Abstract

This research begins with indications of a financial crisis in several companies that are feared to result in bankruptcy in the future. The research objective is to identify the factors that cause economic crises, including leverage, company activity, market value, sales growth, profitability, and liquidity. The research approach uses quantitative methods, with the population in the form of annual reports of companies in the transportation and logistics sector for five periods (2018 to 2022). The research sample was determined through purposive sampling, so 20 company samples were obtained. Data analysis was carried out using logistic regression analysis with SPSS tools. The results of this study are H1 accepted with a significance value of leverage of 0.038 (sig <0.05). H2 is accepted with a significance value of activity of 0.002 (sig <0.05). H3 is accepted with a significance value of market value of 0.010 (sig <0.05). H4 is accepted with a significance value of revenue growth of 0.035 (sig < 0.05). While H5 is rejected with a significance value of profitability of 0.717 (sig > 0.05). H6 is also dismissed with a significance value of liquidity of 0.055 (sig > 0.05). Meanwhile, H7 is accepted with a significance value of 0.000 (sig < 0.05). Thus, this simultaneously shows that leverage, activity, market value, revenue growth, profitability, and liquidity have an impact on the financial crisis.

Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that influence entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z, often referred to as "zillennials," within the college environment. Using a quantitative approach, this research examines the relationships between family support, entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial efficacy, and how these factors affect the intention to pursue entrepreneurship. Data were collected through a survey using questionnaires distributed to college students who met certain criteria. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a total of 98 respondents. The analysis results show that all four independent variables—family support, entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial efficacy—significantly influence entrepreneurial intention. Family support was found to play an important role in motivating students to pursue entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial knowledge helps individuals recognize business opportunities. Additionally, entrepreneurial orientation, which includes innovation and proactivity, also positively contributes to the intention to start a business. Entrepreneurial efficacy has been shown to boost students' confidence in facing business risks. This study highlights the importance of both internal and external factors in fostering entrepreneurial interest among young people. Colleges are encouraged to play a more active role in nurturing students' entrepreneurial spirit, helping them adapt to the increasingly competitive job market.

Abstract

UKM Bawang goreng Marjaya dihadapkan pada kebutuhan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi digital guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, memperluas jangkauan pasar, serta menciptakan nilai tambah yang berkelanjutan bagi konsumen. Upaya pendampingan UKM inidilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap pemilik usaha serta proses bisnis yang berlangsung. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penerapan e-commerce, strategi pemasaran digital, dan manajemen data berbasis teknologi mampu meningkatkan daya saing bisnis dan membuka peluang ekspansi. Meskipun demikian, masih ada kendala dalam hal keterbatasan sumber daya manusia yang memahami teknologi digital dan infrastruktur teknologi yang belum memadai. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan bisnis melalui transformasi digital perlu didukung oleh pelatihan sumber daya manusia yang memadai serta kolaborasi dengan pihak eksternal untuk memastikan implementasi teknologi berjalan optimal. Studi ini juga menyarankan UKM lainnya untuk lebih proaktif dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital sebagai bagian dari strategi pertumbuhan dan keberlanjutan usaha.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of a community empowerment trilogy aimed at increasing economic self-reliance among sheep and goat farmers in Gorowong Village. The main challenges these farmers face include limited access to capital, low management skills, and dependency on intermediaries. This program implements three empowerment components: capital support, capacity building for farmers, and purchase guarantees. The implementation methods include stages of socialization, training, technology application for grazing management, ongoing mentorship, and evaluation, all designed to build capacity and optimize land use for grazing. Initial results show improvements in farmers’ technical skills, community engagement in sustainable management practices, and significant income growth. The program has reduced farmers’ reliance on intermediaries and strengthened financial independence through financial literacy skills. To ensure sustainability, this article recommends further support in marketing, continuous training, and access to low-interest financing. This research contributes to the literature on agricultural-based community empowerment by providing a replicable model for sustainable economic growth in rural communities.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a new construct approach to consumer brand engagement that bridges the relationship between satisfaction, trust and commitment to customer loyalty. This study fills the void by examining the mediating role of Islamic store brand engagement to solve the inconsistency in the relationship between satisfaction, trust, and commitment to consumer loyalty. The study surveyed 375 shop customers with Islamic attributes in Central Java Indonesia region research samples. This study’s results can be applied as a new marketing strategy for stores with Islamic attributes by practicing Islamic values in business, highlighting the existence of halal products, creating and maintaining an Islamic atmosphere at the shop, and practicing Islamic-based humanistic services.

