Abstract

Human being was created for the purpose of serving God with religion being the guide. Everyone must do self-introspection (muhasabah) to achieve these goals every year, month, day, or even every time. This study aims to evaluate the program of character education implemented in and achieved by PAUD Insan Karimah. This is qualitative research with the CIPP model (context, inputs, process, and product). The data were collected through in-depth interviews, document studies, and structured observations. The subjects in this study were the principal, class teacher, and art assistant teacher. The results showed that the program of character education at PAUD Insan Karimah was in the good category. This was shown by the completion of aspects of context, input, process, and product, as evidenced by the inclusion of character in the school's vision and mission, the existence of supporting facilities and infrastructure, the integration of programs through habituation activities, and the involvement of all parties in character education programs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the motion of measles dance in pelandok laki studio, Tanjung Pandan sub-district, Belitung Regency. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. The object of this research is Measles Dance in Sanggar Pelandok Laki, Tanjung Pandan District, Belitung Regency. The main instrument of this research is the researcher himself. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that Measles dance seen from the aspects of space, time and energy aspects of Measles dance has several elements contained in Measles dance movements. Measles dance observed from the perspective of the element of motion space is 6 straight lines. So the dominant in the motion of Measles Dance is a straight motion that has the impression of calm and balanced with full of enthusiasm. The volume in the measles dance is 6 medium volumes, so the dominant volume is medium volume, which means it describes the joy or cheerfulness of teenagers in entertaining the community after the rice harvest. The dominant level is the medium level. The direction of facing in the measles dance is 4 facing the front 2 facing the right side left which describes intimacy. While the focus of view in Measles Dance movements is dominant to the hand or shawl.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi terkait kemungkinan apakah suatu prestasi kerja dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan kerja, minat kerja, dan kepuasan kerja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kausal melalui survei terhadap kepala sekolah menengah pertama di Kabupaten Lebak Banten, Indonesia. Populasi kepala sekolah SMP sebanyak 225 orang yang selanjutnya diperoleh 53 kepala sekolah SMP di Kabupaten Lebak setelah dilakukan pengambilan sampel secara purposive dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Metode survei kuantitatif digunakan sebagai metode penelitian ini. Selanjutnya kuesioner digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Korelasi dan regresi merupakan teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan empat temuan. Pertama, adanya pengaruh kemampuan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja. Kedua, terdapat pengaruh minat kerja terhadap prestasi kerja. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja. Terakhir, terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama kemampuan kerja, minat kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja. Oleh karena itu, temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa SMP di Kabupaten Lebak perlu mempertimbangkan variabel kemampuan kerja, minat kerja, dan kepuasan kerja Kepala Sekolah dalam merencanakan dan mengembangkan sumber daya manusia di SMP di Kabupaten Lebak.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan proses yang sangat bergantung pada kualitas pendidik dalam membimbing pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi implementasi manajemen kelas dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran mahasiswa semester 3 pada mata kuliah Poetry and Drama in Language di Universitas La Tansa Mashiro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi dan wawancara. Data diperoleh dari sumber primer, yaitu dosen pengampu mata kuliah Poetry and Drama, dan sumber sekunder berupa hasil observasi fenomena di dalam kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kelas memainkan peran penting dalam mengatasi hambatan pembelajaran, seperti kurangnya motivasi belajar, rendahnya keaktifan mahasiswa, dan kendala komunikasi antara mahasiswa, dosen, dan materi ajar. Dengan implementasi manajemen kelas yang efektif, potensi kelas dapat dioptimalkan sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih lancar, efisien, dan berhasil. Selain itu, dorongan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa terbukti mampu menciptakan lingkungan akademik yang mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar terbaik.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of parental and community support in promoting English language learning (ELL) in rural schools. The study adopts a qualitative approach with two complementary methods: a phenomenological study and a case study. The phenomenological study involves semi-structured interviews with 20 rural students from different grade levels and 10 parents from different socioeconomic backgrounds to understand their lived experiences of ELL and the challenges and benefits they encounter. The case study involves a detailed analysis of one rural school that has implemented a successful ELL program with strong parental and community involvement. The case study uses multiple sources of data, such as observations, documents, and focus group discussions with teachers and community members, to examine the processes and outcomes of the ELL program. The study reveals that parental and community support can have positive effects on students’ ELL outcomes and opportunities, such as motivation, achievement, confidence, exposure, and access. However, the study also identifies some challenges and barriers that limit the potential of parental and community support, such as lack of resources, knowledge, skills, time, and trust. The study also highlights the diversity and variability of parental and community support across different contexts, such as grade levels, socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnic groups, and regions. The study also suggests some implications and recommendations for policy makers, educators, and stakeholders who are interested in enhancing ELL provision and quality in rural schools.

