced Islamic teachings in their daily lives. This research aims to examine the processes of Inventio (finding materials) and Ordo Collocatio (organization) in KH Ahmad Nawawi's da'wah rhetoric in enhancing religious moderation among students at Pondok Pesantren Mambaus Sholihin Babakan Ciwaringin, Cirebon Regency. This study employs a qualitative method, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data drawing. The findings indicate that the Inventio and Ordo Collocatio processes in KH Ahmad Nawawi's da'wah rhetoric at Pondok Pesantren Mambaus Sholihin Babakan Ciwaringin are carried out meticulously and systematically to enhance religious moderation among students. He classical religious texts with contemporary knowledge, follows social issue developments, and combines in discussions with scholars and students. His da'wah is organized in a structured manner, beginning with engaging introductions followed by relevant evidence, making it easier for students to understand and apply the principles of moderation in their daily lives according to current contexts. It is hoped that these findings will enrich the literature of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Studies Program at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Bunga Bangsa Islamic University, Cirebon. This research makes a significant contribution to understanding the rhetorical aspects of moderate da'wah through an in-depth analysis of the process of inventio and the order of collocatio KH. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principles of Arab-Islamic cultural integration in Arabic teaching materials based on Chapter 2 of the Book of Iḍāʾāt li Mu’allimi al-Lughah al-ʿArabīyah li Ghayr al-Nāṭiqīn Bihā by Abdur Rahman (2010). The approach used is qualitative descriptive with a targeted content analysis method that focuses on identifying relevant cultural elements in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers. The results of the study show that the integration of Arab-Islamic culture is an essential component in the preparation of Arabic teaching materials, including aspects of formal language (al-fuṣḥā), Islamic values, social habits of the Arab community, and the use of cultural-based supporting media. The study reveals that Arabic teaching materials must transcend linguistic instruction to embrace Arab-Islamic cultural narratives, balancing these with local Indonesian contexts to avoid dissonance and enhance relevance. Practical recommendations advocate for intercultural and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approaches leveraging religious texts and culturally rich media while adhering to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Evaluation through the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product) is emphasized to ensure alignment with educational goals and cultural sensitivities. This research contributes a framework for developing Arabic teaching materials that harmonize linguistic mastery, Islamic values, and local cultural identity, fostering students’ communicative competence and intercultural empathy in Indonesia’s diverse Islamic educational landscape.