Abstract

Cipaku Village, located in Purbalingga, Central Java, is a center for traditional palm sugar production with significant yet untapped economic potential. This community service program aims to assist palm sugar farmers through rebranding and packaging innovation. Using a collaborative approach, the program includes market surveys, new packaging design, and e-commerce marketing strategies. The results indicate improvements in product quality and appeal, as well as the adoption of sustainable farming practices. However, challenges such as a lack of marketing knowledge and limited access to capital continue to hinder the farmers' business development. Therefore, ongoing collaboration is needed to sustain these innovations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan struktur modal dan profitabilitas pada UMKM Batik Pringmas di Banyumas, mengeksplorasi dinamika keuangan dalam kerangka manajemen perubahan. Latar belakang menunjukkan Batik Pringmas, meskipun kaya budaya, menghadapi stagnasi keuangan karena kurangnya pemanfaatan modal optimal, literasi keuangan rendah, dan tiadanya strategi pertumbuhan. Profitabilitas belum dievaluasi sistematis, menghambat pengambilan keputusan strategis. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis hubungan struktur modal dan profitabilitas serta mengeksplorasi dinamika keuangan dalam manajemen perubahan. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kasus digunakan, berfokus pada Batik Pringmas sebagai unit analisis. Data sekunder dari laporan institusi (Bank Indonesia, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman) dan studi akademik dikumpulkan. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik, mengacu pada model delapan tahap transformasi Kotter dan model tiga tahap perubahan Lewin (unfreezing, changing, refreezing), dan triangulasi sumber menjamin kredibilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Batik Pringmas sangat bergantung pada pendanaan internal, membatasi ekspansi. Profitabilitas belum optimal karena kurangnya strategi keuangan terstruktur. Tahap unfreezing menunjukkan kesadaran restrukturisasi terbatas; changing menampilkan upaya inovatif seperti digitalisasi; namun refreezing kurang konsisten karena minimnya dukungan institusional. Kesimpulannya, penguatan struktur modal dan perencanaan keuangan jangka panjang krusial untuk meningkatkan profitabilitas dan ketahanan UMKM. Keterbatasan penelitian ini tidak menggunakan data primer.

Abstract

This research tested the effect of emotional intelligence (EI) on job satisfaction (JS), with positive affect (PA) and negative affect (NA) as mediators and organizational learning capability (OLC) as a moderator. Respondents of this research are 132 salespeople of banks in Banyumas Regency, Central Java Indonesia. They completed 59 items on distributed questionnaires. Results using structural equation modeling indicated that positive effect of EI on JS was not significant; instead, the effect was significantly mediated by PA. Furthermore, EI had significant positive effect on PA and PA had significant positive effect on JS as well. Those results confirm expectation derived from Affective Events Theory regarding the role of work affectivity as an interface between personality and work attitudes. Meanwhile, EI had insignificant negative effect on NA and NA also had insignificant negative effect on JS, therefore, NA was not a significant mediator of EI’s effect on JS. Different from expectations, OLC was not a significant moderator of the effect itself.

Abstract

This research paper presents a bibliometric analysis of social entrepreneurship and leadership literature to identify key themes, trends, and collaborative patterns within the field. The study uses VOSviewer software to visualize co-authorship networks and generate keyword co-occurrence maps. Data was collected from the Scopus database, focusing on publications from 2013 to this year. The results show six distinct clusters of research themes: social justice, corporate social responsibility, social capital, social class, social leadership, and power. Trend analysis shows a steady increase in research outcomes, underscoring the growing importance of social entrepreneurship and leadership in addressing societal challenges. In addition, the authors' collaboration network shows a thriving research community with active cross-disciplinary collaborations. This visualization provides valuable insights for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, facilitating the identification of influential works, research gaps, and potential areas for collaboration in social entrepreneurship and leadership.