Abstract

Building a politics of recognition in a multicultural society. This research was conducted in Sumber Mulyo Village, Muara Sugihan District, Banyuasin Regency and used social identity theory from Henri Tajfel in Hogg's identity theory which stated that there are three reasons for building a politics of recognition, namely, self-categorization, social comparison and interactional models. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. The data collection method for this research is through interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that there are three reasons for building a politics of recognition, namely, self-categorization by attracting public interest through promising work programs, especially among farmers and youth, social comparison carried out by following the customs and customs of the Javanese people and interactional models by studying and mastering the culture of Javanese society to gain political recognition from the majority ethnic community. Two factors influence the victory of a village head candidate from an ethnic minority to gain recognition from the community. The first is the structural factor of the winning team. Second, the influence factor of the individual history of the village head candidate shows that the community is starting to think about electing a village head candidate from an ethnic minority and a politics of recognition is being formed among the people of Sumber Mulyo Village, Muara Sugihan District, Bnyuasin Regency.

Abstract

This study entitled “Improving Students’ Reading Comprehension by Implementing Top-Down Processing Strategy”. Reading is an important skill that has to be taught in senior high school. From reading a text, the reader can get many knowledge and information. While, Top-Down Processing Strategy is one of strategies that can encourage students’ background knowledge to assist them in comprehending their reading. This study aimed at recognizing whether Top-Down Processing strategy increases students’ reading comprehension, and also to finding out students’ obstacles in learning reading comprehension by using Top-Down Processing strategy. To gain the data, the researchers conducted field research at SMAN 3 by implementing three techniques, namely: Experimental teaching, test and questionnaire. In choosing the sample the researcher used purposive sampling.

Abstract

Abstract: Plant diversity is an important topic in science education at the elementary school level. Unfortunately, conventional teaching methods are often perceived as less engaging for students, resulting in an incomplete understanding of plant diversity, especially in their surrounding environment. This community service activity was conducted to enhance students’ understanding of plant diversity at SDN 2 Merembu through an interactive game-based learning approach. The school’s garden and yard, which contain various types of plants, were used as direct learning media through educational games to create a fun, active, and participatory learning atmosphere. In this activity, students were introduced to different plant species around the school and involved in simple plant characterization activities based on morphological traits. Through games such as “Tebak Tumbuhan” and “Jelajah Taman Sekolah,” students were trained to observe and identify the unique characteristics of each plant species. The results showed strong student enthusiasm and participation during the game-based learning process. The warm and enthusiastic responses suggest that game-based educational strategies can be a relevant and appealing learning method for elementary school children. Abstract

Budidaya edible flower telah dilakukan oleh KSM Rangsot sebagai salah satu langkah penataan lanskap Bukit Cahaya dalam usaha pengembangannya menjadi destinasi edu-ekowisata. Edible flower adalah jenis tanaman hias yang dapat dikonsumsi karena karakteristik bunga berdasarkan kandungannya serta teknikbudidayanya yang tidak menggunakan bahan kimia sintetik. Untuk itu, dilaksanakan penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organic dan pestisida nabati di Dusun Rangsot, Desa Sigar Penjalin, Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode edukatif dan partisipatif melibatkan 22 orang peserta. Metode edukatif dilakukan melalui penyuluhan dan dan demonstrasi langsung, sedangkan metode partisipatif dilakukan dengan cara melibatkan mitra secara langsung pada seluruh rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian. yang Kegiatan tersebut mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat mengenai praktik budidaya tanaman secara organik, khususnya pembuatan dan aplikasi pupuk organik dan pestisida nabati. Hasil ini ditunjukkan dari tingkat partisipasi peserta yang tinggi, serta peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dengan meningkatnya nilai pada pre-tes dan pos-tes sebelum dan setelah kegiatan dilaksanakan. Kata Kunci: Pengabdian masyarakat, Pertanian organic, Budidaya edible flower, Pupuk Organik, Pestisida Nabati, Bukit Cahaya, Rangsot.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala desa perempuan dalam partisipasi politik dan pengambilan keputusan ditingkat desa serta dukungan masyarakat terhadap kepemimpinan perempuan dalam jabatan kepala Desa Midar. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi berkaitan dengan Politik Gender. Data informan dalam penelitian ini  berjumlah 8 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan mampu menjalankan peran strategis dalam tata kelola pemerintahan desa, meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan budaya patriarki. Partisipasi masyarakat, khususnya perempuan, meningkat seiring terbukanya ruang politik yang inklusif. Dukungan terhadap kepala desa perempuan didasarkan pada kinerja, bukan jenis kelamin, yang mencerminkan adanya pergeseran persepsi masyarakat terhadap kepemimpinan berbasis gender.
